Stayed for 13 days in January, 2016 My party of 4 booked a certain condo and were given another- not adequate at all. There is some strangeness with the communication between VRBO and rental agent in that the error could not be corrected. We rec'd a 10% refund from the manager - which was mere 'tokenism'. We complained to VRBO & they expressed concern, but left it to the owner or manager to accept responsibility. We booked thru VRBO because of its good reputation & would expect VRBO to supervise a solution- go to bat for us.The unit we got (182) has many online complaints about it, & the guest book had similar - basically shabby & not too clean. No A/C either. We feel we were hosed. I believe if we deal with VRBO again, we'll book through the OWNER;in that way the he/she would accept personal responsibility for any misrepresentation.
Very disappointing! Doug R. from Sisters, Oregon does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 9 days in March, 2015 The unit was not clean when we arrived. The carpets are way past being cleaned. The sheets on the beds are so old the fitted sheet won't stay on the bed. Cockroaches in the kitchen, no smoke detectors in the unit. The photos of the unit used for advertising show a much upgraded patio and furniture. I am still waiting for my security deposit that has not been returned.

Stayed for 4 days in December, 2013 Excellent facility. Management company not in office on Sat and Sun. Poor instructions on combination key lockbox. I had to figure out how to reboot the router. Local cable service cuts out weekly per neighbors.
Who wouldn't love ocean front in Hawaii???? Reviewed by: Brenda M. recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in September, 2013 It was a comfortable stay, especially with the small AC unit which we used in the unseasonably hot, humid weather we experienced in late Sept. Loved the home atmosphere. Only negative was the too soft king sized bed.

Stayed for 6 days in June, 2013 Awesome townhouse on the ocean! Well equipped, great location, right by the pool and tennis courts. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 10 days in April, 2013 Very dirty, drain pulled out with hair. Advertised with AC and phone but had neither. Awesome location but pick another unit in complex
Great service from Kona Rentals Adrienne S. from Ottawa, ON recommends this property.
Stayed for 28 days in January, 2013 This is a very nice property right on the ocean, and we stayed there for 4 weeks. Well furnished, major appliances & WiFi all worked well, linens good, kitchenware OK, overall things were in good condition.Given that the spray can come right up over the sea-wall onto the condo (the resort pulled up our moveable lanai for 3 days of high swell & spray - 6-7 ft - while we were there) the aluminum screens were a bit corroded didn't quite fit the windows ocean-side (maybe vinyl should be considered when they're replaced). We had a few issues with equipment that Kona Rentals addressed efficiently -- replacement of lanai light, help with ceiling fan, replaced electric grill on lanai. Service reps were very pleasant and helpful. The coffee-making equipment was not good & we bought (& left behind) a new coffee-maker. We did a lot of cooking & would have liked lids for the smaller pots, a larger frying pan or wok, and at least one knife that would hold an edge. We'd definitely rent from this company & stay in this unit again. Mahalo!

Stayed for 21 days in January, 2012 The first unit was a disaster. Please don't rent this to mainland people. The second was located on the water: great. It was in need of a good cleaning, had no equipment (broom, working vac.) to clean. Agency needs to check out conditions of units before renting.
