When you?re relaxing on the beachfront balcony of Rainbow Cay, nothing stands between you and the Atlantic Ocean except the beautiful natural dunes and pure white sands of Crescent Beach . . . and your own private swimming pool! Built with a large surrounding deck just perfect for sunbathing and lounging, our pool offers a refreshing alternative to the waves of the surf. And the views are unbelievable!
Views are one of the specialties of Rainbow Cay. From the open-plan living and dining area you can enjoy a panoramic vista of sand, sea, and sky without ever leaving your seat. Tucked into a sunny corner of the kitchen is the breakfast nook, with windows on 2 sides and a door leading out to a deck just steps away. French doors occupy almost one whole wall of the master suite, so you can enjoy the outdoors views without lifting your head from the pillow. And surrounding the house are decks and patios of multiple levels, in sun and shade, with all manner of comfy furniture and appointments!
And the spectacular location is just one of Rainbow Cay?s merits. Everything inside our house is top-notch too, selected to make your vacation time more enjoyable and relaxing. The living room features a huge flat-screen TV (with cable and DVD player) surrounded by ultra-soothing couches and cushioned chairs. When you get back from the beach in the afternoon, sink into the couch to watch a movie. When you wake up, it will be time to go out for dinner!
Speaking of dinner, if you decide to eat ?in? during your vacation, we think you?ll love using the kitchen and dining room at Rainbow Cay. Our kitchen is a gourmand?s dream, with the latest appliances, all the dishes and cookware you could wish, and even a central island so that multiple cooks can be comfortable in the kitchen at the same time. Track lighting and hardwood floors make for elegant surroundings, and all the time-savers are here too, from a blender to a coffeemaker to a microwave, to get you out of the kitchen and back into the action even faster!
Set your sous-chefs to work chopping veggies at the breakfast bar and set the dining room table with finery from our cupboards! This big wooden table is ideal for large groups, and doubles as a game center after the dessert plates have been cleared away. Sometimes the most fun experiences of a vacation happen ?at home?!
Whether you spend your days hanging out at Rainbow Cay or sightseeing in nearby St. Augustine (just a few minutes? drive away!) or on the beach, everyone will come back for a great night?s sleep here. The second and third bedroom also contain king-sized beds (why should just one couple sleep in luxury?!), while the fourth offers a queen-sized. And there is even a set of bunks in the workroom ? a double on the bottom and a single on top! Let the kids pack up some snacks and go ?camping? one night in this space, or use it for their clubhouse. What?s a beach house for if not to have fun?!

Great location! Mike O. from Augusta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 The location of the beach house was ideal for our family! Easy to get to off the highway and perfectly situated right on the beautiful beach. Having the pool right outside our door allowed the kids to nap when they needed it while the adults could still lounge by the pool. Very nice space! Rainbow Cay A guest from Elmherst, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Decent house on the beach, good location. The interior is starting to show some wear. This house would be fine for a summer rental when the weather is warm. I would not recommend as a spring break rental to anyone with kids as the pool is not heated and there is no hot tub. Strange really not to have a heated pool, or hot tub, when this is a year round rental. Make sure you have everything in writing when dealing with Vacation Rental Pros. I will never rent from Vacation Rental Pros again. Nancy was nice, but everyone else was either rude or uneducated on their product. We were told the house was new construction at the time of booking, which it clearly was not. The outside garbage cans were overflowing with trash from the prior guests, we had nowhere to put the trash. We were told a hair dryer was in the unit, there was not one. We were told the pool was heated at the time of booking, then later learned it wasn't. The Vacation Rental Pros staff was pretty confrontational and very rude about this pool issue. For the amount of money this house costs to rent, the customer should be treated better. They also send an email asking guests to strip the beds and start the laundry prior to check out. We go on vacation to get away from this task, not do this work for you. Learn to treat your customers as guests, not hired help and when there is an issue, work to find a solution and don't be so rude. Property Manager Nancy E. from Plymouth, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 The VRBO site said this home had internet but it did not. Our 2 college kids had homework so we ended up going out to find internet service. I stayed and waited for the Xfinity to install the service & the next day my husband helped Jeff from Vac-Pros figure out how to to get us connected. The boardwalk was fallin in, very unsafe for us to cross until maintance came and put it somewhat back together. The property manager reservation process was good at taking our money, but she has no idea what the condition of this place was like. The walls were freshly painted and clean. The cleaners did a good job on the inside of this home. When we arrived there were Racoons in every tree and the trash was everywhere at the end of the driveway so when the maintance guys came to fix the boardwalk we had them pick up the trash and take it with them. Awesome Getaway A guest from Hernando, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 Property is wonderful and great location for downtown. Walking distance to most historic st augustine has to offer. Had to place several calls to get specifics as far as free wifi logins and assigned parking space were concerned (there is only one not the stated two).
