Joseph C. from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 Everything was well managed, the beach was a 15 minute walk away, a nice deck with a beach view. I would recommend bringing a Ethernet cord since the wifi is pretty low, the office provided one for us. I would recommend it and stay again.
A guest from Temple, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2016 3 of my Christian friends and myself wanted to get away for a little spiritual retreat. The Sea Isle Village was the perfect place. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the beach from our nice size balcony. The beach was a short walk from our room and the pool was nice a clean. This property was close to everything. I definitely will stay here again.
A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2016 We stayed in #26 and the condo was decorated so cute and was extremely clean. The grounds were well kept, the pool was very clean and large, and the kids play set was AMAZING! My only complaint is the beach access is not wood all the way and you have to climb a sand mountain to get to the water. It was difficult for us with a cooler and other beach equipment. We would definitely rent here again!
A guest from Vickery, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 WONDERFUL stay! Fantastic locationas WE could walk right down to the beach AND rinse our sandy feet off with your outdoor shower. Lovely, clean, comfortable condo LOOKING out on a truly beautiful swimming pool. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommend Sea Isle Village for an outstanding vacation rental!
Michael S. from Claremore, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2015 Rental was very clean and tidy. Shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We had a great time. Pool was really nice too! The air conditioner did have to be fixed while we were there, but they took care of it super fast.
shirley h. from tomball, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 We really liked this little condo except for the little roaches. Saw about 10 German cockroaches over a period of 6 days. Also, there was no dishwasher soap, so we washed everything by hand.Otherwise, condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. Was very clean other than the roaches.
Reviewed by: A guest does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 My fiancé and I really enjoyed the view. The place is older but quaint.I had to kill a few roaches during my stay and this created a problem, because my fiancé has an extreme fear of roaches in particular.
A guest from San Antonio, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 My husband and I had been going to Port Aransas since the 1970's and have stayed at Sea Isle Village many times. We have not been there in about 8 years and were amazed at the changes. We did not like the fact that we had to trek out to a rental company to pickup the keys to the unit and trek back again to return them!! We always dealt directly with the office personnel at Sea Isle Village and had no problems. We did enjoy the unit, the owners have decorated it very nicely. Although, the toilet had a problem and was reported to the rental company. However, I really do think the unit was entirely overpriced!, but I guess that's the way PA has become now. I wish that Sea Isle Village would do something about the walkway down to the beach...I'm 68 and in fairly good physical condition, but walking over that sandy hill and back near gave me a heart attack, I had to grab on to the vegetation to make it over the hill. I see other condos have more user friendly walkways and wonder why Sea Isle cannot. We enjoyed our stay, but will probably book somewhere else in the future.
A guest from San Antonio, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 Spent 2 nights at SIV26 in Port A. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach, with restaurants nearby. Condo was neat, tidy and had everything one could need.
Gary W. from Shelby Township, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in March, 2015 Absolutely fantastic! Property and grounds taken care very good by Alfredo and the staff at SIV was just great! Looking forward to returning next year
A guest from St Jerome, Quebeck recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in December, 2014 The unit waw great. Beautifully decorated. Just entering it made me feel "on vacations" :)I would go back any time
Dan G. from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 the rental experience overall was ok from the time I called to get information and to get all the documents signed the process went by very quickly I kind of got the feeling that I was being rushed but when I arrived the receptionist greeted me well and answered my questions that I didn't get to ask when I first called the rental unit was clean and very well decorated we really enjoyed the view from the patio of the ocean the only problems to unit had were ceiling tiles that had to be replaced the toilet will not flush well because of water pressure and the shower also had no pressure which was hard to rinse off soap taking a shower
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Overall the experience was very good. Well maintained and conveniently located condo near both beach and town. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The swimming pool on the property was very nice and well maintained. We had a nice view of the gulf from our balcony (although the balconies were divided only by a waist high wooden fence). A few areas that could use improvement: mattresses were poor quality, sheets were stained, the remote for the TV didn't work, window blinds were plastic so they did not block the bright morning sun. With improvements in these area, we would give it a rating of five without a doubt.
Shirley M. from Austin, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 We realy enjoyed our stay at SIV26. The room was very comfortable and cozy. We will be coming back. SIV is my favorite place to stay.We will be back.
CHARLES D. from Canyon, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2014 Very relaxing. Unit was very nice, very comfortable considering just one room. Next time we will look for larger space. Overall we were very happy.
Yvonne C. from Baytown, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 Loved this condo! The only thing I wished had been different is the pool. Wished it had been heated as the weather was not cooperating with our vacation.
Property Manager Response: Response from Port Aransas Escapes We appreciate your review! Come back again soon, the weather has been great! Port A Escapes
Leona F. from San Antonio, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 We stayed at SIV July 2012 and arrived in Port A around 1 pm. I called and was told our room was not ready. But was told I would be called when the room was ready. Never got a call. Finally went by the office at 3 pm (after killing time for 2 hrs.) and given the key. For this visit (Aug 2013)I told the office we would not be in Port A before their 6 pm office closure when I made the reservations. Was told to call the day of our arrival to let them know we would be late so they could set up a lock box. Called that afternoon and was told to call around 5:30 to let them know how far out we were. At that time was told they would leave the key under the door mat. When we walked into the room, a blind was broke and off the window. So I had a room with a bare window. I found an extra sheet to put up to cover the window. We stopped at the office the next morning to let them know about the broken blind and a broken chair on the deck. He knew where we staying since I had asked about a parking permit. But he never asked my name or what room we were staying in. Just told we would not be charged for any damage. When we returned the keys for check out, I again told the woman behind the counter about the broken blind and chair. She just said OK. Never asked my name or where we were staying. $150+ a night is a lot when I have to take steps to cover a bare window so I will have privacy. Not having room service and having to take out the trash is not what I consider good customer service. But the room was comfortable and nicely decorated. In the past we always stayed at SIV when we visited Port A (been coming for 40 years). In the future I will be looking into other places to stay for our next trip to Port A.
A guest from Kingwood, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 Met my family in Port A and stayed at this Unit at Sea Isle Village. Nice view from the balcony and short walk to the beach. The outside of property is a little older, but the inside is amazing and very nicely decorated. We only vacation during the week to avoid weekend crowds and had no noise problems. Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. Will definitely be back.
Clayton S. from Hoover, AL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 The property management was not consiterent of other guests when they made a decision to perform Maintenence on the room adjacent to ours. Maintenence workers were shouting profanity in the ceiling above our unit. We are now dealing with a 3 yr old whom is repeating what she heard. If that wasn't enough, one or the workers kicked the ceiling above our unit shower out and put my wife into a panic. The inconsiderate actions of these employees has affected my family and for that I will not be recommending this upon anyone else.
Tiffany G. from San Antonio, TEXAS recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 I rented this room for my husband, father, father in law, and cousin for Father's Day. The beds were quite small but they rotated sleeping on the couch. The room choice was an overall success.
A guest from Hickory Creek, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2013 Sea Isle Village is our favorite in Port A. Very close to the beach but also close enough to shopping or whatever. They have really been fixing this place up, it looks great.
A guest from South Haven, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 33 days in January, 2013 The condo we rented was beautiful and very cozy! The view was georgous! The property staff (Bobbie, Carolyn, & Billy) were very friendly and extremely accommodating. We also enjoyed the many activities that went on during our stay, as well as the tenants. The only negative aspect of our stay was the way the management company handled the rental arrangements. When we moved in, we were told, by the property manager, that we had first choice regarding renting our condo for next year. We said we needed to make sure I could handle the stairs. Two weeks later, we told her we did want the condo, but she informed me that the management company had already rented it to someone else. They also wanted a huge deposit, and payment for our entire stay the day we checked in. We do not feel that is appropriate! As a result, we do not wish to do business with Port Aransas Escapes in the future.
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 Very cheery, roomy, and comfortable. Yellow, white, and an overall Laura Ashley feel. This is a 2nd floor unit so you can see from the balcony over the dunes and grasses to the sea. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was very peaceful and quiet. I'm glad the two units on either side were vacant because if everyone's out on their balconies you're basically on the same balcony...if privacy is an issue. Two words of caution: if you're used to a king or queen bed, you'll find the double beds very "cozy". Also, there is a plastic sheath on the mattresses that's there for practical reasons I'm sure, i.e., in case of "liquids", but in spite of the bed pad above it it doesn't breathe at all and can get you kind of sweaty. We wound up taking the comforter off the spare bed and using it as an extra, cotton layer on top of the mattress. However, this was not a show-stopper and don't let it put you off. Just a suggested change for the owners. We'll be back!
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 Great location, nice view of the beach. Police were called on rowdy, drunk neighbors two doors down the first night we were there, but they were apparently asked to leave and did so the next day. Office lady was very apologetic. Blackout curtains would be a nice addition as the sun lights up the room very early in the morning making it hard to sleep in. A box or two of Kleenex and a hair dryer would be nice, too. Curious about $30.00 cleaning charge. When we arrived we were given a list of cleaning instructions to follow before departing. With a few minor changes, it could be ideal!
