Remote, no safe for our valuables, no dead lock on front door for personal safety! Lots of vagrant people on the beach at the front of property using drugs and alcohol. We felt responsible to clean the beach daily of cig. Buts, empty bottles and toilet paper. We love this stretch of beach and feel the need to protect it's future! |

Loved sitting out on the deck and looking out at the ocean while drinking my coffee. The pool is why I started going there but everything else keeps US going back. George who maintains and manages the place is always willing to help and the grounds are beautiful. He was even patient with two mainlanders during a tsunami warning when we had no idea of what to do. He was patient and kind and directed US where to go for safety. Highly recommend if you like quiet. |

Nice appartment but needs renovation Reto F. from Zurich, ZH recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2011 I've stayed at the Appartment no. 225 for 5 nights. The appartment itself was clean and well equipped. It has a great view to the ocean and to the garden/pool. However this unit needs a fresh-up. Parts of the ceiling behind the fridge were falling down, one pillow in the bedroom was full of stain. The a/c is only in the bedroom and there very noisy, so it's impossible to sleep without earplugs. Last but not least the decoration of the appartment is not very tasteful - less artificial flowers would be great, they are looking very cheap and old fashion. There was a WiFi connection but very slow. The pool is very nice and well maintained. Also the BBQ area is great. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the beach while watching the sunset. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets in walking distance which is very convenient. Unfortunately there was a construction site just next to the house, so very noisy starting at 8am. Over all it's a good value for the price. But don't expect to much. |

Supermarket was just a 2-min walk away and a local mall was just 20-min walk (2-min drive). The unit is in very good condition, with a fantastic view to the ocean (distance from the coastline no more than 50 meters). The ocean breeze keeps the rooms cool, so there isn't even a need for air conditioning (in november). Absolutely everything about this accommodation was perfect (that has never happened to us before!) and we will be happy to return there at some time in the future. |
