"Happy Times" is a first floor 1 bedroom 1 bath condo in the heart of Port Aransas. The spacious bedroom offers 2 full size beds and has an onsuite bathroom. On site staff is very friendly and welcoming. A guest from San Antonio, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 The check in process seemed okay. We had stayed here several times before. Went to the front office, got our keys, and headed over to our room. Seems like no problems, so we dropped off our bags and headed to the beach. We took one key down to the beach with us And when we returned the key did not open the door. There was no one in the front office, so I called the emergency number on the door. I explained to the man who answered that we were locked outside and it was cold. He said to me "it's 29° where I am. How cold is it in South Texas?". He was not being polite. After several phone calls back and forth to the management staff someone showed up to open the door. She asked us where we got our keys from and we told her from the front office. She informed us that we had checked in wrong and that we should have gone to her office and that we were given the wrong keys by the on-site management. That seemed ridiculous since I had stayed there every year for several years. She then informed us that she should charge us $25 for letting us in the room but was being nice and waiving the fee. Huh, yes nice of her I suppose, to let us into the room that we had paid for. The rest of the stay was extremely pleasant. The on-site management staff even brought me a shovel so that I could dig up a wild cactus to take home. The woman who offered was Bobbi, and the maintenance man brought it over (Daniel, I think). I thought that that was extremely kind and way beyond the scope of their jobs. Bobby definitely improved the feeling of our stay, after a rocky start. Small actions like that from the on-site staff are what keeps us going back to Sea Isle every year. I hope we can actually make a second trip this year. |

Very Dissatisfied Customer from Mansfield, Tx. A guest from MANSFIELD, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 We were dissatisfied with property management, as soon as we got there the electricity was not working at all in the living room, TV was not working had a very upset Grandchild. Called and said they would send somone over and they never did that evening after 4 calls, next day called again they sent someone over finally around 10:30 am, the manager on location took an electrician said we would have to move all our belonging from the living room because they had to check all the plugs so we were to notify them when we were to be gone for about two hrs., that was crazy, we had all our personal belsongs, why would we allow them to go in while we were gone, we never called them we did without electricity and TV which ruined the whole vacation stay and only discounted 40.00 dollars from the bill. Very, Very unhappy customers we will never stay there again. |

Close tot he water as well as close to all the restaurants in town. The property was clean and pretty much what we were expecting after seeing the photos. Our only issues where that the beds were not very comfortable and the BBQ grills outside really needed to be replaced. |
