This modern, Wi Fi-enabled, 2200 sq. ft., three-bedroom, 2.25 bath + loft cabin is nestled in the upscale private community, Roslyn Ridge, only a mile from Speelyi Beach at Lake Cle Elum. If the weather outside is delightful, you have countless shopping, dining and outdoor activities to choose from. If you?re snowed in, or choose to pretend you are, Whispering Pines is the perfect place to relax, recharge and get your game on.
Indoor Entertainment
The activity hub of the house is a giant living room underneath a 20-foot vaulted cedar ceiling. Watch your favorite DVDs on the 50-inch plasma TV (with Surround Sound), play PlayStation videogames or gather around the stone fireplace to share laughs. Once you sink slowly into the large sectional couch, you might just want stay there. The living room gives way to an open kitchen with two dining tables perfectly suited for large meals, poker tournaments and board games from the treasure chest coffee table.
Outdoor Entertainment
On sunny days and starry nights, everyone can gather around the 10-person extra large picnic table while the gas BBQ grill cooks a feast to perfection. Afterwards, sing songs, tell stories and roast S?mores at the outdoor fire pit. Four lucky people can tiptoe across the wrap around porch to the outdoor hot tub -- it?s the perfect place to unwind no matter how hot or cool the weather. Two others can borrow the mountain bikes for a spin around scenic Roslyn Ridge.
Kitchen
The Chef?s kitchen is big enough to prepare a culinary buffet for your army, with stainless steel appliances (wall ovens, French Door refrigerator), a six-burner gas stove and granite countertops. Making pasta? There?s a pot filler faucet right on the stove.
When meals are served, adults can gather around the living room table while kids dine nearby in the kitchen?s an 8-person pub style table. A Keurig Coffee Maker makes your morning wake-up a snap (Keurig KCups in a variety of coffee and tea flavors are available at the grocery store in Roslyn). A washer/dryer and ironing board are tucked away in a nearby closet.
Baths
Two and a quarter bathrooms provide guests the space and privacy they need to get through their morning and evening routines.
Bedrooms
On the main floor, couples can flip a coin to see who stays in the romantic master suite that features a four-post king sized bed with a memory foam mattress top; an extra-large master bath with a tiled shower, slate floors and his & her sinks; and private access to the outdoor hot tub.
Upstairs, two bedrooms and an open loft comfortably sleep the rest of your party. One bedroom features a king-sized bed with down comforter and an extra full size futon (to use as a couch or to sleep an extra guest or two). The other bedroom features a king size bed with down comforter.The open loft is perfect for children, featuring a twin bunk bed, sony play station and TV. Whether you rise at dawn or sleep in ?til Noon, you will awake relaxed, recharged and ready for the day.
Activities
The Roslyn Ridge Activity Center* is just a 5-minute walk from your cabin. The modern facility offers an outdoor pool, hot tub, kid?s splash fountain, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball pit, outdoor BBQ station, picnic tables. A small gym features exercise bikes and shower/locker room facilities. If you need to plug back into the outside world, there is free Wi-Fi access in the conference room.*Club entrance fee is $7/person per day (charged at the door -- cash only).
Parking
Three cars can park right at the cabin door. Campers, RVs and large trucks can park nearby in the secure, community parking lot.
