Winter Texas guest A guest from Chiniak, Alaska recommends this property.
Stayed for 91 days in January, 2016 This was our third year at SIV 39 we like the location and unit. The owners updated some and we liked watching Netfliks on big screen. Everyone at SIV and Port A Escapes were friendly and very helpful. The pool is not heated so was not used much in cool weather, nice pool area though. We will be back next year.
Morris/HALL TRIP Kathleen M. from Austin, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in October, 2015 MY family and I have visited Sea Isle Village several times in the past andobviously have found it to be worth returning.
Beach trip to Port A A guest from Round Rock, Texas does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 We liked the condo we stayed in. It was clean and had plenty of space for us all. What we didn't like was that there is no good boardwalk and it doesn't really explain that before we come. For older people, climbing up and down a sand doon in the extreme heat can be taxing. The complex had residents as well as visitors so we felt like we were staying at an old apartment complex. It wasn't our favorite place for sure. And, checking in at the PortAEscapes office was a nightmare! Unorganized and personell at the desk were NOT kind and receiving of all the new people checking in. That was a first for the past they have been very nice and organized and if our room was ready they even gave us the key 30 minutes or an hour early. This time the lady was very adamant that she would not give anyone the key before 4:00pm which then cause alot of chaos with everyone showing up at the same time.
Family Vacation Shauna R. from Kirtland, NM recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 We loved the beach and the location of the unit. Wish there were more cleaning supplies, but other than that it was great!
Great rental Carrie H. from Fort smith, AR recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 The rental was just as described. Great lay out, well maintained, well stocked. It was a short walk to the beach and right by the people pool. The unit was just a few blocks from the tourist shops and restaurants. Overall a great stay and we will definitely stay here again.
Nice condo A guest from Del Rio, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in June, 2015 Older but everything worked. Plenty of room and privacy. The walk to the beach is not far. Swimming pool was very nice. Maybe this is the new norm for condo rentals but no towel service. I did not expect maid service but this is the first one I have rented that did not have towel service. There is a laundro-mat on site so not a big deal but be aware.
Port A Getaway Amy C. from Fulshear, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 We stayed in 'Shore Thing.' It was clean. Liked the table and rugs. Nice decor. Very stocked kitchen. Disappointed no washer or dryer in unit (didn't realize this beforehand). No wifi...would have been nice to have it. Couch not very comfortable to sit on. Need more towels.
great family trip Cheryl M. from Athens, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 We had a great family trip at SIV#39. It was on the ground floor which we needed for my mom, and adjacent to boardwalk to beach. It had a great patio facing the beach so we got nice ocean breezes every afternoon and lovely wave sounds. Clean and spacious condo near pool.
SIV 39 has NO WIFI!! sonia g. from San Antonio, TX does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2015 I would not stay at this condo again. There were many problems from big roaches to horrible smells in the cushions. But the worse was NO WIFI! And the condo was like a dead zone for service. On the positive side, the location was great. I would not stay at SIV 39 again.
Wonderful Shashank G. from Houston, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in April, 2015 I really liked the place. All the amenities were there. Just 5 mins walk from the beach. Well maintained. Only thing i dint like was there no door locks for few of the bedrooms and washrooms inside the beach house. Else everything was nice. Must visit.
AL G FROM SAN ANTONIO Al G. from San Antonio, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 This was the second Labor day Holiday we stay at the Sea Isle Condo. It is obvious the structure is very old, but it is very well maintained. The pool is also very nice and well maintained.. Only complaint is the parking,it is very tight and limited. However this will not keep us from coming back. We hope to rent the same unit next year.
Nice A guest from Hondo, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Over all good. A couple of things that could be worked on. Water pressure in hall bath was low for the showers. & towel bar on shower door was not attached & would come off ....the playground had mounds of ants that the kids had to watch for, so we did not go back to it. The rest was fine. Beds good and comfortable,
Summer vacation Christina F. from Dallas, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 We had a great time. The location and proximity to the beach and pool was perfect. But the community wifi connection was unacceptable. The grills were old and dirty. Disposal didn't work, there were switches on walls that controlled nothing.... Overall we enjoyed our stay.
PORT A 50TH BIRTHDAY WEEKEND PATRICIA K. from LEANDER, TEXAS recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 The condo was great. Very nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds, which was really nice. The only thing the unit is missing is a washer/dryer unit, which isn't a big deal for a weekend stay, but would be nice for a week-long stay.
trip to SEA ISLE VILLAGE. Velia A. from San Antonio, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 Excellent for 11 years we stay @ Sea Isle Village. .we always have a great time. We are going back ..enjoyed all of the days we spent there.
Sea Isle Condo Lori H. from Roswell, NM recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in May, 2014 The condo itself was very nice. It was clean and well decorated. Not too far from the beach. Although the hike over the hill is not for anyone who is faint of heart. I was a little disappointed in finding out that free wifi was advertised and then, upon arrival being told that our particular condo was one that did not have wifi. I was also not particularly happy going to the pool at 11:00 a.m. and being told by the pool cleaner that it would be closed for 30 minutes for cleaning (when, in fact, was closed closer to an hour). I believe the pool could have been cleaned outside pool hours.
we all loved it we would rent it again family had a great time Rogelio R. from San Antonio, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in April, 2014 the whole family enjoyed it and they would like to rent it again in the future so everything was great thank you escape and staff
Very Nice Margaret N. from Swatara, Minnesota recommends this property.
Stayed for 31 days in March, 2014 We did enjoy our stay in unit #39. Very adequate for our needs. Warm and cozy. Would have liked a better broom or light vaccumn cleaner, but made use of what was there. Unit is very well taken care of.
Not bad A guest from San Antonio, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 Very clean, well-equiped, great location. No view. However, the Jack & Jill shower didn't work which voided the use of reserving a 2 bath condo for 5 people.
Great location right on the beach A guest from Austin, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 We loved our three bedroom condo. It was nicely furnished, well equipped and right at the start of the trail to the beach. We we able to walk or a make a quick around the block trip to the beAch with our truck. The beach has parking and the City keeps it relatively clean. This is the perfect place for families with you g children to come. We were not happy with the condo owner's management company. Next time I'll call Carolyn at the Sea Isle Village direct.
Shore Thing is a Sure Thing A guest from Tomball, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 Older property but overall in good repair. Met the maintenance man several times--always checking in with us to see if everyting was ok. Interior of the condo is very nicely furnished and the beds/linens were great. everything in perfect working order except for a sluggish bathroom sink, which we reported. no big deal. The patio in the back was huge and very private. While you can't see the water, there was an unrestricted view of the dunes in every direction. Shower on the property and hose available, so easy to rinse off. The price was reasonable, and i would definitely stay again/recommend.
Great Place A guest from Dayton, OH recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 Stayed in Port A unit 39. It was a great space. Everything was nice and clean. There were lots of kitchen gadgets and dishes which were such a plus when cooking. Beach access was good, walking over dunes was easy. View from place was pretty too. Only confusing part was were to pick up key. Management company staff was very helpful.
Great Rental Steven P. from San Marcos, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in July, 2013 It was a wonderful stay. Have been going to Sea Island Village for over 20 years. It has always been nice. The only thing the unit could have used this year was a broom and dust pan. We look forward to seeing you next year.
Fabulous!!! Sharon W. from Waco, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in June, 2013 Port A Escapes was wonderful. Our condo was very nice with all the amenities included! Special thanks to Lisa for having the patience with my last minute changes and Patrick for handling the situation! Thank you

Fun time with the girls at sandfest in Port A staying at Sea Isle Susan E. from Bandera, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 We had a great time at Sandfest! We had 7 ladies and the 3 bedroom condo we rented at Sea Isle Village was perfect! Good access to the beach! Everything went well and the property management company was very helpful and friendly! Enjoyed the trip and will definitely be back! Thanks!
Great A guest from Boerne, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 We were pleased with everyrhing. This was out 22 year at Sea Isle. TV (2 of them didn't work) Management said they would be right over to correct them. Never came. Not a big deal except for the kids. Thanks for all. Hopefully see you next year.
Great Location # 39 Pamela F. from Dallas, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 I love the location. The condo was okay, but bath tub was filthy with bugs. There was only spoons, no forks, one knife, 4 televisions but only one remote worked. The rental co. charges $85.00 cleanup, but I can't see that this was done before our stay. Some of the sheets seemed to be slept on.
Sea Isle Village Experience A guest from Helotes, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 Our five grandchildren, my husband, and I really enjoyed our stay at Sea Isle Village. The condo was ideal for our vacation plans at the beach.
Food went bad due to fridge not working A guest from Bastrop, TX does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 The outside isn't the newest but that is all ok because when you walk inside it is pretty. Pool is nice. It is better to drive to beach then walk. Spent money on groceries and all cold items went bad because fridge did not work...Called and was only told to do this and that but nothing ever worked and our food and money went to waste. You think they would change it out or change our room but nothing. Even when checking out....the guy didn't seem to care. I will pay a little more next time and stay elsewhere.
A little frustrated A guest from Round Rock, TX does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 We've stayed at the Sea Isle Village for the last 4 years, but we are now considering looking into other locations for future visits to Port Aransas. There were several maintenance issues that we had to deal with as soon as we walked in... the back door didn't lock every time, a light bulb was out in the shower, the freezer in refridgerator didn't keep things very frozen, the cable had been unplugged to the TV in the front room (which took us a while to figure out), no extra toilet paper in the condo, the blinds were a mess in the living room and couldn't be opened or shut, even with a chord we were unable to access the internet from our room (and calling the office was no help at all - I suggest providing instructions for MAC and PC users). The majority of these issues were just little annoyances that could have been checked by the company between guests coming and going. Being unable to lock the back door was a major concern for some in my party. And of course there was the disgusting issue with the pool on Friday. Keep drunks out of the pool late at night! My biggest beef was that I never received the confirmation email that I was promised that guaranteed my stay. I panicked the day we were leaving because I never heard anything from the condo management company. I had no idea that not only did we need to pick up the key from an office not located on the premises, they closed at six. Had we known this earlier, we would have left for PA much sooner than we did. It all worked out, but the lack of communication on PA Escapes part was unprofessional.
Would not recommend A guest from Fredericksburg, TX does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 Fire ants and fleas inside condo, loud noise from above condo with dog barking. Overall not a great stay.
Good overall A guest from Ackerman, MS recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 This is an older property and could use some remodeling however it is in a good location and quiet. The only real problem we had was with the locks. There are three doors with two locks, for a total of six different locks. The keys we were issued on fit one of the six locks. The first time we went to the beach we bolted the front door and locked the back doors as we exited. We were locked out. The properties maintenance department or owners could not produce keys to the other locks, so a lock smith was called. It took about an hour to get back in. While we were waiting another family was locked out so this must be a general problem. After this incident, we only locked certain locks and exited the front door last. There was also a note on the air conditioner that warned of the possibility of it malfunctioning however, we had no problem with it. The unit above us had its cooling unit replaced while we were there. It is clean, it is in a good location yet, it is an older unit.
the checking in and out A guest from San Antonio, TX does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 We have been going to sea isle for many many years as a family and friends and friends vacation. The new process of checking in and out was not what we r used to. Having to drive to another location to check in and out is very stupid. Then there is no more maid service and the rates went up!!! We will look for other places to stay in the future.
