Vacation Apartment Rental Description:
Complimentary wi-fi and internet access is included. This residence has a queen bedroom with a comfortable brand new bed and a full marble bath/shower ensuite. Linens and towels are provided and a new stacked washer/dryer is stored in one of the bedroom's two closets. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances and dishes and flatware. Maid service can be arranged for an extra fee. Also included is complimentary access to the swimming pool, two gyms, sauna, steam room and hot tub, as well as underground secured gated parking. You can enjoy the view of downtown and the Hollywood Hills from your 7th floor balcony, including the historic ?Hollywood? sign.

Carpet was dirty, needed a paint job, kitchen was not as equipped as I'm used to. Unit faced the street and was very noisy with police cars and buses going by all night. |

I usually worry about cleanliness when it comes to staying in hotels and rental units but this place was amazingly clean!! GREAT view of the Hollywood sign, mountains and downtown from your balcony. Very good location, I appreciated the instuction book and it was quiet. If you are going to be in the L.A. area and need a place to stay, look no more for "The Beatrice" is where you wanna be!! Disappointing start, happy ending A guest from New York, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2013 Disappointed upon arrival to find a flimsy cheap futon instead of the sofa as pictured in the living room. In fact, I had called AE prior to my stay to check that there was a sofa and not a futon after seeing a previous guest's review about the futon. To AE's credit, they replaced the futon with a comfortable sofa the next day. The apartment was sparsely furnished IKEA style but had everything you'd need and convenient for me. The only negative was the low water pressure in the shower. Would not stay here again. |

The intro to the apt. by staff was very quick and not very in depth. But the apt. was lovely and served our needs perfect. Beatrice Apt - Good, But a Few Issues Reviewed by: Mike R. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2012 Hi, Overall, very good. The staff I dealt with, Ron, Karina, and Sue were amazing, and I thank them. A couple of things though. 1) You must use a laundry detergent with no fragrance. I and many others, are allergic to the fragrance in the detergent, as well as the dish washing soap, and the liquid soap in the bathrooms. I had to wash a set of sheets and towels with a non-fragrance detergent that I had to buy. And bought the same for the dish soap and soap for the bathrooms (Seventh Generation brand products are one of the best for this, and this, and other such brands can be found at Whole Foods.). 2) Should provide coffee filters for the coffee maker. I had to buy them and left a big supply there. 3) Need to leave extra garbage bags as there was only one. 4) the kitchen faucet seemed to leak a bit and there was water under the sink. 4) We left a few shirts in a drawer in the bedroom. Great everything (almost) A guest from Ottawa, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in October, 2012 As the title says. Loved every minute of it. Pros: location, price, amenities (internet worked great), clean, management company was great although a little slow at responding sometimes.Cons: Nothing really except dishwasher didn't work but I only used it on the last day. Also the picture online shows a nice sectional couch in the tv but unfortunately an ugly futon was there instead. No biggy. Better than staying at a hotel Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2012 Overall, we were happy with our stay at the Beatrice condo. The location was good. We took advantage of the proximity to the metro - only a 10 minute walk (although downhill there and uphill back) and the area felt safe enough. The condo was a nice size. We made good use of the in-unit laundry. The bathroom had nice finishes and was spacious. The kitchen was on the small side but had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the electric kettle. We enjoyed the balcony and its view of the Hollywood sign. We did have one major complaint: the furnishings. Of most significance to us, the photos online show a sectional couch, so we were quite surprised to instead find an extremely uncomfortable futon. Actually, there was not a comfortable seat in the place! The photos are misleading and should be changed to reflect the actual furnishings. The apartment was exactly the way it was shown on the website. It was very clean, and having a washer/dryer in house was a great way to save money. The pool area was beautiful and the gym was clean. The Beatrice is really a huge building so you might get lost trying to look for your apartment(i did). The only thing it lacked was a computer for those guests that are from out of town. I needed to go to kinkos to use their computers just to find restaurants and night clubs in and around the area. All and all the staff were amazing and i will definitely recommend this place to family and friends! I surely will come back to Los Angeles and stay at the Beatrice again! |

Great apartment with a great location. Michael J. from Oslo, recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2012 This apartment was perfect for us. It was close to everything we needed, with free parking in a great garage. It is a good size, has a beautiful swimming pool, a great gym and a view that stretches all the way to the hollywood sign. Internet was free, but only working about half of the time on our 3 devices (2 android cellphones/macbook). The only problem came as we were checking out and we didn't know where to deliver the keys. The reception refused to take them, as they are the keys of the owner. But they are needed to take the elevator/open the door to the stairs, so we were stuck without help. We found a nice guy who could help us down again (The man who works in the reception is really grumpy and not very helpful). I really wish we could have two keys as well, so we didn't have to go get eachother at the pool etc if one wanted to shop for instance. You are basically locked in everywhere without a key. All in all, a great stay. And if you're a fan of Eminem, he supposedly lives here too ;) |

The Location was perfect for me since i had business to do in downtown. The Apartment was very clean, the check-in smooth and the staff i had to deal with very friendly, helpful and professional. All facilities mentioned on the website are 100% true and satisfying. Have to mention that the washing machine and dryer was very convenient. The TV with it's channel and the Wifi working perfectly fine. I highly recommend it to anyone reading this. Would stay again if you compare what you would pay for a hotel per night. |

Stayed for 6 days in May, 2012 A comfortable apartment in a quiet (does anybody live there?) building with beautiful courtyards and a sizable swimming pool. The proximity to the heart of downtown LA was wonderful. My only major complaint is that there were no HOOKS on any of the doors, bathroom, bedroom, or anywhere. People need hooks in order to hang clothing, so please install these. Oh, and the instructions on operating the TV were useless. |

Stayed for 4 days in April, 2012 Management and Service were professional and personal - incredibly helpful upon check in to help customer get acclamated to the area.Apartment was incredible with all the amenities - good size as a place to just sleep if one is busy, or to also escape to when a day is needed to relax. The building's security and overall amenities added to the rich style of vacation one would expect in LA - lavish courtyards, great fitness center, quiet library, and theater rooms for groups.The location was also great - within walking distance to everything that is downtown, including the convention center, Staples Center, and LA Live. You pay renter's insurance, not a large deposit.Small things you should be aware of: picture is not where we stayed- 609 St. Paul Ave. Front of building says Pierro Apartments, Unit does not have mirror in bedroom, lacks hair dryer, bath mat, Kleenex tissue, metro transit buses run outside on Sixth, but freeway noise is not an issue.
