Specially selected furniture is placed around the custom river rock fireplace to ensure coziness. For your entertainment there is a new 40? LCD HDTV, DVD and CD/IPOD player. The gourmet kitchen features upscale stainless steel appliances, rich cherry cabinetry and luxurious travertine flooring. Beach décor adds charm throughout the home.
Master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a King size bed, 32? LCD TV and DVD player. The attached master bath features double sinks, private toilet and amazing travertine double head shower. First and second guest rooms are beautifully furnished with queen beds. One located on the ground floor and the other upstairs. The third guest room sleeps 5 and features an oak bunk bed, queen futon and a single trundle bed. Beanbag chairs, TV and DVD make this the perfect kids? room! The upstairs bath features a tub/shower. Relax on the private back patio enjoying golf course views, singing birds and the occasional local deer. It is also equipped with a gas barbeque, patio chairs and table. Good multi-family home Grant K. from Portland, Oregon recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2013 A family of three couples and four kids stayed in this house for a long weekend and it worked well for us. It's in a good location (especially if you are a golfer) that is a short walk to the city park and a nice stroll to the beach or downtown. It's a newer house with a nice great room area and well stocked kitchen. Having a master bedroom on the main level is a great option for a family with grandparents staying with them. And the kids room sleeps 4-5 comfortably and has its own TV so the adults can talk in peace downstairs occasionally ;-). The Foosball table in the garage was a hit too!There are a couple downsides to this place. First, the furniture in the living area is not very comfortable (think cheap stuff you'd buy for your apartment in your 20s) -- especially for a house that is nice otherwise. And the downstairs general bath does not have a shower, so whoever stays in the second bedroom downstairs has to use the master shower or go upstairs. And if you are dependent on having wifi wherever you go, I don't believe this place had it -- this is usually a deal killer for us, but we were not at the house much except to sleep so we didn't care.All in all, it is a nice property at a reasonable price. Add nice, comfortable living room furniture and wifi, and this place would be a great. |

This was by far a much better stay. The home is only 2 years old, still in 'sale ready' condition, accomodated our whole family, and it was nice to see golfers coming through the green each day. If we could find a way to purchase this property, we would. Nice home on a great corner lot. |

This seemed out of character for this new home on the golf course. Fix this problem and you have a great place to getaway all around! |

Nice house, far, far away from the beach A guest from Rochester, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2011 The house was claimed to be a "couple blocks" from the ocean. Uh, no. It is 1/2 mile from the beach (so says my car's odometer).The house is very nice (it is recently new). Only minor gripe is it is sparsely furnished with few extras we've seen in other rentals. No big deal though. The house was nicely built with a big great room and a huge shower (though no master tub).If you're looking for a house within walking distance of the ocean, as we were, keep looking. If you're looking for a nice house with 4 bedrooms on the golf course (for whatever reason somebody might want that...) this is the place for you. Property Manager Response: Response from Sunset Vacation Rentals Sorry for the miscommunication. As this home is located in a new housing development, it does not show up on mapquest. From looking at a map, it shows that it is 4-5 blocks from the beach, however a couple of those blocks are a little bit longer blocks. This is a fairly easy walk with nice hiking trails on the way. |

Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 The home was perfect for our family, our personalities, and exceeded our best expectations. The property was secluded enough for the privacy and safety of our young children, but conveniently close to everything we wanted to do and experience, it was just perfect for us. The interior was clean, spacious and comfortable; our only complaint was that we did not book enough time to enjoy all that was offered in that beautiful home and the Manzanita OR area. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2011 House was good. Adequate room for most of family. Kitchen pretty well equipped, but knives were horrible. I suppose good kitchen knives have a tendency to walk away. Only real complaint was that the garbage cans were full due to garbage collection schedule. Pickup occurred the day we left, so we then had room in the trash cans for the garbage we generated. Had our stay been on different days of the week than what it was, garbage might have been a problem.Over all, we were very pleased with the house, especially that it was available for the weekend of the 4th of July at so late a date that I inquired about a rental. The location was OK so far as access and parking was concerned, but a little far from the beach. |

Stayed for 3 days in June, 2011 Our group consisted of 4 families, so having 4 spacious bedrooms & a great room floor plan worked perfectly. House in excellent condition; lovely kitchen, luxurious master suite, gas BBQ, laundry room, patio, etc... Would have been nice to have a welcome packet with more information about the town, restaurants / menus, etc... we did not discover the shorter, less busy route into town or that we were so close to the park until the last day.
