The Hollows Villa 8 Located on the North Side of Lake Travis, this villa is a vacation home and located in The Hollows Resort. Only 45 min from downtown Austin, this villa is perfect- with 3 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all cooking utensils and needs. Our villa also offers a balcony with lake view and Hill Country view! With three bedrooms, our villa sleeps 7 comfortably. Our guests enjoy The Hollows Beach Club with swimming pools, hot tubs, and a wading area for the little ones. Other activities include hiking, kayaking, boat rentals, horseshoes, hammock relaxing, sand volleyball, grilling pool side, or picking up a game of kickball with the kids on the huge lawn next to the pool.Lake Travis & Company is filled with Austin Locals who know the great places to eat, swim and area activities. The Hollows on North Shore - Villa 8 Reviewed by: Mary Ann M. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 Our Trip to Austin and the Hollows was perfect. The villa is the perfect location, perfectly clean with all the amenities that you need. The view from the deck was awesome. The funishings were of good quality for a 2nd home. The app download by the managment company was the perfect way to communicate, etc. My only drawback is with the builder of those units. The air-conditioning units should have NEVER been placed directly below the decks. This area is for relaxation, piece and quiteness, not to hear the loud roars of those units. I would never purchase a unit due to that fact. Another inconvenience is the location to any restaurant. 28-30 mile drive makes this area not convenient for vacationers. Otherwise the views and the lake remind me of the North with the hills and mountains. Thank you for the great, getaway week-end. Property Manager Response: Response from Lake Travis & Co. Great location but service sub-standard A guest from San Antonio, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 The good : 1. Location2. Despite all the cons mentioned below, we still managed to have a good time. The bad:1. No assigned parking. At night have to park in the cul-de-sac, a long walk from the condo. My friend got a parking ticket. 2. Called the emergency number at 11 pm to locate our apartment, got a call back after 12 hours. 3. Had to try the gate code on 4-5 different rooms since they did not mention the room number on the rental agreement. 4. The local agency is not aware about the facilities available in this complex. 5. The drought is so bad that the kayak rental was closed. |
