A guest from Tucson, ARIZONA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2016 Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit was nice and well furnished and equipped. The major drawback that we experienced was the lack of an AC unit in the main living/kitchen area, which made it very uncomfortable during the heat of the day. That is the only reason I could not recommend this particular unit to anyone looking for a rental unit.

A guest from Eugene, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2015 We rented 2 condos at Waiohuli Beach Hale for our family. We had a great time laying out by the pool and walking on the beach. Our units were upgraded. One unit didn't have a dishwasher and the other didn't have a washer/dryer. Between the two of us, we made it work. For the price it was a good deal.
Reiko M. from Amagasaki, Hyogo recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2015 Location was very convenient, great for walking, viewing sunset and stargazing at the beach!! And walking distance to Times supermarket! It was good for us as we loved to swim in Makena area.We liked the property except for no washer and dryer... It was hard using common laundry room and gatehring many quarters everyday. We ended up going to bank exchance money.
Vicky W. from Santa Fe, New Mexico recommends this property. Stayed for 17 days in November, 2014 I would have given the property a 5 on everything but we had a difficult time sleeping in a queen size bed. Strange given the room is so big. Also the airconditioning unit in Master needs to be replaced too noisy to use.Furniture could use new cushion stuffing. Love location and kitchen amenities.
A guest from Kealakekua, HI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 I had booked for 5 adults, and only 4 bed sheets and linens were at the apartment upon arrival. It was too late to go to the office that night. The security deposit was $500 and we got, so far, only $486 back. They apologized for the mistake but have not sent the balance. It was advertised as 2 bedrooms but the bedrooms had no real doors, only folding doors with not much privacy. Should be mentioned in the ad.
Kristin O. from Oakland, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 The rental had the most equipped kitchen I've ever stayed in. The place was spacious and I love the art work throughout. The beds were comfortable. I liked the view and the proximity to the grocery store. The pool was lovely. It wasn't a place I would want to hang out in though, and the beach isn't that great; but we loved it for its cleanliness and proximity to various "day trip destinations" like the road to Hana, Haleakana, Big Beach, a coral reserve, a farmer's market, the Iao Needle, etc. in Maui. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem I had is that I wish we could have paid the entire fee by credit card and I would have glad paid an extra fee to do so for the convenience.
Terry C. from Spokane, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in January, 2012 We were pleasently surprised at the lovely accommodations we found when we arrived for our vacation. Maui is our favorite place to get away and relax-the Waiohuli Beach Hale was the perfect location; very close to the beach, shopping, central to lots of activities that we enjoy. We will surely be back!
We enjoyed this property very much. We went to Maui for a family reunion for 16 people-5 family units. We were all able to sta
Walt & Nancy A. from Salem, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 Our kitchen was the biggest and the best laid out. The decor was great. very Hawaiiany without being over the top. The only problem we had was at night going from our building D to the pool area there were no lights on the side of building C (I think) and it was quite dark. Also, the big open lawn in front of building D would have been a perfect place for a volleyball court. The snails and the frogs and the geckos were also another fun surpise.
A guest from Anchorage, AK recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in January, 2010 Very well maintained, nicely decorated. We've stayed at a number of different units in Waiohuli over the years and this has been the nicest unit so far.
