Only one of the showers worked, but we reported this to the Atwood folks & I am Sure that will be taken care of. Great to walk out on the dock and pull up our crab pot and have fresh blue crab! |

Great Spot for Enjoying Best of Edisto A guest from Hillsborough, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 This was a very comfortable house for our family of 4 and especially well located for our kayaking and driving adventures. Kayaking to Edingsville Beach (by way of the branch on the right just past Cowpens) was a breeze, and the longer trip down the length of Frampton Creek to Botany Bay beach made for a great trip too (just try to go with the current both ways). The house is close enough for a short drive to Edisto Beach for restaurants, etc. but also only a short drive from Botany Bay Wildlife Management Area for touring a nice slice of the island. Only complaint was the john boat taking up most of the dock, which made launching kayaks a pain, yet there was no indication that the boat was for guest use(?) All in all, though, we would highly recommend this home, especially as a less expensive alternative to staying on Jeremy Cay or Cowpens. |
