Vacation Home Rental Description:
Shangri-La is a lovely three-bedroom home, located in the orange-grove-bordered community of Westbury. It is a peaceful oasis, ideally set apart from the hustle and bustle of the Orlando theme parks, yet just minutes from all the major attractions.The lounge, kitchen and dining area are open-plan with cathedral ceiling, giving a light airy feel to the space. The villa has been furnished to a high standard throughout and ceiling fans complement the air conditioning. The fully fitted kitchen and breakfast area incorporate modern appliance and utensils, in case you decide to cook. There are plenty of cupboards for storing food and a large refrigerator/freezer is provided. The breakfast nook has a table with four chairs and with a large window to keep it bright and sunny. The large master suite has a king size bed, its own TV/VCR with cable access, walk-in closet, cathedral ceilings and patio doors with private access to the covered lanai - perfect for enjoying your morning morning coffee. A master bathroom is attached, featuring a garden tub and separate shower. There is a vanity unit with mirrors and spot-lighting.The second bedroom has a double bed and large closet The third bedroom features a set of twin beds. Both have convenient access to the second bathroom.The larger than average south-facing pool and spa have a screened enclosure. Swim, soak, or relax on the pool patio at the table in one of the chairs, or on one of the loungers provided.

Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Overall, this was an excellent experience - the home was well cared for and geographically suited to our needs for local golf and tourist trips to Orlando, the Daytona 500 and Cape Canaveral. One suggestion that would really help guests who are staying only a week - it would have been so much appreciated if there were more than a few days supplies (e.g. toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and tissues)available. In addition, there was no dishwashing soap or coffee filters. So, we had to shop and purchase larger amounts of items ($) than we needed for the week. These items could have been added to the cost of rental for a lesser amount across those who are renting. Also, a few good knives are needed in the kitchen. |

Wonderful Escape A guest from RENSSELAER, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 This is the best villa we have stayed in. We had some bad experiences with villas in the past but thankfully this villa was wonderful! It was so clean and spacious yet relaxing and comfortable at the same time. The location was very convenient, about 3-5 minutes away from I4 and many places to eat. We spent our days in Disney and it was so nice to come back to this comfortable home away from home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Our only complaint was the alarm on the doors to the patio. We were informed this is a law and I'm sure if a family was staying there with children this is an extreme benefit. As it was only my husband and I staying there I wish we could of turned the alarm off because we kept forgetting to push the button and accidentally set it off multiple times. That's my only complaint and it's very minor. We would stay there again in a heart beat! In fact next time we go to Disney I will try get this same villa again :) Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation! |

There were just a few little problems we had with our experience, nothing too major though. Firstly, there was no toilet paper the first day we arrived at the home. Secondly, there was glass on the pool deck that we had to clean up before anyone got injured. The jacuzzi was rather difficult to figure out how to use, and we never did get the light in the pool to turn on. The remote control in the bedroom didn't have a back to it, and the blender was broken. We just wanted to let you know about the two broken things so we weren't blamed for them. Overall, though, we were very satisfied with our stay. |
