Poor Experience with Unit 305 at Surf Club II in Palm Coast A guest from Vestal, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in February, 2013 Upon arrival, we found unit was not clean especially kitchen and bath rooms.Kitchen counters had traces of sticky food, some silverware wad dirty w stains, dishes, pots and pans were dirty with food residue and stains. Inside of kitchen cabinets were not wiped clean. Bathrooms had mold residue especially in showers. Tile floors could have been washed better. Sliding door glass was very dirty including track which was black with debris. Deck furniture had a coating of film. We found some silverfish insects in lower kitchen cabinets and one black bug. Refrigerator had hair and crumbs inside. Freezer ice compartment was covered with mold. We contacted Vacation Rentals and the sent out 2 men to check and they emptied the ice maker, washed it and reset. We washed out refrigerator, all utensils and dishes we planned to use. Also washed out kitchen cabinets. Then we purchased bleach spray and kept spraying mold in bathrooms. The vacuum cleaner was filthy, beater brush was all clogged up and filter was clogged. We were very disappointed. Vacation rentals did credit us our cleaning fee but the could have done more. A great place to stay. A guest from Owensound, Ontario, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in March, 2012 We enjoyed our time at this rental. It was a nice condo, and very roomy as there were 4 of us staying there. The one thing that we did discover after speaking to a lot of other people, that we paid too much. Not a Good overall experience with Vacation Pros Brian R. from Mankin Sobat, VA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 29 days in February, 2012 On arrival- beds not changed, overall condition dirty, no pass at gate, no pool key, wifi not hooked up, lock box code not correct after spending about 2 weeks getting code,bags of owner trash had to be removed;vacuum had to be replaced,guests first night had to get a motel because only 2 beds eventually made up,no room in one closet because of owners stuff, did not hear good things about vacation rental pros, after 1st 3-4 days of chaos we were offered 2 days refund but it took most of the month to receive the credit, Vacation pros did nothing to take care of the lack of a pool key and paperwork at the gate for a pass. I did it myself by contacting owner and property mgr. The property was ok after cleaned but sofas and chair are not the most comfortable, Had to tighten knobs on 2 doors that were loose. Vacation pros did not do their job as far as making sure the facility was ready for arrival. In paperwork they gave a phone number that did not work for reduced golf rates and their quoted reduced rate was higher than that charged at the golf course. I could go on but I guess that's enough.
