This beautiful mountain home is awaiting the arrival of you and your family! Tuckaway Ridge offers accommodations to sleep up to 12 guests.

This 4,300-square-foot home has six (6) bedrooms and three (3) full baths. It additionally offers two (2) full living rooms and an open floor plan, making it a wonderful home for family gatherings or large groups. There is a gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill, wet bar, and entertainment room with a large, flat-screen TV and toys for the kids. Plus, there is a two-car garage and plenty of parking.

Located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, the home’s scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Reedy Creek can be seen from any room in the house. The home is located just 15 minutes from Hendersonville; 5 minutes from Bat Cave, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure; 30 minutes from Asheville; 1.5 hours from Charlotte, NC; and is only 11 miles off of I-26.

When looking for an outdoor adventure, Hendersonville has a large number of options such as tubing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and hiking trails. Located nearby is Pisgah National Forest, which has over 500,000 acres of protected forest, featuring hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, and horse trails, waterfalls, and beautiful mountaintop views. If you and / or your children are fans of The Hunger Games trilogy and movie, a scene with Katniss and Gale was shot at the Pisgah National Forest. Scenes were also filmed at the nearby DuPont State Recreational Forest. While the scenes only comprise a few minutes of the movie, they are significant including where Peeta and Cato battle; where Katniss is running from fireballs and cools her burned leg in water; and where she finds a wounded and camouflaged Peeta. It is also near several excellent golf courses, including Apple Valley Golf Course, Bald Mountain Golf Course, and Etowah Valley Country Club and Golf Resort, which is rated by Golf Digest as one of the top 50 golf destinations in the US. The home is only minutes away from Chimney Rock State Park and Lake Lure, which was ranked by National Geographic Magazine as one of the top scenic lakes in the world.

This mountain home is perfect for any season! Enjoy the beautiful snowy weather in the winter where a cozy cabin feels just right. Stay warm by the gas-log fireplace or relax in the jetted tub in the master bath. Check-out time is 10:30 a.m. or earlier at Carolina Properties Lake Lure office.

In addition to the rent the following charges apply:

$20.00 Reservation Fee

$125.00 Cleaning Fee

$45.00 Accidental Damage Insurance

5% Henderson County Occupancy Tax (on rent)

6.75% NC State Sales Tax (on rent and reservation fee)

Cancellation / Transfer Policy: If a confirmed reservation is cancelled or transferred, a processing fee of $50.00 and the $20.00 reservation fee plus applicable North Carolina State Sales Tax will be charged against the Advance Deposit. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival; all funds received will be forfeited, unless the property can be re-rented for the cancelled period for the full amount. Please allow 30 days from the date we receive your cancellation notice for any of the Advance Confirmation Deposit to be returned (applicable only if the unit was re-rented).
