Sun, Sand, Surf, and Sunsets is a beautiful new ground floor unit in South Mission Beach which is well equipped with all new furnishings to offer maximium comfort and enjoyment for all guests. The living space is comfortable and casual and opens up directly to the outdoor patio area so that you can enjoy the perfect weather that Southern California is famous for.
The bedroom offers a queen size bed, private bathroom with a custom travertine shower, full size closet, and television with cable. The living room has comfortable seating and a flat-screen high definition 50" TV as well as a sleeper sofa to provide additional sleeping space. The spacious kitchen is well equipped with every item you will need to make your meals while the outside patio offers a gas grill and an outdoor dining table set for you to sit and enjoy the warm California sunshine.
Additional features include a garage with one parking space with entry straight into the unit. This home is also equipped with state of the art heating, air conditioning, and a washer/dryer.

Great to have the kitchen to make quick meals. Walking distance from everything in Mission Beach. We had our 1-year-old with us and it was a little small for 3 people, but it worked out just fine. Would totally recommend this place - management was all over it when we needed something. |

Move on, don't bother booking this one A guest from Chandler, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 I've rented many a vacation rental over the years but this was by far the most underwhelming experience ever.The booking process was very easy, automated and online. All of the staff were courteous and friendly. Property listing and photography looked very nice and professional. The Mission Beach condo we rented was well-finished and in a good location.While the condo was physically a nicely remodeled unit with travertine floors, granite countertops, stainless, it was not well-cleaned nor well-maintained. In fact, it's hard to believe this company charges $150 cleaning fee as I suspect we spent more time cleaning than the maid service.I'll try to stick to the facts and allow you to form your own judgment:- Unit is furnished largely with Ikea furniture, bed, cabinets, utinsels, pillows, etc. While these items can look good new, they are not very durable nor are they ever comfortable- Sleeper couch was very dirty and desperately in need of cleaning or replacement- Carpet in the bedroom is more black than brown, also found many strands of hair that were not my hair color nor my wife's. A basic vacuum would be a nice courtesy, deep clean or replacement would be more in order- At around midnight of our first night, a brown recluse spider crawled out from the closet under the stairs next to the stacking washer/dryer- The door trim leading into the walk-in closet was damaged and there are metal brads sticking out of the trim- This unit was a ground unit in a tri-level and has surprisingly good noise insulation from noisy neighbors. We were awoken at around 7am each weekday and Sunday morning to the sound of foot stomping from above, closet doors opening and closing continuously and water running through drains in the wall- Being a beach community, the garage is a luxury but is extremely narrow and very short. Summer Vacation A guest from El Centro, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 This is a great location, in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Gabiano's (great sandwiches) and Belmont Park. Very convenient. Lots of storage and closet space in the bedroom. Lots of linens provided. Nice, big shower. Our first night there, we discovered the patio light did not work. The property manager offered to come the next morning, however we were able to get it fixed by removing the lighbulb that had broken off inside. An SUV will not fit in the garage. You need to bring plastic cups (only glasses in the kitchen) and coffee mugs, as there is only one good size and the rest are espresso size. The cushions on the kitchen bar stools are not attached, so they will shift/fall every time you get off the stool. We found an umbrella for the patio on the side of the house, however the base is very old, rusty and unstable. Using deadbolts only, being told not to lock certain doors (because you will lock yourself out) and the use of one keypad on the front door as your only means of locking the place when you leave did not make us feel very comfortable or safe. Very hard to load and unload items into the car and house because of garage setup and only being able to access certain doors. The upstairs neighbors had guests who park tandem next to this parking space. There is no way to walk between the cars. Again, great location. Just a few helpful hints for future guests! |

I spilled som water on the floor and when I wiped it up the paper towel was brown. with dirt. Also the pullout sofa was too small for 2 children and wass not clean. |

Carpet could use a cleaning and the linens were questionable. but the unit served its purpose and the family had a great time.
