This Bayshore bay front home is cozy and cute. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, the master bedroom has a king bed and private bath with a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen and there is a full bath in the hall. Comfy living room with larger TV and DVD. There are wonderful views of the bay, bridge and city of Waldport from the master bedroom and living/dining area, with direct beach access via stairs to the bay. Living room also has a pellet stove and sleeper sofa. Laundry area is located in the master bath with full size washer and dryer. Double car garage. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The slider door is fixed! Wifi, no dogs.

It was wonderfully located within feet from the bay and is just accross the bridge from Waldport. The home was clean, well laid out, big bedrooms, a great pellet stove and a stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and will definately come back again. If I had to find one thing bad to say it would be that the master bed was a little hard for our taste...otherwise it is the perfect get-away home. Thank you! |

The location view is beautiful looking across the bay. The house is always clean and ready for us. I have two concerns with the rental, first - the advertising states there is a pellet stove , which it has, but there have never been any pellets supplies on any of our stays. I feel if Shellhaven is advertised as having a pellet stove, then the pellets should be provided. Second - the mattresses are horrible, they are ancient and hard as a rock with very dated, old bedding. We have to bring our own bedding and mattress toppers, which we should not have to bring to be comfortable. Again, the home is nice and comfortable.... the view is outstanding.... the location perfect... but with the lack of pellets, dated bedding and poor mattresses, I don't know if we will rent Shellhaven again. |

Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 We planned our trip very last miniute but this rental company and this house worked out perfectly for us! We had a blast! The price was just right for us also. The beds were a little hard and the floors were out of date but for the price it was great, clean, and cozy. The pellet stove was the best, there is a great porch along the back of thr house and a fire pit. The beach part wasnt a sandy beach it was very rocky! But beautiful none the less! The tvs are tiny and old but thats not what we went to the coast for. There is crabbing right out ur door! We did rent a boat and had a blast. We found out the last day the house has some crabbing rings on the side of the house.... We did pay to rent some.. Overall tons to do around here and this house and location was great, we loved it and will be back for sure! |

The beds were awful... very old... very hard... One patio door window panel was replaced but just on the one panel.. the other panel the seal is broken, but wasn't replaced. Very quiet and relaxing. There is not a lot to do at Waldport but you can travel 15-50 miles either way on the coast and find many activities. Buuuuuttttt, I arrived on the Saturday I was expecting to come in on--which was 7/23. So when I get here, after the office was closed, and couldn't find my key, I called the number on the door. A very friendly gentleman was appoligetic and rushed down. When he got there, he said they didn't have me coming in until the next day. When I checked my reservation (and a calendar to see what the date was) they were so right and I was SOOO wrong. But they found Shell Haven for me, my husband and 3 boys to stay in for the night until my house would be ready. Shell Haven was a very nice house, great set up and well stocked. Of course the boys had to look all around and check out every closet and cupboard even though we were just sleeping there for the night. Bed was good and it has a stair case to the beach. I would take either house when I come back, because we will be coming back! |

We can't think of any way in which the house could be better maintained or equipped. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2010 The home was fine and staff was helpful - the cieling in the living room has water damage that has been in need of repair for a couple of years - i have stayed there several times and think this should be fixed, the knives are all dull and there should be a shell craker for crabs since this is the oregon coast. also you are competing with motels on the coast - they all supply plenty of toilet paper - i think 2 rolls per bathroom is expected and would appreciate if paper products and aluminum foil were included as it is inconvient to arrive and then have to go get these itemsotherwise we had a great time and will be back again |

The property managers moved us to a different house which was even better than the house we originaly rented. The house was great the only problem was the back sliding door was broken so we had a very hard time going in and out to the deck to enjoy the great weather. That is my only complaint everything else was awesome! |
