Could be so much better Reviewed by: Deborah K. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in April, 2013 The property manager made an error in our booking so our first night we had to stay at another property which really made for an awkward start to our vacation. We couldn't unpack and our groceries had to be moved from one property to another; not good. Our check-in at the Wai'Ula'Ula home was delayed until 5:30 due to the extensive cleaning required to ready the house; we ended up cleaning the BBQ grates ourselves and finishing the laundry. No dish or laundry soap was provided and only one roll of TP per bathroom. The code to the pool/fitness center was not provided and the coffeemaker was broken, so overall it was a very hard start. Once we finally settled, the property was fine and the management company was responsive in resolving those issues, after several phone calls. Location was a challenge as a car is required for absolutely everything, including the beach. It is not a 15 minute walk to the beach as we were told. A little more attention to details and providing information to the guests would be advised; the check-in at the Hapuna Prince was not help either as we were given a packet and told "everything you need is in there." Not true by a long shot. No explanation of where we could park, or facilities, or anything at all related to the $300 amenity package we paid for. It would have been helpful to have something or someone explain the facilities and our privileges. |

This is a lovely Villa with a beautiful view. Reviewed by: Donna M. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 the only negative is that the location of the complex is far away from everything. We liked the privacy but not the long drive to go sight seeing. |

Greate for two couples Reviewed by: Richard W. recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in March, 2012 We found the condo very comfortably furnished with a lovely sunset view of the ocean, framed by palm trees...picture perfect. The location is ideal, remaining sunny even when other areas are cloudy, rainy or socked in by vog. Access to two beautiful hotel beaches, shops and restaurants is very convenient (public parking spaces at many beaches are limited and the walk from the public parking area can be long and over rough trails, so hotel parking is a great advantage). The Mauna Kea hotel beach parking is by valet only, so bring a couple of bucks for a tip). The only glitches regarding the property were: the guest notebook, which usually offers instructions on electronics, info on using facilities, guest privileges, and local color was empty; the barbeque ran out of propane half way through cooking our first meal, so we had to use the oven; the sensor that turns off the air conditioning when the sliding doors in the master bedroom are open had fallen off, so we could not use AC till we figured that out and reinstalled it; the sliding door to the side yard would not open (though the large doors to the patio and back worked fine); the towels supplied are small and fairly worn; the facility's pool is shallow (4-feet max) and not very inviting. These minor inconveniences seemed inconsequential in light of the overall beauty of the condo and location. They may well be remedied by now. |

Dreaming of B2 Kumulani Reviewed by: Joan K. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 Beautifully appointed condo in quiet complex. Kumulani is located between 2 of Hawaii's top beaches, each only a five-minute drive away. There is a good selection of restaurants nearby and there are small grocery stores in the area facilitating cooking in. This 1st floor unit is surrounded by lush plantings of ornamental grasses, hibiscus hedges, etc, and is gated, providing guests with safety and security. A fabulous property. |

Thoroughly satisfied Reviewed by: Matthew L. recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in December, 2011 A very nice condo with all the amenities one could ask for. We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect for a family of 4. Too far to walk to the beach with small children, but a two minute drive is all it takes to get to several wonderful beaches |

Harmony at Hapuna Beach Reviewed by: Susan H. recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2011 This condo is absolutely gorgeous and was a perfect fit for our famiy of 3. It is beautifully decorated, on a golfcourse and with a magnificent ocean view. Very quiet and private. My only constructive comment about the condo would be that if you like to cook, the kitchen is light on cooking supplies compared to other properties where we have stayed. The only negative aspect of the stay was that we were not provided the property address (we were led to believe we had had all the information we needed), so we wasted more than an hour in the dark (the island is not well lit because of the observatorY), and if not for the kindness of the security guard at the Hapuna Beach Prince hotel, would never have been able to open the lock box and get into the condo. I would strongly urge the management company to provide the address of the unit, instructions on getting to the unit, and over-nighting the key to make that process go more smoothly. Regardless, we hope to be able to stay here again, we absolutely loved it. |
