This villa offers WIRELESS INTERNET, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, full size kitchen, living and dining area are combined. Additional bedding for this unit includes a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and also two bunk beds in the hallway between the bedroom and living room which are ideal for small children. There is a balcony located off the living room which offers a nice oceanfront view. You?ll find Ocean Dunes located on the south end of the island, along South Forest Beach Drive, a short distance from Coligny Plaza. Ocean Dunes is an oceanfront property that is situated about 70 yards from the ocean. The amenities would include an oceanfront pool and also baby pool, tennis courts are available for guest use located across the street from the property, and complimentary access to the Player's Club for use of their indoor heated pool as well as their fitness center.**Call for daily rates & availability, some restrictions may apply**

We had an amazing time and the staff of vacation time of Hilton Head are extremely polite and make checking in and out a breeze. The property has a nice area of grass allowing the kids to play when not at the beach. It is my second time visiting this property and feel it would be a waste to stay anywhere but here! I am not one for posts so I assure you my stay here was very pleasant. Highly recommended! |

The only other was we did not have detergent that worked for the dishwasher. I enjoyed spending time with my family and did these problems were not a bother during my stay. This unit's balcony faces the beach and it is right at the top of the stairs that lead down to the beach, couldn't ask for a better location. I did make some suggestions at the checkout desk when we left. There was some minor maintance problems (only one TV remote that would work for both TV's and the overhead fan in the bath wobbled a good bit). This is a nice unit and I will be renting it again, but it could use a furniture update. The couch in the sitting area is kinda hard to get up off of (cushions sag a bit) and the chest of drawers in the bedroom sags in the center and has one drawer that has completely fallen apart. These things are easily overlooked by myself, but some of your other guests may not think this unit is up to your normal standards. I have stayed in other 2 bedroom units at Ocean Dunes and found them to be in great shape all around! See you next year! |

Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 We began vacationing here in 1971 when it was the Adventure Inn, and during the 41 years since, have been amazed at how this property has continuously been upgraded and remains the best value on the island. Though not luxurious, it is modern, clean, comfortable, and the 4th. floor oceanfront units of the Ocean Dunes building have the best ocean view of anything in the area. A wonderful family atmosphere with green grass, shade trees, charcoal grills, pool and the beach, which incidently, is one of the widest and safest in the country. |

When they say an unobstructed view from the balconey they really mean it. It was beautiful. The room was stocked with everything you need just bring your clothes and you will be set. My family and I will definitely be staying here again. Also working with Vacation Time was so easy and there were no worries. If you are a clean freak like me you may want to bring your own sheets, that was my only compliant that the sheets on the bed were dirty, thank goodness we had our own. This didn't stop us from having fun. Stay here it was well worth it! |

Condition good, but elevator needs upgraded...faster and air. Management needs to get a handle on stopping the inconsiderate guests who put luggage carts in their room on Friday nights and hold hostage so most else have to do without. Also, large trucks and SUVs should be made to park in overflow as it is dangerous in smaller spots closer to building. There should be no excuses ... management can fix these two basic issues and put teeth in it so those without consideration for other guests pay the penalty. Thank you |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 When we checked in and given the keys to our first condo which we had booked several weeks prior we went to our condo to find another family in it, we then had to turn around and go back to the office to be put somewhere else, we had never seen pics. of and just took their word that it was nice. I spend a lot of time looking for the perfect condo so we were very nervous about this and it was right at the office closing time. The office did take care of the problem and we were put in a condo that we were ok with and had great views but we should of never had to go through this. After driving 12 hours to walk into a condo w/ another family in to then have to turn around and go back to the office was not very nice at all. The workers in the office put us in this unit but we did feel we didn't have much say about where they put us. We were given the key and told we were moved to a different building....we were never asked if this was ok or to check it out and let them know if we are not happy. It did turn out to be ok. The unit was overall clean, cutely decorated, and great view, I do believe the view was better than what we orig. had booked which was a bonus! The sleeper sofa in this unit I am not sure if it is advertised to be used since I never looked at it before, but if it is that definately needs to be removed, we tried to open it up for my daughter who is very tall and the bunks didn't give her much room and the mattress was horrible we quickly closed it up. The springs were poked out something awful! The outlets in the bathroom were loose and needed tightened we had a hard time using it everything would fall out of the plug in when using it. The sink would never get cold water and the water pressure in this unit was bad, the sink would make a noise when the water was turned out. These were minor issues bec. we did enjoy this unit and view and would stay in it again. We just wish the issue w/ the first condo would not have happened. |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 Paula and I actually stayed in Room 408 ... my brother Mike stayed in 406, which was the way the keys were given to us ... we both liked our units. We found them near perfect for our needs with one exception. Paula is a neat freak and would have liked a broom in the room to clean up an messes or sand we inadvertently brought from the beach. Also, think all units should have hair dryers ... we got one from the front office and shared between the two rooms ... other than that, it was terrific. We are already considering coming back next year. |
