Susan S. from Port Lavaca, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2016 Family members from several states met in Vail for five days. The property was wonderful. The location was awesome. We spent hours sitting on the deck watching and listening to the creek that runs behind the house. The house was clean, beautiful and homey. We grilled/cooked several meals and sat down together to for meals. We relaxed and got to enjoy each other's company.
Smith M. from New Kensington, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2016 Enjoyed staying in this very comfortable duplex but there were some things that weren't good. Not enough storage for renters in master bedroom - only 3 drawers available, all others either locked or full. Not enough room in kitchen cabinets for our food. Should have 1 more tv - preferably in meditation room. Management company was very helpful.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 This house was absolutely perfect for what our work group wanted to do - some relaxation and work in a relaxing environment. The WiFi connection was also strong, which was a huge plus with this being a work retreat.
Perfect "Location.Location, Location" plus lots of space!
A guest from Glen Cove, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2014 We took our two kids and their families(6 adults, 5 grandkids) to this home for a Christmas --New Years ski vacation. It will be a cherished experience. First of all, Tere of Gore Creek Properties was a pleasure to deal with from the booking to fixing a couple of minor issues after we arrived. Everything was as described and the house was beautiful and spacious. The "meditation" room doubled as an office to quietly keep up with business during the day and as a sixth bedroom(the couch has a pullout bed) for a teen who deserved his own space at night.I wish the owner had left written instructions on how to use the walk-in jacuzzi tub, the steam shower, and the sound system. My techie son discovered that the Canon printer on the entertainment counter in the living room is an "air printer" so we were able to use our iPhones to print boarding passes. The gas fireplace is controlled only by a remote control by turning the "Mode" button to "On". The glass sliding door opposite the master bathroom doesn't have window treatment so be aware that the home on the opposite side of the stream is occupied! The home is steps away from a shuttle bus stop which was very convenient and free (the Lions Head parking lot is $25 per day but for dropoffs the first two hours are free). When we go back to Vail we will absolutely use Gore Creek Properties again.
A guest from katy, texas recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2014 The house was well prepared for our visit. The house functioned well. Allround a 5 star experience with a very good ski resort.
Tom M. from Baldwinsville, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2014 Great home..the bedrooms were a little sparse. We had problems with dishwasher and refrigerator and Gore Creek Properties were very timely and professional about taking care of issues. Will definetely use Gore Creek again.....
A guest from Katy, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 Property was in great shape. Very clean, modern, and comfortable. I hosted 8 client guests and had no issues with the property or the management company. The bus stop is a short walk from the house as advertised. I have no issues staying here again.
Kristin B. from McKinney, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 This property served as a great ski cabin for our family. The proximity to the Vail Village shuttle was excellent... just steps away from the home. The bedrooms were large and the kitchen/living room/dining room/ entry way area was expansive. Perfect for a large group. Only issues were that the refrigerator light didn't work and we wish we couldn't pulled a car into the garage. We were, however, able to store our equipment in the garage.
Jerry M. from Johnston, IA. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 This property was by far the best home that we have rented in the past 5 years. There was plenty of room for 12 adults and 3 kids and working with Gore Properties was top natch, you won't be disappointed, we weren't.
A guest from Blanchardville, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 The house was everything we hoped for, spacious, clean and comfortable. Having the creek flowing directly in front of the house was a true BONUS! Beautiful! It was soothing to fall asleep to the sound of the flowing water. I loved the privacy provided with all the private baths in the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this rental to everyone and I would book it again myself. You'll love it!
Ken P. from Ipswich, Mass recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 This was a very special trip with some of my good friends from college. We could not have asked for more, this house exceeded all expectations. The layout of the house was perfect, so many great rooms with so much amazing scenery. You could not have a better mountain location, and having the sound of the stream flow throughout the house really made the experience. This is your trip to God's country, and I know will be back!
Leslie L. from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2013 The layout of the house was fine for us 12, and the location was fine if you're willing to drive to the slopes. The furniture and appliances could stand to be upgraded, though. And lots of the owners' personal items everywhere. But it was a good value for Vail.
Dan S. from Stillwell, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2013 The house was great, a really nice set-up. The family enjoyed their rooms and the casualness. Well-appointed and spaceous. Beautiful granite and stone throughout. The steamsauna in the showers was a surprise and really nice. The garage is not usable for parking a car, but 4 cars can easily be parked in the driveway. The heated driveway was a fantastic. The grand kids really wanted a outside hot tub, but you can't have everything. They turned the meditation room into a playroom, which was good for everyone. Took a couple of days to figure the electronics out, TV, blinds, etc. The house has more switches and dials than the original IBM computer. We'll be back again next year!
Brian C. from McKinney, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in July, 2012 We had a great time in Vail and this house. The layout works well. You are right on the creek and feel isolated even though you can see other houses around you. We had company in and out while we were there and space was never an issue. The kitchen flows really well and allows people to participate with others sitting in other seating areas. We would definitely stay her again.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2012 This is the second year that we have stayed and this year was even better than last year. The house is clean, well cared for, and spacious. There's plenty of space to spread out inside and the shuttle is less than a minute's walk away from the front door. If you have a large group, this is the place to be!
A guest from Chicago, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2012 We had a great weekend in Vail and the house was awesome! We had a great experience with Gore Creek Properties and we look forward to going back next year. Thanks!
A guest from Longmont, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in December, 2011 Loved the spaciousness for a group of people. Could accommodate many at the dining table and great layout for those cooking, visiting, playing games, view, etc.
Swedish M. from Englewood, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2011 We were very pleased with the property and extremely pleased with the service from the company personnel. We will be contacting you again next year when we need a rental.
Erin G. from Washington, DC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 great property. Spacious living areas, deck right off the stream (you can hear the soothing rush of the water from inside). Plentiful bathrooms, easy access to shuttle. Working the TV and stereo was a challenge. Took tech savy folks to make it work. Grill didn't have a full tank of propane, but I'm being told I'll be reimbursed for it. Those are the only complaints I had, and those weren't that big of deals.
