Just steps from the beach, our 3-level A Luna Sea house is wonderfully furnished with an emphasis on contemporary accents. From the big 3rd floor patio with sweeping ocean views to the large HDTV, it has everything you need for the perfect vacation!
Tiled and hardwood floors feel cool on hot "beach feet," and all the furnishings are stylish. Located on a quiet residential street leading directly down to beach, A Luna Sea has 2 large ocean views decks and tons of parking with a drive through garage. This is a place where you can breathe deeply, spread out, and relax!
The first area you'll see is the 1st floor with the laundry room, garage, shower and half bathroom. The 2nd floor features 2 full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It also features a large 2nd floor ocean view deck and a rear deck for sunset viewing.
The 3rd floor is dominated by an ultra-comfy sofa and chairs. Afternoon naps are pretty irresistible at A Luna Sea House! But if you do stay awake, be sure to catch the big game or watch your favorite movies on the 42-inch flat-screen HDTV with cable, DVD player. It also has a fireplace with an electric insert for the ambiance for renters to enjoy.
While the living room is soothing, the adjacent dining area and kitchen are bright and flooded with sunlight, thanks to sliding-glass doors and windows. The best part of A Luna Sea House is the outdoor 3rd floor deck with sweeping views of the ocean.!
The newly remodeled kitchen at A Luna Sea House is well-stocked and so pleasant to use. You'll find all the cookware, dishes, utensils, and gadgets you could ask for here, plus sparkling new full-size appliances, a walk-in pantry and cabinetry. Just pick up some groceries and you're good to make just about anything from a quick snack to Thanksgiving dinner! Great location in St. Augustine Judy W. from Daleville, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 A Luna Sea had everything we needed, a well-equipped kitchen, lots of beach toys, and even a bicycle. It was very close to the beach and my 6-yr-old liked the beach more than he did the very crowded Disney World. We were there at spring break and by 1 o'clock at Disney, he asked to go home. I wouldn't recommend it for somebody who has problems with stairs (it is three levels) but we were very happy with the house, even had a view of the beach. I gave it poor ratings in the cleanliness because there was a group of college kids before us that totally trashed the place. I felt sorry for the cleaning lady, did the best she could with vomit all over the place and beer bottles, but we were late being able to get in because of the mess. The maid could have been there till midnight cleaning up that mess, but she had to stop sometime. The trash was overflowing at the street and I had to get out there and clean it up after the raccoons got into it overnight. I would have thought the maid would tell the management that they needed to make an extra trash run and charged the previous renters. After all, it is in the contract that extra trash runs will be charged to the credit card. The trash men were not happy. They were fussing up a storm. I emailed the management about the trash, but never got a response, not even "Sorry you had to pick up somebody else's trash." I'm sure the cleanliness has been rectified and this is a house I would definitely rent again because of the location and setup. Also, there were not enough towels or wash rags for our party. We also couldn't get the tv to work. The garage needs a huge fan! It was a great house and very well taken care of! An okay stay Melissa H. from Leesburgh, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 The house was recently renovated, which made it more appealing; however, the grill was not in working order and we didn't get a new one until 5 days later (left us only 2 nights to use). The cleaning crew were very nice, but could of cleaned up better. The vacuum was full of dirt and they did not vacuum under the beds, so you had random dust balls floating across the room. Also, they were not finished at 3pm. They told me they would stay, but I chose to finish the laundry so they left.
