Wilderness getaway A guest from Rosamond, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 Our first time to the sequoias. The weather was beautiful. The house was clean, and cozy. Not exactly what I imagined, but provided fun for the family. Property manager was responsive to our needs. The rooms were a little smaller than expected, particularly the game room. We slept comfortably, the kitchen was well stocked., we would go back.
Property Manager Response: Response from Century 21 Sierra Properties Thank you for your review Brenda! We're glad you were able to enjoy our beautiful mountains!

January looking for snow trip A guest from Placentia, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in January, 2015 A very spacious cabin. We thought in nicer in person than the photos show. Kitchen was well stocked. The twin beds (trundle) do not really work well for adults. We drove from the cabin to Bear Valley each day. Arnold is also just minutes from Big Tree State Park. The town has a very nice grocery store as well. We would rent here again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Century 21 Sierra Properties Hi Debbie, Thank you for your review, we're so glad you had a good time in Arnold and hope you come back to visit soon.
Family visit A guest from Aurora, IL recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 The house was very well maintained, clean, and had plenty of towels, sheets, and kitchen utensils. We were in Arnold on the hottest days of the year, when we arrived, the temperature in the house was over 90 degrees. Without air conditioning, it was very uncomfortable for sleeping for a couple of nights, with inside temps close to 85. The ceiling fans helped some, but without air, I would not stay here again during a heat wave. Other than that, the house and location were very nice.
Property Manager Response: Response from Century 21 Sierra Properties Thank you Joy for your review! Heat waves can be very uncomfortable. We hope you come back and stay with us again, perhaps a different season.
A bit dated but nice Lisa M. from San Jose, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 Nice house but be warned, bring your own towels and ant repellent. The kids wouldn't go near the game room. They said it was haunted which it was rather creepy in the basement. I do suggest locking the white door down there. The kids swore there were dead bodies behind (it just led to under the house)The fold out upstairs needs to be replaced unless you like sleeping at a 45* angle with feet up and head down. The nice thing about the TVs was they were small and outdated so my kids didn't even bother turning them on. Win for me! The Snowflake Lodge (which you get to use as a guest) was beautiful and worth going to everyday.
Property Manager Response: Response from Century 21 Sierra Properties Thank you for your suggestions. We will pass this along to the Owner and hopefully can get a more comfortable fold out bed upstairs. As for the ya going to call?" :) Maybe some better lighting will improve the area down there. It is a lovely home. Thank you so much! We hope to have you back again! (If not at this house, maybe one of our other homes).
Plusses and minuses A guest from Redwood City, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in July, 2013 There was no air conditioning and the ceiling fans were confusing to understand and one was broken. The glass on top of the living room coffee table was dirty. Some of the dishes were dirty. The mattresses in the pull-out couches upstairs were crooked with the head end lower than the foot end. Other than these deficiencies, the kitchen was well-stocked with good cooking utensils and plenty of cutlery and plates/bowls/glasses. The location was nice.
Very nice house with all the amenities A guest from Los Altos, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 Spent three nights in this clean, homey setting. Enjoyed the living room downstairs, the family room in the loft, and the game room in the basement with foosball and air hockey! Cooked all of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. As is often the case in vacation rentals, the cookware and cooking utensils are heavily used. If you plan to cook and aren't travelling by airline, I recommend bringing along a few favorite items from home such as a good kitchen knife and maybe a skillet.
We Had a relaxing fun time!!!!! A guest from Santa Rosa, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 We all had our own space to relax better that a motel or hotel . We could relax ,play on the air hockey or foos ball tables watch tv or play in the snow. My girls even built a snow fort. I was very happy that they even shovel the driveway and the walks for us . my 80 yr old mother even had fun. will do this again. I have already recommented it to two other people. thanks.
