One snag... Maribel R. from Nampa, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 Everything was great until the gas sensor went off and the firemen had to come. Apparently there was something wrong with the exhaust of the floor heater... that took some time to diagnose and fix. Other than that snag the place is beautiful and was very comfortable. |

Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 While driving to Big Pine Lodge, we were concerned that it was too far away from town, but when we opened the front door, that didn't matter. The place was magnificent! It was the perfect size and while it was walking distance to town, it was a beautiful location with beautiful views, which were wonderful to take in from the deck - esp. at night with the fire place going. I would highly recommend Big Pine Lodge to anyone looking for a place to get away! (Oh, another great thing is there isn't a tv in every room!! Thank you!) |

Memorable stay at the Big Pine Lodge Reviewed by: Dave B. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2012 We and our extended family had a wonderful stay during our son's wedding, and the lodge proved to be a great staging area for our part of the wedding prep. The only down side of the location is that it is a bit far up the hill to be able to reach town by foot, but it was great to have the view to the lake through the trees. We forgot to mention when we checked out that we broke a wine glass during our stay, and replaced it w/ 3 champagne flutes. |

Magical Place for a Family Vacation A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in June, 2012 This is a beautiful home that really captures the McCall experience ... huge vaulted ceilings, lots of windows so there is lots of light and views to enjoy, and the wood floors and windows bring the outside into the house. Just a lovely place. My only complaint was that the bedroom windows do not have blinds/drapes. We have four young children and they woke every morning at 6am because of the early sunrise (our visit was in late June). This early start was not conducive to vacation living and made for some very cranky kids later in the day! We called the management company and they sent out a handyman who taped construction paper to the bedroom windows. Problem solved! And peace restored! |
