Bishop's Court: 5 BR Pool and Spa Home with Beautiful Conservation Views
This gorgeous home, known as Bishop's Court, is located in The Abbey at West Haven, one of the Orlando-area's most desired exclusive gated communities, just 7 miles from Walt Disney World, and right next to ChampionsGate - with two Greg Norman-designed golf courses, and home to the David Leadbetter Academy world headquarters.
The home overlooks a nature conversation area, with a large wetland offering wonderful views of the bird life from the pool and patio area, as well as the upstairs deck.
Bishop's Court sleeps 12 with 5 bedrooms, two with private bathrooms, a loft lounge with TV, and a sofa bed that sleeps two, and a balcony/deck providing the perfect breakfast area with glorious views over the conservation area.
The two master bedroom suites (one upstairs and one downstiars) each offer a king-size bed. Both master bathrooms have large corner, garden-style tubs and spacious walk-in showers.
The downstairs master bedroom has access to the lanai and pool via its patio doors. There is also a double bedroom with a queen size bed and two more bedrooms each with a set of twins.
All rooms are light and airy, but the living room/lounge is exceptional with its cathedral ceiling and access to the lanai and pool area through patio doors. It contains an entertainment unit with TV, DVD/CD player and films. The dining area abuts the kitchen with a breakfast bar and two bar stools. The dining table seats 8 comfortably and also has access to the lanai through a set of patio doors. All patio doors into the pool area have child alarms. The kitchen has all amenities including a teapot.
The utility area has a large washer and dryer with a door to the air-conditioned double garage.
Outside a large covered pool with extended decking has space for loungers all round, so the sun worshipper can maximize their tan! There is also a Jacuzzi and a cabana bath and shower. The large patio table creates an outdoor dining area with chairs and loungers for 12.

March 2016 Bishop's Court
Eli E. from Ottawa, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in February, 2016 This was a wonderful house for our extended family (3 households) to come together and enjoy Florida. Plenty of space in the house, great for meals outside @ poolside, lounging around the pool, going for walks in the evening. There is a nice big field behind the houses on Windor Pl, and a great kids park on Alfani St. We chose to buy groceries and eat most of our meals at home - Anything you need is only a couple minutes drive away (Publix one direction, Walmart & Target the other direction). The barbecue rental (@ )was super convenient, and we used it everyday. The property was clean, and well laid out (although it could use an upgrade to the carpets and kitchen - it was still fine), and there was ongoing construction noise across the conservation pond which was a bit disappointing - the price was good and overall the house was great! With the Canadian dollar so low, management even lowered the cost of our stay to keep our business.Management was extremely helpful anytime I called them before arrival and the pool was well maintained during our stay.We didn't attend Disney, however we did a good deal of shopping at the outlets in and around Orlando, and took a daytrip to the beach in Clearwater (I would avoid driving during peak rush hour times!). If you have young kids or a large family, this house is perfect. If you are looking for a quiet, safe and convenient location - this neighbourhood is perfect. We will likely return another time in the future, and I would recommend this company and house to anyone travelling to the Orlando area.
Property Manager Response: Response from Florida Spirit Vacation Homes Thanks for staying with us and recommending us. We hope to see you again soon!
Diana H. from West Des Moines, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 Nice home - however it was advertised as 5.5 baths but only had 4.5 baths unless one was locked. Furniture, carpet, linolium was worn and needs upgraded. Pool was awesome and location was great. Would use again but probably a different residence.
A guest from Silver Spring, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 This house was so nice, very clean and the pool was great! My family loved this house and it was only about 20 minutes from Universal Studios. The view out the back of the house to the pool and conservation area was wonderful...only drawback wish more privacy between houses...too close to neighbors pool...when they were outside came right over into our pool area...luckily they were not out there often. Otherwise, it was a fantastic house and would definitely stay again.
Scott P. from Louisville, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 Overall we were pleased with everything. We were told we could arrive at 4:00p.m. When we arrived at that time, the cleaning crew was still there. They had gotten a late start they said. Some of us waited outside in our vehicles while they finished cleaning the house, emptying trash, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom floors. Some of us began moving stuff in because it was too hot to wait outside. The cleaning truck was blocking the entrance to the garage so we couldn't unload or pull in the garage. The ceiling light in the living room was burned out, and the man said he would come and replace it, but never did.The swimming pool pump stopped and had tons of floating scum on the top. We had to call the maint. people and they came and got the pump running and the scum off the top.The drying quit working the day before we were to leave and much of our laundry didn't get done before our drive home to Ohio. No one came out the day we called or before we left the next morning. Lastly, we found red plastic cups behind night stands and cherreos in the carpet that were not ours. It was a nice stay, overall a nice home and a good time.
Robert T. from Orleans, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in April, 2012 We had a few issues with the house in the first couple of days but these were promptly resolved by Brian who was extremely professional & courteous. We enjoyed staying at Bishop's Court very much for our 2 week vacation.
Gustavo V. from Brasilia, DF recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in January, 2012 We are from Brazil and the experience of renting a home was essential for the well being of my family during our Disney visit. We are sure that there is not better option when traveling with kids. In our case, 2 kids (5 & 7 years of age). We rented the house with other two families and the size of the house was essential for our well being. We are sure that if we stayed at a hotel or resort we would not have the same comfort and privacy. Also, we had cooked our own food, avoiding eating unhealthy foods everyday at restaurants etc. The only problem was that we were explained that the house had five bedrooms (within two master suites with private bathrooms) when there was only two master suites with private bathrooms. This situation did not impair our stay. The house is really really nice!
