A great place to stay near the neighborhood lake!
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2016 The house was spacious and well maintained. Bright with a treehouse feeling. The neighborhood lost power for 12 hours but we were cozy with the wood burning stove. The garage was great since it was rainy and snowy all weekend.

Scott H. from Los Gatos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 Come Rest Awhile provided a great mountain cabin experience. The cabin location is awesome and convenient to everything we needed or wanted to do. The house met all of our expectations and needs. The kids loved the loft. We can't wait to come back.
Property Manager Response: Response from Century 21 Sierra Properties Dear Scott,

A guest from Modesto, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 We stayed here with another family and their children, and had a wonderful time! The kitchen was very accommodating, the kids loved the fuseball table, and the beds were comfortable. We skied at Bear Valley, went sledding, had dinner at Snow Shoe Brewery in Arnold(which was wonderful), and the kids had fun making snowballs in the front yard. The property was clean and well-maintained, and we enjoyed our stay very much. I would recommend this cabin to a friend.

A guest from Tracy, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2014 Our stay was very relaxing over all. The beds were comfortable the pillows very comfortable, spacey kitchen and dining area as well as living room area and outside area. Walking distance to a beautiful lake where we took family pictures, with a nice sun lighting. Long enough driveway for 5 cars for those who come from separate directions. We the home would be a lot better if the first floor which is the garage would be a made into a game room, there was no pool table or ping pong table, and the master bedroom more of a master loft with an extra room but was not very private due to no doors. I would not recommend this house to ppl with small children. We had two toddlers and there was no gate to put against the stairs and the rails to the loft were wide enough for child to go through. Not a small child safe home but overall nice clean home with up to date amenities.

Stayed for 5 days in November, 2013 four generations never got along so well under one wife, her mother, our daughter and 2 grandchildren,13 & 4 years of age, could not have had a more relaxed and peaceful 5 days together.quiet nights in front of the fireplace, early morning walks along quiet roads and meeting the most friendly residents of dorrington, made it nearly impossible to leave.
Marietta R. from Reno, NV recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2013 We've stayed at this cabin every July for the last 9 years and hope to continue the tradition long into the future.Like always, the reservations were easily made and the staff at Century 21 very helpful and friendly. We all look forward to walking through the cabin doors and being welcomed like old friends. It's nice to always get what's expected: Comfortable accomodations, many conveniences and the beauty inside and out.See you next year!
Dianne T. from Gult, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 Come Rest Awhile was rented as a secondary property since we could not have 24 people in the Teel House. It was more than sufficient for sleeping quarters and morning coffee for 6 people and then the group gathered at the Teel House for our retreat meetings. I probably would not want to rent it again - configuration of bedrooms/loft bedrm no door, steep stairs, smaller than it seemed from the photos online. SO appreciated being able to rent both houses from the same realty firm - Kendra made it all very easy!
Marietta R. from Reno, NV recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We have made it a habit every July to spend a week at this great cabin as a family - 10 people/3 generations. Everyone looks forward to it and luckily, Come Rest A While has been available to host our treasured tradition. We consider it a part of the family now too!Thankfully, Century 21 took the passed baton of rental managment and ran with it. Everything was ready and waiting again this year, along with a welcoming note, helpful information and great communication throughout. We thank the property owner and management team for keeping the dream alive for us. Already anticipating more good times for next year...
