sandpiper beachhouse Ron Yvonne D. from Farmington, WA recommends this property.
Stayed for 9 days in April, 2016 This is the most amazing home, we would buy it if it were for sale . the house is beautiful, well cared for, beds are comfy , view is very nice, falling asleep to the roar of the ocean, relaxing by the fireplace , walking to the beach, everything was perfect. we stayed nine days , we hated to leave. the kitchen is amazing, the only draw back was the internet service, but who needs it when your on vacation.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC Sandpiper Beach House does have wifi so not sure why you had issues with it. We are also on call 24/7 and open every day so next time please let us know and we will address the situation immediately. Thanks for the positive review.
Not satisfied.....did not like A guest from Chattaroy, Washington does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in September, 2015 Nice, big house with all the amenities.Lovely view of the ocean but far from the ocean have to go by car. We were there in September and paid the full amount of the rent and cleaning fee but after a month they take from us more money because they have not been able to wash out the stain on the blanket but for what we paid them? so much money ...They were supposed to call us the next day when we went to rent and to say about it but they do it in a month.
Beautiful home, extraordinary views A guest from Eugene, OR recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 The photos on this site don't do the home justice. If I could replace them with the photos I took, I would! A small pristine lake surrounded by trees is immediately below the home and beyond that is a panoramic view of beach and ocean. Stunning. The layout of this home is ideal for groups and family gatherings. The flexible layout allows for a variety of sleeping arrangements. I used the master suite on the third floor, a friend and her daughter shared the library bedroom and half bath on the main floor, and my daughter and two little boys used the downstairs area which included three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a terrific TV and entertainment area. It was wonderful having the little boys downstairs so that during naps and at bedtime we could be enjoying ourselves upstairs with no worry of awakening them. The kitchen is well laid out and amply supplied. A small deck off the kitchen area allowed for us to cook and socialize at the same time. Since there are no restaurants close (and since the house has a better view than any restaurant anyway) we prepared all our meals there. The service from Bayshore Rentals was impeccable. I was at the home alone for the first night and called them several times after my Friday afternoon arrival. For example, I was concerned about privacy in the luxurious spa tub since one of the windows was in direct view of a neighboring home. When I called they said that no one had ever had a concern about it before but, in spite of that, they were there immediately with a set of curtains and soon thereafter (after a trip to the store, I assume) they came back with suspension rods with which to hang the curtains. Now that's customer service. We also had to call about something on Saturday and the service man was there within 15 minutes. Really impressive.Everyone in our groups had a glorious time and enjoyed all the amenities of this incredible home. I give Sandpiper Beach House and Bayshore Rentals two th
GREAT STAY Dale E. from Dunlap, IL recommends this property.
Stayed for 11 days in July, 2015 This is one of the nicest houses you can rent on the coast of Oregon. Beautiful view of Hidden Lake, trees and Pacific ocean. The Bayshore Rental Company always does a great job in communicating and giving attention to any needs we may have. We have used them at least a dozen times in renting in this area. For a little thrill, go to Florence and ride the sand dune buggies. There are rides for the daring to the passive and you can see many neat sand formations. I would recommend this property to any relative or friend who travels in this area.

Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 We had an amazing stay at this home! We didn't expect such a beautiful home when going there! Upon arrival we were amazed at the beautiful views from every room! The home was perfect for our family and the ocean is just a few walking minutes away. Thank you for such great service! We want to be back very soon :)
family get together Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2014 Great accommodations. Could use a few more kitchen utensils. Walk to the beach with small children was not possible because of the long and steep return. Loved the laundry room with long counter for folding clothes. Property management people left key for.pickup which would habe been available to anyone.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC Thanks for the review. We have left the keys in that spot for 30 years and to this day nothing has been missing (we have closed circuit TV cameras on the key box). We will gladly put in more utensils. The walk to beach is several blocks, however, we do advertise that fact so it should be no surprise. Also it's what affords the home such a beautiful view.
Beautiful Home! Linda P. from Weatherford, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in July, 2014 Since I see my children and grandchildren only once or twice a year, a few years ago I started renting a beach house so we could all be together and enjoy the coast. The Sandpiper house is beautiful and very comfortable. While it is not right on the ocean, there are wonderful views of the small lake, big trees and the ocean from every room. Since the house is 3-level, there are several common areas, but lots of private space too. Lots of storage, a great laundry room, nice linens, beautiful functional kitchen. If anything is lacking, I guess it would be a large outdoor patio/deck space (it has a few small decks), which wasn't important to us. I highly recommend this lovely home.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC Thanks for your description. It's sometimes difficult to get this place rented but once we do guests always return.
Memorable Stay Linda G. from Cape Coral, FL recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in July, 2014 Wonderful location for our extended family reunion. Very well-kept nice and clean lots of space in room for us all to spread out. A beautiful view of coast from every room. We would live to come again!

Sandpiper beach house A guest from Torrance, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in December, 2013 Great house but hardly any water pressure. House is also not set up well for cooking or entertaining. No ice cream scoop. No pot big enough for pasta or soup making.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC Thanks for the suggestions. We will certainly add the large pot and an ice cream scoop. Not sure what else you are referring to as far as entertaining. We will also look into the water pressure. That's not been mentioned before.
Sandpiper Beach House - Great Getaway Home in Waldport A guest from Hillsboro, OR recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in November, 2013 It was the perfect place for our family to gather for the Thanksgiving holiday. We're already talking about our next get-together and using the home again.
Another positive experience with Bayshore Rentals A guest from Kodiak, AK does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 We stayed at the Sandpiper Beach House for a week with our two girls and two friends from Indiana. The house had an excellent layout for our group, since there were plenty of bathrooms and both an upstairs and downstairs living area. My main comment goes to the management company, Bayshore Rentals. This is the fourth time we have rented from them, and we continue to be pleased. They are not warm and fuzzy, but they take care of everything immediately in a professional manner. We might or might not rent this house another summer, but we will definitely rent another property in Waldport from Bayshore. The house has dramatic views from every living space. The house itself is an excellent choice if you want to cook serve meals to your family. The kitchen is slightly better equipped than the average rental in which I have stayed. It lacked only a larger cookpot (excluded probably because they quite reasonably do not want renters to cook crab in the house due to the bacteria, horrible stink, and high cross contamination risk.) There were only six of us, but the dinning room table would have seated 8 or 10.When they say that parking is limited to three cars, they mean it. There is no where for another cars to park.
Great Views A guest from Philomath, OR recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 We enjoyed the exceptional grand views and excellent layout of the common space on the main floor. Downstairs rooms were a bit cool. The walk to the beach is a pleasant 10 minutes. A very agreeable place.
Amazing sunsets A guest from Selma, OR recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in November, 2012 The house was very clean and comfortable. the architecture was nice, with plenty of natural light. the t.v. had a small chip in it, but it doesn't affect the experience one bit. All in all it was a really nice house that felt warm inside and made for a happy thanksgiving.

Stayed for 4 days in November, 2011 Had a wonderful time at Sandpiper - beautiful views, room to spread out, spacious kitchen to cook together in. The management was very helpful and responsive when we had a problem with the tv.The house was a bit far from the beach so sometimes we drove down the hill and parked at the beach access.A great property - thank you Bayshore!
Eagle's Nest Linda E. from Murnau, PG recommends this property.
Stayed for 8 days in September, 2011 Perfect condition, hilltop location much nobler than oceanfront, with fog view of bizarre trees, hanging moss and black moor waters, without fog panoramic ocean rollers, the sunsets. No traffic noise from Highway 101, worth the journey from Upper Bavaria!
Fantastic in every way Brian H. from Columbia, SC recommends this property.

Stayed for 2 days in May, 2011 My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Beach House. The house is really well furnished and perfect for 5 couples. We loved the living rooms, both upstairs and down stairs. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I will definitely come back here again.
