Pound-wise and penny-foolish A guest from St Augustine, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Beautiful tiled floors, new kitchen and bathrooms, great tile, pretty colors and art. So why not do the basics? This condo is beautiful on the outside but completely unfunctional. Mattresses and pillows are old and uncomfortable. Old, scarred-up 60s furniture in the master bedroom. No comfortable seating in the living room -- one cheap recliner, two very old wicker chairs that fall backwards, one sunken couch hidden under a cloth, one oversized cabana chair with cheap cushions and loaded with a dozen pillows, impossible to use. Poorly equipped tools in the kitchen -- couldn't even use the peeler. We were there for a week and found perhaps two dozen channels on the TV, some had sound, some had a picture, no guide, no cable. We called multiple times to Comcast and others to come fix the TV, but no one did. The internet was off more than it was on. The thermostat doesn't work correctly; when the temperature reached the desired heat, cold air began blowing through all the vents. The fogged patio door needs replacement. The closets were full of damp towels. If the owners bought new mattresses and good furniture, and stocked up on kitchen basics, this place would be stellar. The construction materials are great, the view of the lawn and pool is pleasing, you can even see some of the ocean from this back building. Take care of the basics. Summer House 137 A guest from Allenhurst, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Ocean front unit originally booked was changed but notice of change got posted in my junk mail, all other notices received normally. New unit had a "marvelous" view of the end of another building. Had to look around that building to even see the sand dunes. The unit was clean. There were no instructions on what was expected on check-out and the on site rental office claimed no knowledge of what was expected from the renting agency.No replies have been given to communications with the renting agency following check-out. Afraid I will not use this agency again.Rental agency apparently prefers to use Twitter and Facebook to communicate with customers. I am not a Facebook or Twitter user and do not intend to become a user simply to communicate with a rental agency. Simply internet (e-mail) communiques would be ideal, supplemented (if desired) with all the other social media venues. Great condo, farther from the beach than indicated and no wi-fi!! A guest from Nashville, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in July, 2012 We have rented from this company three years in a row and this was by far the best property we've rented as far as condition, what's available and how clean it was. The only two things that really frustrated us were that it wasn't on the beach as it leads on to be but it was a short walk so we got over that. Our biggest complaint was that it advertised working wi-fi and it's not even close. It's a community wi-fi and our signal never held longer than 5 minutes in only in one specific location in the condo and somedays we could not even get a signal. I called the office three times with no solution given. Spoke to the maintenance guy who told me to call the office. We were there four weeks!!! The fact that during that time no one solved it was really unacceptable especially when it's advertised that it works. They kept saying they'd call the owner. Nothing ever came of it. We went with this condo because of the wi-fi as we were working part time while there and it caused us a big problem. This will be the last time we rent with this company as the customer service regarding this issue was unacceptable. Overall - Great, but a few Minus Points Carmen B. from Cape Coral, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in April, 2012 Generally speaking the condo was great, and we really enjoyed our stay there. However, upon our arrival on Sat. afternoon we discovered that a. the screens on ALL windows and the slider to the patio were bent out of shape. b. the outdoor grill was filthy dirty (had never been cleaned in the longest time). c. all windows and the sliders to the patio had not been cleaned in ages. An immediate call to Vacation Pros brought immediate results. On the same day the grill and windows were cleaned to our satisfaction. The screens remained the way they were during our entire stay. Obviously V. P. couldn't get an OK from the owner to replace them. Too bad! That would have made the condo perfect. We love to sleep with the windows open. That wasn't possible (damaged screens = bugs get in). In addition, the A/C unit was so loud and noisy that it took a long time to get used to. Are we too picky? You might say so, but really, for the price we paid for this condo we expected everything to be perfect. You would too! nice unit well kept quiet Kevin D. from Whiting, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 Overall it was fine. Our only complaint was that aside from the one recliner in the living room, the other chair and the sofa were less then comfortable. The rental instructions on the key pickup need to be revised. We stopped at the rental office and found no key in the kiosk. Fortunately someone was still at the office. Had they not been there we would not have known it was in the lock box at the unit.I even called from the road to tell them we would be quite late and make sure that the key would be at the office. Minor point but after driving 11 hours guest don't need any surprises. Very clean, exactly as portrayed online Daniel F. from Waynesville, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 Rental was very clean and bright. Doors and windows were a little creepy and hard to operate, especially front door lock. Needs hooks for coats by front door. Video player ate one of our tapes. AC was not working but when called, management came right away and the young man was very professional. Fixed it right away. Did not care for the maintenance area located right next door, lots of smoking and gentlemen going in and out, golf carts coming and going out front. But, overall, a very nice unit. Roomy, clean, and mostly quiet.Just needs a little sprucing up on windows, sliding and front doors. When we saw the front door we cringed a bit, but were pleasantly surprised and relieved when we saw how nice and neat the inside of the unit was. I would recommend this to a friend.
