Stay elsewhere A guest from Fort Worth, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 This place is good if you're only requirement is a bed across the dune from the beach. Clean yes. Port A Escapes advertised wireless internet, but there is no such thing there. We had to wait a day to go to the office to put down a deposit for a 2 ft long ethernet cord to plug into the internet. So much for doing a bit of work outside. We did not have any tv until 24 hours after our arrival. We had to take out our own trash, bring our own shampoo/conditioner and coffee. Loud children constantly screaming on the bottom floor (we were on the 2nd). We will be staying anywhere else the next time we go to the coast. |

Great trip overshadowed by a minor issue A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 Everyrhing was great but they were unable to get our cable working. I would have liked a small refund to compensate for this lack of amenity that was supposed to be included. The tv instructions were outdated and did not match the remote buttons either. Everyone around us had cable but for some reason, 2 separate people from the office were unable to get it working. |

Do not stay there A guest from san antonio, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2012 This mini room is in need of a complete remodel,the sink broke within the first 30 minutes, ceiling fan blade missing and it felt and looked like it was about to come crashing down at any moment. DVD player did not work the first night. If you needed towels or paper products you have to drive to the leasing office although they have a "management" office on the proberty. The location was nice, you could see the ocean from the deck and just walk across the dunes to get to the beach.I was charged a damage waiver fee, I suggested to the leasing office to use this fee to update the things that were already broken prior to my arrival. |

Stayed for 2 days in February, 2012 I have no complaints on the property as I've stayed there many times over many years. The property management company is a disaster. Need training in communication. Then I find I'm subject to MANY additional and/potential fees - poorly defined fees - after the deposit is paid. |
