The second-story decks are cantilevered, and 2 spiral staircases ? one indoors, one out ? add a streamlined look to the décor. White is the dominant color indoors and out, creating a Mediterranean look when contrasted with the blue Atlantic Ocean. This is not your grandparents? beach house!
There are many, many wonderful views from Seascape, but your favorite is likely to be the upper deck overlooking the ocean. You?re above the palms and other tropical undergrowth of the dunes here, looking out on the cinnamon-colored sands and pure blue sea.
When it?s time to come indoors from sunbathing, birdwatching, or simply soaking in the blissful Flagler Beach weather, step into a huge, sleek living room with white tile, an enormous fireplace that keeps things cozy in winter, ultra-comfortable chrome and leather furniture, and a giant wall-mounted HDTV. Tom's Review Thomas L. from DeLand, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 The front door lock was a problem as it took forever to get the key to work. In other rentals, I have found an information book that lists instructions for things such as the hot tube controls, the sound system instructions and trash pick up info. Also, a vacuum would have been nice due to the amount of sand tracked into the house. The DVD player did not work and the one we used from the kids room, did not have a remote control so many functions (fast fwd, etc) were not available. Also, upon our arrival, we were unable to open the secure key box. It turned out that the one by the front door was for the realtor, and the one for renters was on the other side of the house. We had to call your office to find this out. Except for these small irritations, the rental was very nice. Beautiful Beach House in Flagler A guest from Lawrence, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 The house itself was beautiful, although it had some relatively minor issues, i.e. not all of the outlets worked, the balcony railing was pretty shaky, the switch to heat the hot tub stopped working, and some of the staples you usually expect to get at places like this weren't there, i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, and condiments. But the view was spectacular and if you're looking for a relaxing place to stay on the ocean this is it. Unexpected Visit.. James R H. from Kings Mountain, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 We had and unexpected visit from supposedly the lawn and garden man. Just raised the garage doors and helped himself in. We had dogs in the house and if the side door to the garage had been open and they would have ran out!! Maybe into the street or away. We were specifically told that NO ONE would enter with a 24 hr heads-up. So, very unhappy with this. Plus the owners had packages mailed to this address so we had to leave dinner early one night to meet them for the pickup. Kind of odd. The beach was very nice and we love the Java Joint down the road. The owners must have a dog and the smell got a bit powerful but other than that, it was great. Exquisite location A guest from Ann Anbor, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in December, 2012 This house is beautiful and it's location is suburb. We were there in the winter time but the children and our dog were playing on the beach all the time. They were ALONE on the beach. The living room has a beautiful view of the ocean and every day we saw dolphins jumping out of the water. One day we even saw a stingray jumping!! My husband and my son even caught some fish standing on the beach !! We went to Marineland, which is only 7 miles down the road, and swam with dolphins. We did a kayak trip, visited St. Augustine. Enough to do. The house itself is beautiful, very eighties with its mirror fireplace. The beds were very comfortable and the children loved both bedrooms downstairs. Me and my husband loved the white bedroom. You can see the house isn't new anymore.. Especially the kitchen. And the kitchen utilities were poor and not sufficient (no bottle opener, a few pans, a few plates..)Overall I would recommend this house to everyone for a quiet, beautiful ocean/beach holiday.
