"Sunshine Shack" is a 2 bedroom 2 bath, first floor condo, in the heart of Port Aransas. The master bedroom offers a King size bed with an onsuite bathroom. The guest bedroom has 2 full beds and an additional bath located in the hall. The open concept livingroom, kitchen and dining area is spacious and airy. The kitchen is fully equipt with everything you will need to cook your catch of the day. Sea Isle Village is a wonderful community complete with an oversized pool, sports court and 2 playground areas for the kids. There is centrally located beach access. Property great; Port Aransas Escapes Bad Jim H. from Brigs, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 Port Aransas Escapes, the intermediary, was mostly inept. One employee could not give us directions to their office though we were on the same road as them and very close. Her directions to the office to get the keys had us leaving the island. Finally,another employee got us there. That employee then highlighted a map to the property,and was unwilling or unable to tell the address of the property. Following his highlighted map,we enterd teh office of the wrong condo rentals. That office straightened out our problem - no help from Port Aransas Escapes. The staff at the condo were most professional and helpful. We would like to stay there again, but we don't want to deal with Port A Escapes.Our home is near Briggs,Tx not Brigs, Tx. |

Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 I would simply suggest upgrading the tvs. The only one that worked was the one in the living room and with small children and teenagers, this really would have helped. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would probably probably stay there again in the future. |

Sunshine Shack Review #9 A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 Property is in a great location. Upon arrival I noticed a strong mildew smell. We noticed the AC had been leaking into the carpet because it was wet and this was more than likely causing the unpleasant smell. Other than that it was clean. They do a have a laundry room which I was not aware of until I asked another guest. |

Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 This isnt the nicest place in port aransas, but for the price you get everything you need for a beach weekend. Everything worked just fine, and it had two fold out couches for extra people. In the future, I wouldnt recommend carpet at the beach though, even though it was thin carpet. |

Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 It needs major attention- new paint, new doors, seems to have had water damage because wood is warped in many places. Futons had broken legs. A "facelift" would do wonders. Grass area around pool wsas full of stickers/grass burrs It was clean, access to beach was good, pool was maintained well |

Wouldn't stay again!!! Erin B. from Victoria, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 We rented a 2 bedroom condo because it was supposed to sleep 6. It was supposed to have one king bed in one room and 2 doubles in the other. We get there late Friday night only to discover that the room with the king bed only had a BOXSPRING ! So we had 6 people and it only slept 4 people. Port A Escapes said they would credit me, which they did after I made several phone calls to them asking when I was going to receive notice of a credit. We agreed on $100 credit but they only credited me $90. I have dealt with Port A Escapes before and never, ever had a problem. I do realize that they did not know the condo was lacking a bed but the cleaning people sure knew when they made the bed that was a boxspring sitting on the ground! |
