Tim B. from Folsom, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in March, 2016 Beautiful Condo with an unbelievable view. Condo is very nicely decorated. Provided a great vacation. We will return to the great Condo
Reviewed by: Mike G. recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in November, 2015 Everything went well. The unit was superb. A few recommendations are the sub-Zero needs replacement (old and very loud when it turns on) and the iron and ironing board are old (cheap you need a new ironing board cover with pad).
Reviewed by: Stephen P. recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in October, 2015 A great unit with fantastic views and location. Beautifully appointed and furnished. Downside was a poor job of cleaning including floors and drawers. The appliances were top grade but in less than perfect condition: the Sub zero leaked; the garbage disposal needed to be replaced and the dishwasher door creaked like inner sanctum. I would guess the owners had not seen the unit in some time. But, would return!
Reviewed by: Vicki T. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2015 Fabulous location...loved the ease to the water for snorkeling and the walk to the beach and Restraunt.. Kitchen was very well stocked. Very comfortable beds.Would have been very crowded with 6....perfect for 2-4 if coupled. Great screen doors. Nice bathrooms. Photos of condo look larger because of mirrors.Quite a bit of noise from upstairs and occasional (4) cockroaches which freaked me out but know that it's the tropics.
Reviewed by: Steve G. recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in May, 2015 Its popularity as a rental shows in the condition of the furnishings, cleanliness, and lack of attention to detail. The first hint of all that was the rug mentioned by John 1234 (below), which was rolled up, leaning against the wall outside the front door. Then, on entering the unit we found pairs of dirty children's shorts lying on a kitchen counter, and the fingerprints of who they evidently belonged to all over the sliding glass doors to the patio/lanai. Later that day we found folded towels which we presumed clean to be dirty and greasy. And the following morning, we learned that the filters left for the coffee maker were the wrong size and type. These are obviously not major issues/problems, but having paid a $225 cleaning fee, they left a bit of a sour taste.Beyond the responsibility of whoever cleans the unit is the cleanliness of the furnishings. We loved how the condo is decorated and furnished, but the furniture gets a lot of wear, and I wonder how often it's cleaned. I'd say the same about the carpet in the living area.I wish I had better things to say about the management company, which though fine and pleasant to deal with throughout the reservation process, was completely non-responsive during our stay. We called 2-3 times to report a toilet that wasn't working, and another time to notify them of a problem with our Beach Club access card, but never received a single call back.Despite the minor annoyances though, we'd gladly return to B105.
Reviewed by: William D. recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in May, 2015 Unit B-105 at the Mauna Lani Point is a great unit, with a magnificent view. It is well furnished and very comfortable. We would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying at the Mauna Lani Resort.
Reviewed by: Kay K. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2014 You can't beat the view and, if that's the only thing that matters, then you will probably be happy here. B105 is advertised as 352290 on VRBO. We arrived on Christmas Eve to find the sliding glass door screens off the runners and just laying against the windows. We called three DIFFERENT people at the three DIFFERENT numbers provided and have yet to receive a call back. We never received a call back. I managed to secure one screen with, I kid you not, band aids! As long as we didn't touch the screen we were OK but locking the sliding doors with one screen taped up with band aids was annoying. The refrigerator compressor is on it's last legs and the whirring and wheezing of the motor make it unpleasant to hang out in the living room. It's that noticeable. It would nice to have some amenities--we did not get the promised starter laundry soap and I don't think it would break the bank to provide more than one box Kleenex for 4 people and another bar of bath soap. Finally, there were no instructions on how to use the TV/DVD/Cable remote. After much searching around the back of the TV with a flashlight, we figured out that the owner provides only ONE HDMI cable. So, if you want to watch a DVD, you must unplug the HDMI and move it to the appropriate box. Again, I think it's reasonable to expect another HDMI cable so guests don't have to mess around with the cables/jacks. I honestly don't know how they can claim there are enough beds for 6 people. There were two double beds (one in each bedroom) and one day bed in the living room. I wish we had known the bedding arrangement ahead of time as the person sleeping in the living room had zero privacy. Lastly, there are live termites living in one of the kitchen utensil drawers, ant traps everywhere, a dead roach and mice. We have video of the mouse running around in our kitchen
Reviewed by: Betsy H. recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in October, 2014 The condo B105 at Mauna Lani Point was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Beach club was great and the snorkeling from the shore excellent. I will be back in the spring and try to reserve B105 again.
Margaret B. from Burbank, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in September, 2014 Beautiful. Sat on lanai nearly every night and watched the sunset. Only issue was masterbed room was technically open to living area. There is a door, but only a bamboo curtain to give privacy in the "window' opening between TV-living room and bedroom wall.
A guest from Lafayette, California does not recommend this property. Stayed for 12 days in August, 2014 We have stayed at Mauna Lani Point frequently and know our favorite view orientation. B105 is very well located and has that special view. Sadly, the owners have neglected it. Like a restaurant getting by with mediocre food knowing that a killer view will provide cover, B105 is badly in need of new fabrics and carpet. It is tired and dark--and that's a shame! That the master bedroom is "open" to the living room is simply astounding. Who makes that kind of choice?
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2014 Beautiful view and privacy. Great location. Mauna Lani is our favorite resort on the big island. Some issues with the cleanliness of unit kept it from 5-stars, but we would sure stay here again.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 Wonderful location. Easy to comfortably sleep 2 couples and 2 kids. Short walk to wonderful beach with great snorkeling. We were given the wrong entrance code at check-in but luckily someone behind us let in. We also had mice and mice droppings when we checked in. Property management was very responsive and had area of concern cleaned and pest control called. No more droppings, but they were still getting in and eating avocados and papayas that were in a bowl on the counter and got into protein powder in the cabinet. Overall great stay and lovely place.

Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in September, 2013 Lovely location and quite peaceful. Instructions for the TV s and cable set ups would have been helpful. Comfortable beds and furnishings although it would have been nice if there was a sunshade for the window by the day bed in the living room. The afternoon sun was blinding and made the area uncomfortably bright.

Reviewed by: Teri S. recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2013 We arrived to a beautiful condo (B105) that provided everything we needed for a great vacation. We were very satisfied with all of it's furnishings and the extras provide for us. The pool facilities and BBQ area were nice too.I truly believe that the location of this property is one of the best. Not only for it's view but for getting to my favorite snorkel spot, just across and down from the tee box. It is also close enough to walk to the crescent bay beach and snorkel area too. I would and have already recommended this condo to a few family members and friends.Working with Marisa and Alesia was easy. They went out of their way to find and get me this condo for the dates I wanted it for. Also when we did run into a few minor problems, (guest bathroom needed new light bulbs and a few hardy ants that just wanted to vacation with us), they took care of it asap. So thank you ladies and owners, I will definitely be headed back to my favorite vacation spot, the Mauna Lani Point Beach Resort.

Reviewed by: Cynthia P. recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in November, 2011 It would be nice if the property included some information about how things work, where the pool and beach were, etc. Felt like we had to do our own research and talk to neighbors to get specifics. Most properties have a list of things one needs to know to make the stay the best it could be. This had nothing.
