Reviewed by: Rolf & Rebekah F. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2016 Place was very clean and plenty of room for 8. Good location beautiful view - easy ski-in access /ski-out was flat in spots easy to get out alone but a little more work to tow my 5 year old. Only minor issue was the place could have used a few more kitchen washcloths, rags. No problems during our stay at all.
Carol F. from Carthage, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2015 The property was excellent for our family and we had a great time there. The views were excellent and the décor of the cabin was excellent.

Sander C. from Saint Louis, MO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2015 The duplex we stayed in was really more like a home. We had no idea we were connected to another unit! The place is decorated beautifully with lots of sleeping room and comfortable spaces. My one complaint is about the condition of the hot tub. We were all looking forward to hot tubbing daily but due to the poor condition of the unit, we were unable to or simply did not want to. The cover was so saturated with water that it was impossible to move without 2 people. Even then, it was awkward and unwieldy. The cover was split in half and the plastic coating was flaking off into the hot tub. When ever we moved the lid, more would flake off so there were pieces of plastic floating in the tub. 3 of the 4 headrests were missing as well. really disappointing. We did complain about it and they offered us 10% off our next stay. Unfortunately there are too many other options and we will avoid Black Diamond if we ever need to rent again for fear of the same situation.
Reviewed by: Ken F. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2015 we had a group of 4 people and this place was fabulous. Being able to put on & take off skiis right at the house was the best. The house has a very inviting & relaxing atmosphere...and the view from the family room is perfect! We had the hunrgy moose deliver all the food & beer before we arrived so walking into a stocked kitchen was a great feeling! The Moonlight Lodge is a short walk and had great staff at the bar & restaurant. It was very simple to call the Blackhats to shuttle us around the base area & town. Overall I would highly recommend this
Reviewed by: Frank B. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2015 Our group of 6 (3 Adults and 3 Teenagers) spent a week at Big Sky Jan 5-11 at 7B Big Sky Drive. One of the rare exceptions where a rental exceeds its description and its accompanying photos. No one in our group had anything negative to say about the house. Beautifully decorated, very well equipped, great cook wear, comfortable beds. Easy ski in and ski out with a groomed trail right out the back door down to Madison Base where we took the Sixshooter Lift which allows easy access down into the Lone Peak area,or to the Lone Tree Quad or Headwaters double ). Actually the snowcat grooming the trail behind the house even backed up almost to our backdoor. Another plus is that from the house it's less then 5 minute walk (left out of the driveway)to Moonlight Lodge (or two minutes by car).Everyone loved the skiing, the setting is spectacular, the view out the Living Room window seems endless, with great sunrises and moonrises every day. Can't wait to go back!
A guest from Mountain Brook, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2014 Very nice home with a great view. The home exceeded our expectations. There is a relatively short walk on a trail to Moonlight Lodge. This is a great place for Summer and we couldn't have asked for a better location to use as a home base for visiting Yellowstone, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and other activities.
A guest from Vancouver, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2014 We poured over maps and finally visited a "neighbor" to find out:1. How to get to Moonlight Lodge (up or down the road)2. How to use the ski in, ski out. It is quite complicated skiing back to the condo. We didn't even know where the trail to the base was - the ski out part - because the snow drift was so high. A detailed description would have been very helpful. Otherwise, the visit was perfect and we appreciated being able to stay on check out day until our shuttle came. Nancy Johnsen couldn't have been more helpful or patient answering all my many questions. Response from Black Diamond to a few minor problems was very quick.
Chris L. from Naperville, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 Tremendous house that is actually a duplex. We never heard a peep from the other side, nor saw anyone, other than their car in the parking spot on their side. Beautiful interior, well decorated, a home that you feel great about going back to and relaxing. Views are stunning. Lots of granite, stone, and wood. Each bedroom as its own bathroom, as well as a deck, or walk-out with slider doors. Well-stocked kitchen. Access to ski trail via lower master bedroom walk-out, which is also adjacent to the nice outdoor hot tub. On the Bootlegger ski trail, takes some navigating to ski-in the first time (they should provide some directions as its tricky and not well signed), and the ski-out route is only to the Six Shooter lift on the Moonlight Basin side, which requires a bit of poling in one flat spot (not horrible, but most homes are in a generally flatter, green run area). Management was very responsive on requests for fire starter and dish soap.I would return in a heartbeat, and highly recommend it to others.
A guest from Maple Grove, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 Overall we were very happy with our stay in Big Sky. The house was just as described and offered all the amenities that were expected. We had a wonderful ski vacation, and hope to do it again next year. Thanks!
Danielle W. from Grand Blanc, Michigan recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 The house was great. We had everything we needed. Having two master suites was perfect for our group!
