It's also very well stocked - all the extras (i.e.coffee filters) that you never want to buy for just staying a few days. The location is only a few mins. walk to the beach and we liked the fact that it wasn't oceanfront, but a bit higher up so we could actually get a larger view of the water and see the whales and waves. The beach is just as good as any of the State Park beaches, but without the crowds - perfect. If we make our way back to Oregon (epic road trip), we would definitely book this place. |

The high speed WIFI came in really handy.The only aspect of our stay that we were a little disappointed in was the lack of things to do in the Waldport area. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 This rental was great but you may want to be aware of one thing: the upstairs master bedroom connects to the other upstairs bedroom via a bathroom. There is a lovely daybed nook upstairs facing west to read, nap, watch the ocean and the sunset, as you can also from the master bed. The remodeling/decorating was very well done. Delightful! |

It was just the right size and very comfortable. I cooked breakfast for several guests and found the kitchen to be well stocked. Sharing the upper floor bathroom worked out ok for us since we are patient folks. The master view from bed was great and a sunny morning made it even better. |

It just so happened that it was during the time that the armed and dangerous suspect appeared in the neighborhood. The property management was extremely helpful in giving us information and bringing us supplies during our lockdown. We spent a lot of time at the home because of the circumstances and found it to be very comfortable, clean and spacious. I have rented from this agency many times and always found them cheerful and helpful, and the homes clean and inviting. |

Still our favorite Bay Shore rental by far!!! Linda L. from Oregon City, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2010 Once again, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Everything is so spacious, clean, and organized that utter relaxation is unavoidable! We also appreciated the addition of a fan in the upstairs, as it can sometimes get warm at the top-most sleeping level. The kitchen is so well stocked with dishes and equipment that cooking and serving is a breeze. The two sinks and abundant counter space make it fun to cook with another person, too. Favorable September weather allowed us to use the front deck for reading in the sun and when it turned rainy we were cozy inside reading, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music and watching TV. The only tiny flaw to prevent it from being a perfect stay was that passers-by dumped glass, wrappers and other non-recycleable materials into the recycling container that was at the bottom of the driveway. When we took our recycleables out we had to clean it out and transfer the bad stuff to the regular garbage. Then, after the garbage pickup when we had taken both containers up to the top of the driveway, someone else came along and dumped loose garbage (egg shells, corn husks and other nasties with bugs on it) into the "regular" trash can. I can't imagine the nerve to come clear up the driveway, especially when we were in and out a lot of the time. Too bad, but I don't know what can be done about it. But all in all, this is a wonderful house and we will continue to come back. Thanks. |
