A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 The condo was very lovely and super clean. Most everything was in good condition. We had a wonderful visit.A few small items were not in the condo which surprised us: coffee filters and a sponge. We also found the swimming pool to be a frigid temperature. We only used the outdoor hot tub and it was fine. Thank you!
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2015 We all had a great time. The location with close proximity to Downtown Frisco worked out very well for us. We met wonderful people that were also staying at the location. Nearby hiking and biking trails were a plus. Our 8 year old grandson particularly liked Frisco Adventure Park. The very friendly and generous resident manager made that possible by lending him a bike and helmet. He rode everyday of his visit. The pool and hot tub and clubhouse amenities were enjoyed by the whole family. With Breckenridge, Vail, Dillon, Copper, and Keystone close by, there was always something to do. Condo was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The creek out back provided a beautiful view from our wraparound balcony. The 8 year old said he felt like he was in a "treehouse". We would certainly stay there again and recommended to our friends and family.
Frisco Getaway with out of town parents - enjoyable and relaxing
Laura E. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 No issues. Kind of a pain and out of the way to have to check in at the office in Silverthorne, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the dogs loved being able to travel with us.
Lolly V. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 we stayed in the same unit last year, that was a better experience. This time we had issues with the heat, thankfully it was not a brutally cold weekend. Space heaters were brought to us, but we did not like having to run those all night. The heat was not repaired the entire weekend. There was no working CO/smoke detector on the upper level. Frightening when you are running space heaters all night. There were no clean extra sheets or pillowcases for any of the pull out beds (2). overall we really like the unit, but for almost $300 a night I would expect functioning heat and sheets, etc.
A guest from Fort Collins, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2014 Cross Creek is a terrific Frisco vacation location and my family and I have been enjoying various units there for years. I'm sorry to say our experience this year specifically with unit 311 was disappointing. The unit was unclean (items left behind from previous guests, messes splattered on walls, dead bugs on walls), the kitchen was poorly stocked (missing several items, a broken coffee pot, incredibly cheap utensils and pots/pans/bowls) and the bedding was WELL past its prime and rather gross. The locks to both doors of the unit were broken or blocked when we arrived, which delayed our getting into the unit at least 90 minutes.Wildernest employees were quite helpful, however. As soon as these issues were brought to their attention, they were corrected as best they could. Kudos to John, Linda and Jen for their helpfulness. We will never stay in this unit again, however, and are re-thinking Cross Creek for future Frisco visits. I think we can find better value for our money elsewhere.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Having rented condos in Frisco on previous occasions, we looked forward sleeping with the sound of clear cold water rushing past our open window and waking to sunshine on the soaring mountains around us. We weren't disappointed. A hot cup of coffee on the balcony would be filters for the coffee maker. A light jacket to keep out the morning chill...still in the suitcase. Only one hanger in the entire condo. Let the cool breeze flow through...only one or two windows open. Had great family time together...games we brought, grandkids in the pool, walks for ice cream in Frisco. Just little irritations with the condo, but they add up.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2014 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, top-floor, 2-story condo, located walking distance from charming downtown Frisco. The unit is tastefully furnished, bright with lots of windows, and immaculately kept up. The furnishings are tasteful and there are many nice touches such as slate floors, a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom suite, balconies all around the dining room, and a breakfast bar. The clubhouse features a pool table, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and a swim in/out pool. We definitely will return to this gem!
Jessica W. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 We had a great time. Loved this place. I think the only complaint might be the water heater was turned pretty low so the showers weren't so hot. But we came right in between seasons so maybe they hadn't been turned up for the winter.
Michelle M. from centennial, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 We had a wonderful time at this condo. The property is beautiful. We loved the deck overlooking the river and mountain. The outdoor hot tub and pool were a big plus.
Daniel C. from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 Our stay Cross Creek 311 was great - we were able to walk to the main downtown area in Frisco - the patio is very close to the river so nice sounds and cool air coming through the windows. The place was comfortable with nice beds. Great for our family of four. I'd say it would host 6 people comfortably no problem - it's pretty spacious.
Ginette A. from Windsor, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 The property was wonderful (clean, comfortable, easy to locate) the location excellent and the area has lots to do. Our only regret was that we only booked 2 days, would have loved to stayed longer.
A guest from Clive, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 We stayed at unit 311 Cross Creek in Frisco. It is an end unit with a beautiful view & huge deck. The 2 bdroom Condo was perfect for the 6 of us. Very spacious kitchen-dining-living room. Check it out--We will be back
A guest from Fort Collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 A corner unit nestled in the trees with a wrap-around porch and gurgling creek nearby made this place a wonderful girlfriend getaway weekend. Arrived too late Friday (8 PM, office closes at 5 PM) to check-in completely so had to go back Saturday AM, but from there went to Breckenridge for the morning, and back to Frisco for the afternoon and evening(used a 15% off coupon for lunch and a 10% off coupon for dinner). Nearby Frisco-Vail bike trail afforded splendid views of fall colors on a Sunday AM walk before heading back to Silverthorne and home.
A guest from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 We enjoyed the location by the river. So peaceful and the colors of the leaves were changing which made it even more spectacular. It would be nice if the decks could be swept off each week too. The dishes were left in the dishwasher and I didn't notice that until I checked it. I first thought there were only two cups which seemed funny for a place that could sleep six. Beautifully decorated and nice and clean.
Christopher B. from Cumming, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 The condo was excellently kept! In an ideal location for activities from mountain biking to boating, you couldn't ask for a better location.
Jennifer V. from Arvada, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 We loved our stay in Frisco. Loved the condo at Cross Creek and how close it was to Main Street. We would love to do this again.
A guest from Pueblo West, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 Great location, reasonable price and amenities. The beds were very, very stiff. Some maintenance needs to be done on the condo.
A guest from spring valley, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 We arrived at Cross Creek late at night and were able to get our check in packet just fine however, we had a hard time locating the complex. We found the street but the Cross Creek sign in front of the condo was NOT well lit. I think there must have been some bulbs that were burnt out. It was a real pain driving up and down the street when you are jet lag and very tired. Also, our front door lock was horrible if you were holding anything in one hand and trying to open the door you were screwed. You needed both hands to juggle the key and handle in order to get inside. We even got extra keys and this did not help. It would have been nice if the condo had a hair dryer in one of the bathrooms and some salt and pepper and foil in the kitchen. The location of the condo was great and the surroundings beautiful. I would stay in the same complex but a different condo maybe on ground level if I return again.Frisco has a lot to do for all ages just remember to drink LOTS of water and get plenty of rest for the altitude or you will feel it in more than one way. ENJOY!!
Linda S. from Peyton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 The staff was wonderful from the minute I called, to turning in the keys. They were helpful and had great suggestions on where to eat, what to do. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was nice and clen except when we folded out the couch the mattress was dirty. Everything was perfect except for that. I am definitely going to use the Wildernest Rental Company again!
Not clean; downstairs bedroom not ideal for young kids
Christine G. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 The location and ammenities were excellent, but the unit was not very clean. It's pet friendly, so I know it can't be spotless, but the floors and bathtub were filthy and I had young kids who I needed to bathe and who spent the weekend crawling around on a dirty floor. The unit also did not work well for young kids because the second bedroom was downstairs, meaning that I had to sleep with the 2 year old on the bunkbed instead of in the master bedroom because he was too afraid to sleep downstairs alone. I'm not sure if this was in the property description description, but if it was not it should be.
A guest from Highlands Ranch, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2012 Interesting layout- bedrooms on different levels with many outside doors. Could use some more basics in the condo - cooking spray, napkins, salt/pepper. There is a community grill area next to the dumpster, made for a nice evening. Family Fun - walking to Walter Bryne Park, driving to Rainbow Park in Silverthorn and Silverthorn's rec center pool was great!!
A guest from Louisville, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 It was a perfect place for our family of four and dog. Very comfortable and cute and we loved having the kids downstairs in their own space for bedtime. We also loved the stream behind the property to walk the dog along and it was a short walk to town and trails. The only suggestions I would make to have improved our stay was if there were a few additional staples in the kitchen such as oil, mayo, plastic wrap, foil... In other properties we've stayed in, we've left a few staples we bought in the fridge and used some that were already there. I was wishing there was something to wrap my kids' sandwiches in to take with us since I didn't have any containers with me. For reading on the balcony at night, the porch lights were burnt out but luckily we found an extra bulb under the sink. I'm hoping to find another discount so we can come back to stay again soon.
A guest from Evergreen, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 The unit smelled of old bacon grease. The dishes and silverware were dirty; we had to wash them before using them.
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals On behalf of Wildernest Vacation Rentals, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience with the maintenance issues listed above. Please note that whenever you stay we us, we have a 24/7 maintenance crew and we could have either moved you to another unit or sent someone out to clean those dishes. A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 Very comfortable unit. The layout works well for a family of 4. Close to the Summit County bus stop. Would stay here again.
Landon P. from fort collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 Overall very nice! We had a wonderful stay. Wish there was ground level access. I wish we could have unlocked the garage to use it. Would definitely come back.
Sean B. from Burlington, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2011 Our family loved the lay-out of the unit, and the swimming pool area was awesome! Our biggest issue was the beds: they were not very comfortable at all, and the couch pull-out was very dirty. Everything else was wonderful! And so roomy!
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Property Management Brenner family, we are sorry to hear that the pull-out was dirty, I have sent housekeeping to correct the problem. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon in the future.Regards- Management.
A guest from Highlands Ranch, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is wonderful, right on thie river. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the bunk beds! We will definitely stay here again.
We have stayed here several times. Its clean, neet and being in Frisco makes it a central local for everything.
SID R. from Franktown, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 One thing we did notice was that the 2nd bedroom had bunk beds instead the twins that we were used too. So that will not work for us anymore. Oh one thing, the rollout couch needed repair.
