The only draw back was no pool/hottub and access to the beach was farther than we anticipated. This property is not on the beach!! |

Great location across the street to an excellent beach for swimming, walking, diving, snorkling, SUPing...etc. Having a hotel bar/restaurant on the beach was also nice in case you wanted to go out. 1 mile from downtown Kihei and restaurants, although the better restaurants were a bit further. It wold be nice to have a fan/vent in the bathroom, but that was the only gripe. |

My favorite spot is the balcony where you can observe the sunrise/sunset, the feral cats, and the wild rooster. The location's close to beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and far away from major tourist traps. A concern is the tiny bugs/ants in the kitchen/living room; a good extermination may alleviate the problem. Also, expect to wake up early as the birds start singing before 6AM. |

Keawakapu Views #206 A guest from Edmonton, Alberta does not recommend this property. Stayed for 16 days in February, 2012 The unit itself was very nice. However, the complex DIDN?T have a gas BBQ, no smoking allowed, no pool, no tennis courts, etc so the $$ was high for what you got. It was remotely located from shopping, restaurants, etc. There is 1 beach a short distance down the road. It was less noisy regarding road noise but there are currently resident dogs that do bark. |

Stayed for 24 days in December, 2011 This condo is beautifully furnished and is just across from the Keawakapu beach and the 4 Palms restaurant where you can enjoy sunsets that are amazing. Stayed for 21 days in January, 2011 It is always wonderful to visit Maui. We were disappointed with this property. The ocean view and sunset view can only be described as "peekaboo" views. The add stated that this unit is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, this is an understatement; 15 would be more accurate. There are many residents in the building, this changes the dynamics. We were awake before 7:30 every morning due to crying children. There were a few dogs in residence, barking and looking into our front door at times (without their owners). It would probably be a good idea to let people know in advance that there are unleashed dogs in residence. The general condition of the unit was good. Not very clean though. We needed to wash down the kitchen cupboards, they were quite sticky. There was no fan in the bathroom, this should be standard. The grounds were kept very nice. Perhaps this would be an ideal location for people with young children and those with dogs. This was not a good value for the cost. |

Stayed for 6 days in January, 2009 The location of the property was disappointing - it was very close to South Kihei Road and very noisy. Our main dissatisfaction though was with the unacceptable number of samll ants. They were a constant presence in the kitchen even if no food was left out. They were also in the bathroom. We noticed that there was a notice indicating that the entire building was going to be fumigated on Jan.28., perhaps it will be better after that. |
