Had a great time!
Angela G. from San Angelo, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 Great room, just a minute walk through the dunes to the beach! Big deep pool, fun for all ages! Will definitely stay again in the future!
Misty T. from Clifton, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2015 Price was good, the distance to beach was good, the pool area was good, the only thing we could say is the beds were not the most comfy thing the furniture was softer than the beds and the kitchen didn't have enough pans or pots. Other than that it was a great stay.
A guest from Boerne, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2015 TV needs to be replaced, was super hard to turn on. Bathroom door was hard to shut. It is an old condo in need of some updates. The complex has a great location. We enjoyed our stay.
A guest from Rhome, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2015 The pool was great. The office staff for complex was great. The room for the price was not so great. We've paid less in Alabama and Florida for a much nicer bigger condo unit. Very outdated, not clean, drain in tub didn't drain well, dirty dishes in cabinets. And based on condo number 27, condo was not located where the others with condo numbers in the 20s were located. Completely different building around the back of complex.
Steven S. from San Antonio, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 Worst vacation! Do not stay here. We stayed in the Bright Spot (SIV27). We were hoping for a nice family vacation and were majorly disappointed. The room was old and not as nice as it was in pictures, but clean enough. The biggest problem was the party that went on right outside our window until about 2 am. Our entire family was woken up both nights of our stay. The language was completely disgusting, the smell of marijuana that filled the air all hours of the day was completely unacceptable, and bringing young children to the pool with loud, seemingly drunk/stoned young guests was a nightmare. This condo village is not family friendly and does not seem to have any one in charge. The rules we were given stated that no loud noise or parties were acceptable outside after 10 pm. There is no one in the office, so who is supposed to control this? This rental was booked through Port A Escapes. I emailed them the first night to see if there was anything that could be done and they never responded to me. Do not waste your time or money.
A guest from Midland, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2014 My daughter and grand-daughter came to visit us.We have a rental for a year 2 doors down while we help our other daughter with our new restaurant Drop Anchor. It is a great location and the property management is nice.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2014 The room was clean and exactly what we expected. We had a problem getting the key out the lock box because the combination was wrong, thankfully we felt the tumbler give on the last number. Except for a few minor problems, such as the kitchen lights power not working for a last half of our stay and the internet not working when we were told that it would be, I say that it was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the picnic table, bbq pit, and pool as well. We would definitely stay here again.
Reviewed by: JESSICA M. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 Honestly, the property was not as nice as it looked in the pictures. The decor was outdated, but we didn't mind because we weren't in the room much. It is not beachfront, but it's close to the beach. Parking was at times difficult. The rooms were clean, and well maintained.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 Overall our experience with this rental was good. There were a few things at the property that needed work (inside the unit). The pool/pool area was nice. Customer service at the actual location could use some work.
Reviewed by: Julie H. recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2014 Plenty of space in a comfortable one room efficiency. Clean. Needs updating on many of the furnishings and replacement of carpet.
Jennifer B. from San Antonio, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2014 We have rented from Port A Escapes in the past and have always had great experiences. Very clean and each rental has provided everything you need. Home away from Home. I will continue to rent from Port A Escapes everytime we go to the beach.
A guest from New Braunfels, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2013 Overall a good experience. Would have liked a back porch but that's my fault for not doing better research. Also late check in was a little confusing and location of the lock box with the key wasn't really explained well. The lock box was on a whole separate property from the condo. The woman who answered the phone was very kind and did a good job of explaining where the lock box was.
A guest from Alvin, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2013 The staff was professional, but not warm. The property had good access to the beach, although the concrete walkway was in pretty bad shape. The rooms were reasonably clean, although the plumbing had a leak and most of the furniture was old and worn. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. I feel the room price ($125/night plus $100 in misc fees) was way overpriced for the room we got and the time being during off season. We were given SIV 27, which was not between #25 and #29 (it almost seemed like someone was playing a joke on us), no, we had to circle the property and finally found it in the main building between the laundry room and #14. We had no porch, no view; it was probably the worst condo on the property. I wouldn't recommend this location given the price vs quality. I won't be staying here again, and probably won't be using Port A Escapes again.
Maria N. from SA, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 My family has every year return to stay at this location and we loved it, it's clean and now it has a laundry room which it was great to wash wet beach towels. The only thing that we didn't like on this visit is that our broom was broken and that our restroom seemed to have had a leak and the floor was stained green and brown around the toilet and along the tub also that our can opener was broken !!
A guest from Arlington, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 Everything was awesome...the price, the location, the amenities. We did run out of trash bags (we only had the one in the basket) but we made do with grocery bags. I'm sure we could have gotten more from management but we didn't feel it was that big of a deal. Booking the condo online was very easy and staff was very friendly. We have already recommended this property to lots of friends.
A guest from Corpus Christi, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2013 We were anxiously awaiting our stay in Port A and the Sea Isle Village, outside the property grounds are clean, however the unit we stayed in did not warrant the rate. The condo was very dated, the nicest thing in the condo were the sofas. The kitchen table chairs were torn and dirty, the beds were very old and the restroom although it was very clean had old fixtures and the flooring was also very dingy looking. Let me say the unit smelled very clean and fresh, but seriously- for what you pay you could at least update or replace the beds and maybe a fresh coat of pain in the restroom along with a new sink & vanity. I felt like for having a property management company, you would warrant having a much nicer facility to stay in, thank God we only slept there, our family stayed at a nearby facility so we only showered & slept in our condo.
Tena K. from San Angelo, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 Parking was difficult Not a lot of roomif you had a big vehicle The room was very clean. I wouldrecommend Sea Isle to my friends.
Donald B. from Helotes, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 Kids first beach vacation and it was a blast. The condos are a 3 minute walk from the beach and the restaurants are great. Already planning our next trip back!!!
Roger G. from Canyon Lake, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 We were very disappointed in our accommodations and in the lack of information provided us concerning where we should check-in and by what time. Some of unit #27 was clean(living room and bathroom), but the kitchen was filthy. All the dishes had to be washed before we could use them(they had a dirty film on them and/or were coated with dried food). The coffee maker had dried coffee grounds in the filter basket. When we first entered the unit, there was a very stale and putrid odor. All of the kitchen drawers had roaches in them, mostly dead but a few live ones. Overall, our stay at Sea Isle was the first bad stay there since we started coming there as a family since 1978.
Steven R. from San Antonio, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 My wife and friends have been staying at the Sea Isle since 1992. At least 2-3 times per year and very happy. Since they have discontinued the maid service, we will not be staying there anymore. It's very inconvenient to be on vacation and have to do coin wash and dry or bring so many towels/linen. We always looked forward to the happy maid in the morning catering to our towels and needs. If you bring maid service back in, I would appreciate a call at. Otherwise you have lost us. Thank-you! Sincerely,Steve and Karen Rodman
A guest from Pleasanton, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2012 I have this complaint. Checking at 4pm is just not good. If you take a day off, then the day is gone before you can get checked in. And going to the beach or shopping is not the answer. You can not drag around a car load of "things" much less a boat. So I believe this needs to be changed. Hotel check in is 2pm so hire more help. And check out is 11am so your are paying for less than 24hrs.
David S. from New Braunfels, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 We decided to rent a condo instead of hotel room this stay...disappointing..the condo smelled of mold and cigarettes...coffee carafe was broken..killed a water bug in room..(no biggie there, this is South Texas) but then there were roaches climbing up the walls..disgusting...we didn`t spend much time in room..won`t stay at this condo again...also, we were suppose to have a patio that over looked the pool..but didn`t get it..that condo was next door..basically the place was a dump..pix on internet are misleading..
A guest from Helotes, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2012 We love the Sea Isle Village, we've stayed in other units. Unit #27 wasn't like the others, it smelled old and dusty, had old furniture and the beds were uncomfortable. DO stay at the Sea Isle Village, DON'T stay in unit #27.
Shirley H. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2012 THE RENTAL MADE THE VACA MORE RELAXING THAN A HOTEL. ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT THERE WEREN'T MORE BATH TOWELS FOR A 6 NIGHT STAY. LAUNDRY FACILITY WAS EXPENSIVE AND NOT WELL MAINTAINED. POOL WAS GREAT AND LOCATION TO BEACH WAS TOO!
