Great One BR condo in East Vail
Alastair K. from Newmarket, recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in February, 2016 Enjoyable stay in a comfortable condo. The only downsides were the lack of a range of pots for cooking. One had the handle broken off! Some of the pots/pans were not very clean on arrival. Crockery needs replacing and not enough knives. A number of the TV channels were not available including basic news channels!
A guest from Scottsdale, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 We loved the location, kitchen and living space of this unit. We were disappointed that the bench by the creek was not there..one of the two reasons we picked this rental. The other disappointment was the creek was not running..found out from a neighbor it was damned so repairs could be done.
A guest from North Olmsted, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2015 We rented this condo for 7 nights and were very comfortable here. The place was very clean and cozy, andthe kitchen was well stocked for preparing our meals. The shuttle bus stop was right outside and very convenient and easy for getting to the ski areas or out in the evenings. The on site store was a bonus, we used it for all of our groceries, beer, wine and snacks.. Overall a great place to stay.
A guest from Huntsville, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2015 Rented condo via 3rd party. Rented Pitkin Creek condo 5X. Worst rental ever. Hard to describe how bad. Wasn't clean, bed was in loft on 2nd floor. Ceiling in loft was not high enough to stand, no railing in loft at end of bed so you could fall, stairs to loft were more like a ladder (steep), heating system could not be adjusted, TV / cable had minimal channels... Bottom line, you should never rent this condo. I visited the local office and was assign condo 2B or 2C, can't remember. It was $50 more a night, but a significantly better. Everything in 2B or 2C was excellent. The remainder of this survey will be based on 2B or 2C, not 5X.
A guest from Minnetonka, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2014 Nice spot for getting the bus into Vail or if you are driving east (Breckenridge, A Basin, Keystone) or west (Beaver Creek). Condo is indeed comfortable and fairly well-equipped. Bedroom could use a lamp with an outlet on it (like hotels) as the wall outlets spacing is sparse and inconvenient. For a real perk - as you get in the shower, pop your towel into the dryer that's right in the bathroom and you get a toasty treat when your ready to dry off!!!
Jen S. from Flaggstaff, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in February, 2014 This condo was just perfect. There was no need to drive once we parked the car. The on site market and free bus made our stay super easy. The hot tub was nice and hot and the management company was extremely helpful and friendly.
Ann B. from Midland, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2014 GREAT LOCATION AND GREAT CONDO!!! Our only complaint is the bed. It is a queen size bed in a king size frame. The king frame is too big for the room and you have to climb over the excess frame every time you get in and out of bed. And the bed is way too hard. Other than this, the condo is great!
A guest from Woodbury Heights, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 When we arrived, we thought the condo was very cute. The kitchen was updated and living room was comfortable and cozy. The home did need brighter lighting especially in the bathroom and bedroom. Girls really do need the bright lights for hair and make-up! The condo was a very short walking distance to the bus stop! That was so convienent.
Kurt C. from Moscow, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 The unit was very comfortable, my only recommendation would be that the bedroom be improved to the extent that it can be since it is so small. For instance, the pillows are junk, they should be replaced. The closet space is ample but not organized very well. A new pillow top mattress would be nice. I think it is a bit misleading to say that it sleeps 4 people because you really can't sleep two people on the pull-out couch comfortably. You can only get two showers at a time before the water goes cold as well, not an easy fix I know but wanted to point it out. Other than that, the place was perfect.
Christopher F. from Encinitas, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2013 Location was great. Right near the bus stop. Management was very accommodating. Place was very nice and we had great snow. My only complaint is that we rented this place due to it being listed as no pets because I have bad allergies. We arrived to find dog hair all over the carpet and a large dog bed in the closet. Management offered to move us immediately and sent house keeping over to clean up further and remove the dog bed. Just disappointed with the listing. Don't say no pets if you yourself as the owner have pets.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 The bus stop for transportation to vail village was so key. Loved the convenience of Pitkin Creek. Beautiful condo and a fun time!
