High Quality Location / Cheap House Scott W. from Los Angeles, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in November, 2015 The location & outside of the house was great. We were really excited for our stay. We quickly realized that the lack of enough warm water for showers was going to be a problem. Some of the rooms were drafty frigid air coming in from around some of the doors (we had to stuff it with towels to keep the cold air out). They had the floor heating fixed the 2nd day we arrived, which was ok. The staff I interacted with was great & very friendly. The lights on the stairs never worked (which made me nervous since the area was really dark at night & my older parents were in an upstairs bedroom). The towel racks easily came off. There wasn't enough blankets in the home. We couldn't get the sound system working, and the tv sound didn't go too loud, so watching a movie was difficult (we gave it up). The scenery was great and the wildlife that came right up to the window was outstanding. Overall the stay was great since we had our family there, but we all agreed that we wouldn't rent this home again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Services, LLC In the future should you need blankets or anything please contact our office as we would be happy to take of your needs. Also the light switch is in the closet for the stairs "very odd place"
Great vacation getaway!! Matthew K. from Boise, ID recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 Perfect house, perfect setting. We used the home as a family vacation spot. There was plenty of room for everyone to stay and a perfect downstairs bedroom for my grandmother who has difficulty using stairs. The setting was very peaceful and full of nature, we were close enough to downtown and the grocery store, but far enough from the bustling summer time McCall traffic. Perfect place will definitely stay again in the near future!!
Nice get-a-way for the family Brian T. from Eagle, ID recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 We went up here to relax and reflect after a memorial for my father. It was clean and cozy. The outdoor fireplace was a nice place to gather around and catch up with the family.
Great stay A guest from Nampa, ID recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 Walls are a little thin so there isn't a quiet place to get away in any of the rooms but it is a very spacious, beautiful and well equipped cabin. Only thing missing was a blender.
Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Services, LLC We will get a blender for the home. Thank you.
Excellent place!!! John L. from San Rafael, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in December, 2014 Really enjoyed our stay at the Big Pine Lodge. Plenty of room for 2 families of 4. No issues at all. Would definitely rent again!!!
Average at Best A guest from Meridian, ID does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 The cabin itself is quite nice. The furniture and necessities such as blankets, towels and dishes are cheap yard sale quality at best. The kitchen is very unorganized with pesticides stored in there as well. No instructions on anything to include the surround sound system. Overall for the price we expected better.
Summer Vacation A guest from Boise, Idaho recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 Terrific cabin for summer fun. Close to the lake, secluded enough where you don't feel cramped or hear the neighbors. Would highly reccomend this to any family looking for close proximity yet peaceful.

Stayed for 4 days in February, 2014 The only issue we have is the winter parking. We snowmobile and the drive way cannot accommodate our truck and trailer
Big Pine Lodge in August Joan C. from Vancover, WA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 A wonderful place to family stayed at the house while in McCall for a family reunion. Was perfect to have other family members stop by for a visit - we had a spontaneous BBQ one eve after the scenic boat cruise on Payette Lake.On suggestion would be to install a handrail on the front porch and in the garage for those of us with mobility issues. Thanks for the comfortable accommodations!
One snag... Maribel R. from Nampa, ID recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 Everything was great until the gas sensor went off and the firemen had to come. Apparently there was something wrong with the exhaust of the floor heater... that took some time to diagnose and fix. Other than that snag the place is beautiful and was very comfortable.
Great Big Pine Lodge Krista M. from Eagle, ID recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 While driving to Big Pine Lodge, we were concerned that it was too far away from town, but when we opened the front door, that didn't matter. The place was magnificent! It was the perfect size and while it was walking distance to town, it was a beautiful location with beautiful views, which were wonderful to take in from the deck - esp. at night with the fire place going. I would highly recommend Big Pine Lodge to anyone looking for a place to get away! (Oh, another great thing is there isn't a tv in every room!! Thank you!)

Stayed for 5 days in August, 2012 We and our extended family had a wonderful stay during our son's wedding, and the lodge proved to be a great staging area for our part of the wedding prep. The only down side of the location is that it is a bit far up the hill to be able to reach town by foot, but it was great to have the view to the lake through the trees. We forgot to mention when we checked out that we broke a wine glass during our stay, and replaced it w/ 3 champagne flutes.
Beautiful House Andrea H. from Portland, OR recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 We had a family get together at McCall and this house was super clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.
Magical Place for a Family Vacation A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 8 days in June, 2012 This is a beautiful home that really captures the McCall experience ... huge vaulted ceilings, lots of windows so there is lots of light and views to enjoy, and the wood floors and windows bring the outside into the house. Just a lovely place. My only complaint was that the bedroom windows do not have blinds/drapes. We have four young children and they woke every morning at 6am because of the early sunrise (our visit was in late June). This early start was not conducive to vacation living and made for some very cranky kids later in the day! We called the management company and they sent out a handyman who taped construction paper to the bedroom windows. Problem solved! And peace restored!
Loved Big Pine Lodge :) Danielle L. from Eagle, Idaho recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 Our family had a great time in McCall staying at Big Pine Lodge. After skiing and ice sculptures...the heated floors were my favorite part of the house.
