A guest from Johnston, IA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 Overall, we wouldn't say that TLB8 was "amazing." It was exactly what we needed for our week of hiking (just two of us). But the unit was pretty common, the carpet was sad (needed to be cleaned and repaired next to the tile) and had zero staples (not even a salt shaker).
A guest from Durham, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 Nice place! Pretty comfortable furniture, easy parking. The loft worked well for piling a bunch of friends in, and there was a good supply of bedding and towels. Hot tub was good (light wasn't working but propping door open worked). Bring your own spices and condiments, but kitchen well stocked with dishes and standard appliances. Very limited info on check-in and check-out, but able to get needs fulfilled (including late check-out, thanks!) by calling Wildernest.
Byron R. from Surprise, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in August, 2014 Generally fine. Tarn Landing unit B8 was better than Tarn Landing unit A10. Tarn Landing cost too high, too noisy.
Cary C. from Denton, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in July, 2014 Really enjoyed this condo, especially having the 4 bed loft which was great for family visits. Three full bathrooms also helped! We will definitely rent there again.
Robert B. from Frisco, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 Broken microwave, hot tubs out of service, no sheets for sofa sleeper, burned out lights in multiple locations.
Kenneth E. from Englewood, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 The upstairs loft was extremely hot if you run the gas fireplace. The microwave ran but did not heat. Only 3 washcloths were provided for a total of 10 people.
Kathryn K. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 From the Living Social deal that we got, this condo was wonderful accommodations for a two night stay. Centrally located, great size and an awesome price!
Bruce B. from Prairie Village, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 We thought it was a great place to stay. The only criticisms we have is that the place never seemed to be able to cool down adequately and so sleeping was not as comfortable as we had hoped. Perhaps this is due to the radiant heat in the flooring? Also, the edge of the carpet between the kitchen/hallway and the living room was getting pretty thin due to foot traffic and this exposed the tack strip. We noticed this because our two year old tripped and cut his hand on the tack strip. Besides this, it was a great stay and would consider staying there again in the future.
A guest from Golden, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 Need later checkouts. Min at noon so people can enjoy their mornings. Unfair to pay full night rent and have to vacate property by 10 am
Heather W. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 Our first stay in a condo for our family of four, including our two sons, 5 and 2. What a relief from a hotel experience! Room to play, ability to cook, grill even! Very comfortable home away from home. The loft upstairs is set up very nicely. We did recommend that an extension cord be bought to be able to bring the fan over to a window, as it was hard to cool down the loft. The owners had thought of everything - extra blankets, pillows, fan, box of movies, books, and games.
Kimberly S. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 The property was right by the hot tub and was a great location to get all around Summit County. Frisco is such a cute, fun town that we enjoyed our stay so much!
A guest from Fort Collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 Everything was great, with the sole exception of the hot tub. The first night, the code we were given did not work. And when we got the right one the next day, the hot tub was only luke warm. This was corrected by the second night, but it was still frustrating (I had specifically sought out a condo with a hot tub). Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and were happy with everything.
A guest from Brighton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 This is a very cozy condo with lots of sleeping options for adults and kids. Great location to everything, and a quick walk to Lake Dillon. The owner has a personal touch that makes guests feel welcome. We loved this place and can't wait for a return visit.
Lexi H. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 We had a great time at Tarn Landing B8. It fit 10 people perfectly and 3 bathrooms was key! We liked the location and the easy access to the hot tubs. The only drawback was that one hot tub did not work and was locked so we had to sue the tub in shifts. Otherwise this place is fantastic!
A guest from Indian Rocks Beach, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 Almost perfect. We turned on the TV to watch the Super Bowl and reception was poor. We bypassed the CD player and reception was great although not HD.
Roberta C. from Aurora, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 this property was very nice! The only thing to note is: if you share with another family (because this unit is for up to 10 people), just be aware that you won't have a lot of privacy since there is only one bedroom and the other beds are all in the loft...
A guest from New York, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2012 3 bathrooms were great, we never had to share. The place itself is well maintained and cozy. There is no "view" to speak of but it has everything one needs while skiing. The only negative was the heating system - living room and loft got very warm / hot while master bedroom was good 10+ degrees colder at all times.
Lloyd S. from Oklahoma City, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2011 This was the 4th year I have stayed at Tarn Landing and my only complaint is ... there are 2 community hot tubs and not one year in the four have they both been up and running during the week we rent. This year one was closed as usual and the other one was almost always full when we would go down. Very disappointing if you just came in from skiing and would like to jump in and relax before going to dinner. I am dissatified with that one aspect. A very nice addition to this unit would be a larger flat panel television in the living and both bedrooms althought work perfectly - they are now considered antiques! It's still a great place from all other aspects.
Denise O. from Jenison, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 Very nice condo, good location, quiet, clean, near hot tub. Only downside was people didn't clean up after their pets in the front.
