This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is fun and bright. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the bay on the oversized couches in the living room. There are also plenty of games, puzzles and books are available. Master bedroom has a full bath with a king bed. Guest bedroom has a trundle and queen bed with full bath. Dog run in yard, owner has installed a beautiful flagstone entry to the home and dog run. Washer/dryer. 2 block walk to the ocean beach, bay beach is just across the street. Next door to Amanda's and near Ace Cabin.

The only point of access we found was by climbing a small sand dune. Which was fine, but a little difficult with two little kids! Comfortable, clean house. The bright colors are just the thing to boost your mood. House stayed warm the whole time without using the heaters. |

Can't wait to go back..... Reviewed by: Charles P. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 My wife and I just had a romantic weekend away at Twain House. It was perfect ! When we arrived, the lights were on, it was cozy and warm. So well equipped, even down to a kettle for her tea and a pizza cutter :-) The view over the bay was perfect, even tho it rained a lot of the time. We enjoyed the comfie couch for movie watchng, and the location was ideal. Took a drive down the coast and took in some glorious scenery.The ladies in the rental office couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful.Already planning our next trip - cant wait to go back again. Thank you for opening your gorgeous house to us. |

Stayed for 4 days in November, 2012 Having lived many years in Bayshore, we were familiar with this home (and knew the first owner, who had it built). Odd that we now stayed there as a rental. Very nice accommodation. Only negative would be the dining 'area' quite limited -- small table, 4 chairs. Also, master bed (king) rather soft, but still 'sleepable'. Well equipped, quiet location, reasonably close to beach. Lots of positives for the rental rate. |

The beds are extremely comfortable and everything is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, however for a long term stay there is very little storage both in the kitchen and bedrooms. The only complaint is the front yard. It is not possible to walk out without getting tons of stickers on your shoes and bringing them into the house. Overall this is an excellent property. Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC Those darn stickers are a real problem. The owner tried actually burning the grass, thought he had it "licked" but they just come back. They seem to be everywhere near the motel, where they come from we do not know, and how to get rid of them permanently seems impossible. |

This time however we have a toddler and keeping her off the large glass table was a battle. Otherwise the house is fun and fairly accessible and has a great view of the bridge over the the bay. |

Lack of shelter/protection at outside doors Robert N. from Eugene, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2011 Neither entry is covered outside with any form of shelter. There is no place to take off or leave wet, sandy clothes other than a 3 x 3 foot area immediately inside the front door. A small runner does help, but keeping the white carpet clean can be challenging with children or a dog especially during winter storm season. I would recommend only for guests without very young children or a dog. Other than that a very comfortable rental with lots of books, games, kitchen items, linens, etc. Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC We agree it does need an overhang but it has been well recieved by all guests with kids and dogs. The owner has a young child and a dog and it seems to work well for them. |

Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 I didn't like the extra costs after starting the reservation process. The wording of the initial website postings made it sound like a flat rate of $100. Once we started reservations process we found pet fee, cleaning fee, reservation fee. Also website says access to beach club, which sounded like no cost. When checked in was told $5. When went found out $5 per person. Although some are expected most other companies are clear about them on the front end. |

Stayed for 4 days in May, 2011 During the weekend of the 6th through the 9th of May, 2011 my family rented two houses next door to where my sister lives in a small area by the bay in Waldport to celebrate several family events - my nephew's 36th birthday, Mother's Day and the lives of our parents (our father had just passed away in March of this year and our mother had gone ahead in August of 2008). Being able to rent both of these two homes next Carole's house allowed us the convenience of nearness, room for everyone to sleep, and privacy as needed and we all had an amazing time together filled with a lot of laughter and a few tears. We went there for a birthday celebration as well as crabbing. Crabbing was successful and we didn't even have to go far to go crabbing...the bay was right across the street. This home was equipped with almost everything you need. It was very comfortable and much better than a hotel. Prices were real JANET M. from Nampa, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2010 There should be instructions on how to use the shower, possibly laminated, and with large enough print that you don't need reading glasses. Because we did not know how to use it, the first night was a bath, not a shower. It was difficult for me since I had back surgery that affected my leg. The instructions were in the main bath, but this was not known at the time. Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC If we would have known that you were having problems with the bath tub we could have corrected it immediately. We are on call 24/7, we respond to every phone call. We are very sorry you had problems with the shower and have placed another instruction note in the bathroom. |
