Our three kids had a great time counting all the house's lighthouse images - at least 434. The house is spacious so the kids did not need to share a bedroom. The ocean views from two bedrooms and the living room are fantastic. The house is very clean. We enjoyed playful days by the beach, which is just a short walk away. The beach at nearby Seal rock is a great place to visit. We also loved dining and shopping at beautiful Newport. As always, the office people were professional, courteous and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return. |

Great View. Nice House Anthony A. from Junction City, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 Great house, New carpets. 4 Bedrooms with lots of living space. The Walk to the beach was short. Maybe 3 minutes. Kitchen area was nice, lots of light. The Two Bedrooms with views were a tad bit small but still decent. The back bedrooms were much large. I guess the only thing that was a little off was the overwhelming amount of pictures all over the place from the homeowners and their families. It is nice to see the family that owns the rental but the one thing i would change is i'd probably scale back a bit. Great time, great weather. sunny skies, no wind. We will be back again. |

It's a wonderful house and location. Wish the bedrooms were slightly larger, but its still great top have 4 bedrooms. Suggestions for improvement: Kitchen needs more dishes and all knives sharpened. The trash bin was completely full when we arrived leaving us no room for our own trash. There should have been another trash bin provided. But all in all a great place to stay. Property Manager Response: Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC We would have brought you another trash bin had we'd known. Sorry, the cleaners failed to report it was full, we apologize. We will look into the dishes and sharpen the knives. |

We liked this house cuz it's on the hill. Better view of the waves than a beach house, and still only short blocks away. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2011 It was pretty good, all of us are over 60, so we were a little daunted by the stairs and hauling our stuff up. Next time we will ask for a one level home. I liked the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms, for separation of space, privacy and connivence of bathroom use. The kitchen could us some upgrade of utensils and cooking pans, and the kitchen is not laid out very well, we all seemed to be looking for things repeatedly. Probably won't rent this one again, but it was clean and I liked having all queen beds. Thank you, Victoria B |

Excellent Ocean View, Large Home, Great Location Diane P. from La Vista, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 We rented Bayshore Light House for one week in July, & it completely surpassed our expectations. From Bayshore Rental?s web site, we knew it was large enough, but not how well that space was used. The kitchen/living/dining rooms are completely open. From the kitchen you can see the fireplace, which showcases a gorgeous copper chimney. The kitchen has excellent appliances, a bar in the center, & plenty of room to set out your ?come & get it? meals. The dining room table, is comfortable & seats 8 without blocking the ?flow?. Across from the table, there is a small bookshelf lined with various best sellers.The living room has a small sofa, 2 comfortable, relaxing chairs, & sliding doors that open onto an outdoor patio on each side of the house. There is a small, unobtrusive TV near the upstairs couch. The natural lighting is amazing for reading, doing crafts, or just staring at the ocean.There are 4 bedrooms, 2 off either side of the kitchen/dining area. ALL four bedrooms have an ocean view! The rooms have queen size beds, although some have more space than others. A full bath is between each set of bedrooms; they?re a good size, with a large counter, a full bath, a very adjustable shower head, & lots of space for toiletries. There is a 2-car garage & a long (sloped) driveway. The garage door opens downstairs, which has the laundry room (great appliances), a ½ bath, a flat screen TV, Foosball, board games, & a small table. I only had 3 minor issues with the home: The stairs are very steep, which meant grandma had to spend most of her time upstairs. This wouldn?t have changed our plans, but it would have been good to know ahead of time. Not all the rooms had shelves/dressers; next time we?ll come prepared for that. We?d have liked to have internet in the house, but that?s what a vacation means, right? We loved the Bayshore Light House, we?re recommending Bayshore Rentals to everyone, and we will definitely be back. |

All four bedrooms have a view of the ocean which pleased all our guests. There are so many windows that we just sat and watched the ocean for hours while sipping wine next to the fire. The downstairs game room was a great place for the nightowls to gather while allowing the kids to sleep peacefully upstairs. This is just a cozy little house that I would highly recommend to anyone with a large family or group of friends that just want to get away for a while and enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean. Trust me, there will be plenty of room for all. |

We have rented from you alot between two families, (atleast 2-4 times a year) and think that when we call and ask about beds, how many people it will sleep and bathrooms the person on the other end of the line should be alittle more helpfull. I could tell the people on the other end more about there houses then they have or can tell me. They should know more about there porperties. We have stayed on a few several times and alot once. Other wise this house is nice because we can take 4 couples and they can all have a bedroom to themselves that has a queen bed. Thank you for your nice houses. Mary Nye |

We had a very pleasant stay. A few minor issues were - linen sheet laundry processing was apparently incomplete, which was promptly changed and the manager was very understanding and compensated for the inconvenience. He was very nice. The office staff can be a little stern due to "HOA and septic tank issues" but all in all we had a very pleasant stay and the accomodations were as described. Keep in mind that these houses are near the ocean so one cannot expect all parts of the house to look pristine but all in all we were very pleased. We would definitely recommend Waldport as a relaxing place to chill and unwind. |
