The apartment is on the first floor (the second for American's). You will enter into a delicious space with antique hardwood floors, exposed beams, high, light-filled French windows, and great views. The large living room has 2 large French windows with superb views of the Seine. a decorative antique fireplace, sofas, a round dining table with chairs, a large sofa bed opening into king-sized, comfortable bed for 2 adults.
There is Cable TV, a DVD player, phone, and a WiFi Internet.
There are two bedrooms with elegantly draped queen-sized beds, one with exposed beams. The third bedroom has two bunk beds, perfect for a couple of kids.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with marble table, oven, fridge, dish-washer, micro wave, electric plates, large freezer, a washing/drying machine, a coffee maker, a kettle, and of course all the pots, pans, glasses and plates you need to feel like home.
Both bathrooms are up-to date and modern, The first bathroom, recently renovated, has a bathtub, a separate shower, a hair-dryer, a towel-dryer, a wash basin and a mirror. The second bathroom, recently added, offers a shower, a wash basin and a also a mirror. As further luxury, the toilets are separated for added privacy and convenience.
Location: The Ile St Louis, a small and very old neighborhood, with trendy shops and restaurants, in the heart of the Paris, is as well-placed as you can get. Stroll across to the neighboring Ile de la Cité to visit the beautiful Cathedral of Notre Dame; Or cross the Seine to the Left Bank and Boulevard Saint Michael, the Saint Germain area, the Musée d'Orsay, and all the shops that you have dreamed. Cross the Seine on the other side, and you are in the trendy, yet historic Marais.
Many Metro stops are available close by. The closest Metro: Pont Marie (line 7) and Sully Morland (also line 7). A little further away is the Metro Maubert Mutualité (Line 10), Hotel de Ville (line 1) which takes you to the Louvre. Several bus lines are also available within 5 min.
