Tropical landscaping and big blue skies surround you at Hibiscus 201-D, located on the second floor of a building overlooking one of 3 swimming pools. Step out onto our balcony and you not only glimpse the ocean, you see palm trees, sparkling water, and all the beauties of this first-class resort. The murmur of the ocean waves is your soundtrack as you gaze out at glorious St. Augustine Beach!
Our balcony has casual seating and a bar-style drinks table, making it a great place to watch the sun rise, enjoy cocktails after a busy day outdoors, and count the midnight stars. Because it's covered, you can enjoy it in any weather, and with our free wireless Internet service, you can even bring your phone or laptop out here to check your messages and update your Facebook status.
Just in through the sliding-glass doors of the balcony is our living room, with a comfy sectional couch, a big new HDTV with DVD player, and plenty of space for the whole group to unwind. love old St Augustin George and Tara P. from Clyde, NC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 This was our first time down to St Augustine and it is a beautiful spot. The white sand beaches were lovely and we found many great places to eat esp. in Old St Aug where we loved walking around. Our place had a beautiful pool but the hot tub worked intermittantly. Now the problems with our condo: it was generally not clean (dishes not cleaned properly, lipstick on glass, tubs not clean (found scum and hair), couch was broke, shower in small bathroom didn't work,instuctions for the internet were not correct, old coffee pot had old coffee and grounds in it, and finally it took a wk to get the dryer working so we were unable to use it all wk. The vac. pros and condo mgt were very responsive to remedy the problems and I would rent thru vac. pros again just not at this condo. Great location A guest from Palm Harbor, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 The condo is in spectacular location!!! The beach is amazing and is just a short 3 minute walk. The complex is nice and well maintained. We had an overall great experience. The condo is nice and generally well kept, could use some professional cleaning. The dishes didn't seem clean so we had to wash them before use. Not a big deal though. However, on our last night we returned home to find some very friendly giant palmetto bugs crawling around the kitchen. The dissappeared into the kitchen cabinet before we could catch them. Not cool. Made me double wash the dishes before use after seeing that. Also, directions should be proofread. The condo # was misspelled as 210-D on the directions we picked up with the keys so was a bit confusing. Also, no instructions on what to do with the keys at the end were provided. Tried to call the emergency number about 10 times (as well as left a message which no one returned by the way) to find out where to leave the keys when we left. Finally had to call the nice agent we rented the place from to help out. I guess emergency line took a day off for Labor Day as well :) Overall, great vacation spot though. shame A guest from Woodbury, NJ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 The pictures on the web site were dead on. The place was decorated nicely. But, there were bugs. Roachs, ants and palmetto bugs. We threw our luggage away for fear of bringing the bugs into our house when we got home. Management was non responsive. We called every day we were there and did not get a response until the night before we left. They may even give us our cleaning money back if approved by upper management after we spent most of the first night trying to debug. There were dropping on the counters, in the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen. Our daughters Cpap machine was invested with ants and has to be replaced. No offer from the management company other than seeing "if" they can waive the cleaning fee. The topper, I called the first night because there were no Beach towels as advertised and the thermostat was broken. No one responded for the thermostat and they delivered the beach towels in the late afternoon the day before we were leaving. Very disappointed for the lack of effort by the management company. I feel for the owners because the place could really be nice. Thank goodness for a nice beach or it would have been a disaster. living in paradise David F. from Fort Kent, ME recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in April, 2012 The hot tub jets did not work well at all, but they were hot. The pool was great, two very warm, one cool for those that like cool. Were awakened two nights in a row (4:30 am, 3:30 am) by apparently drunk partyers in the hot tubs. Great location on the beach! Our condo was not beach front, but was a very short walk on the board walk. If you are a really good tennis player, you will be disappointed with the one tennis court, not in good repair, but it was good enough for the two of us to bat the ball back and forth. The house keeper missed dirt under the couch and some grime on some kitchen cabinets, but overall, clean and in good repair, appliances and TV's worked great. Great to have a washer and dryer right in the unit. Very comfortable unit, nice furnishings. We shall definitely return!!! The nicest beach in FL, and we have been to a lot of them! Not at all a far drive from the sites to see and the incredibly beautiful Old St. Augustine city, a very quiet, clean city, but with many activities. This shall be our vacation destination for a few years until my wife gets all the historical sites taken in and we get our fill of fabulous body surfing. My wife has "St. Augustine on My Mind", on her mind, a great book that was in the unit to show one all the fabulous sites, she plans on buying her own copy (and she highly recommends it!)
