Ardene C. from Bluffton, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 The property is well-located for a casual walk to the downtown core. Our unit was overlooking a mountain stream and that sound was very welcoming all weekend. If TV is important you'll have to get used to a very small screen and a number of remotes that don't seem to work......there wasn't any info on how to operate but we didn't call anyone to help us because we were very busy with family.Everything else was great!!
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Ardene, thank you for the review. We are glad you had a great time with your family in the mountains! We will check the remote situation out asap.
David J. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2016 We had a very good stay at Wildernest. The condo met all of my expectations. It was clean and very comfortable. We also had fun in the clubhouse and hot tubs.
A guest from Rockwall, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 We had stayed at a different Cross Creek unit before and like the Frisco location between Keystone and Copper Mountain. The site does not have an onsite checking, but it is fairly easy to check in at the office down the highway. The kitchen in this unit is very nice and the cabinetry and granite gives the room a first class feel. The dining table and chairs and other furniture are comfortable. The TVs are fairly small by todays standards but were fairly new with built in DVD players for movies. The heating unit controls in the upper floor were a bit of a mystery and had a red reset light illuminated with the text of GFI on the control panel. There were instructions about reseting the lower heating elements but the breakers were fine in the heating closet. The upper room was never cold, so it must not matter what the controls are doing. Another difference from the other Cross Creek unit that we had stayed at was that for this unit the main level was on the 3rd floor and there was not a method of getting into the garage from the unit. There was an ice build up in the garage door area so the garage door could not come down far enough to lock. The unit was cleaned well but could use a few maintenance inspections. When we arrived the toilet in the lower level would not flush due to the connector inside of the tank being broken from the chain that pulls the flapper. It was easily fixed with a twisty from a bread sack, but for the large price per night for the week after Christmas, I was not expecting to do house maintenance on my vacation week. It was also strange in the master bath that with the very nice tile and stone shower and the nice glass enclosure it looked first class, but there was a window in the shower with exposed wood that had pealing paint due to the wet environment. It was very quiet in the unit and there were not any loud noises from adjacent units or roads. Overall a nice place to stay!!
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Carlton, Thank you for taking time to review the unit and tell us about your stay. We have notified management about the toilet on the lower level, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your input!
Troy H. from Oklahoma City, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2015 This is our second year of staying @ Cross Creek 203. Hopefully we will return next year. The condo is clean and roomy. Great amenities and closeness to downtown.
Ron E. from Cottonwood Heights, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2015 Our short stay was not long enough! Would loved to have stayed longer. As usual Wildernest went the extra mile to help us with a rental deal. We will definitely be back next year. Unit CC203 is handsomely decorated and comfortable as well as close to town, we loved it! Happily, Ron Esmeyer & Fam
A guest from Fort Collins, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2015 This condo is fine...decent enough, but nothing remarkable. We had to reset the boiler in our unit once or twice a day in order to maintain hot water. As for the overall complex, the pool was nice and warm, which we were so happy about, but the trash at the community dumpster was overflowing for a couple of days before the trash company came and emptied the dumpster. The community grills are in pretty poor shape as well. The location is terrific, though and the pool and hot tubs relaxing!
Rudolph S. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2015 has many upgrades kitchen is very nice as is the rest of the cabin well kept up and comfortable bed. The view is very nice to. Hope to go again.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 Overall a very nice experience. There was no hot water but we phoned Wildernest and had a maintenance person come to the condo and fix the problem. There were no kitchen towels to use.The outside hot tub was never hot. The indoor hot tub was lukewarm 24 hours after we arrived.
Marie P. from Hico, WV recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2015 The individual condo we stayed at was superb in every way. Thank you immensely. The stream lulled us to sleep each night. The gathering place with kitchen, above the pools needs some help. The kitchen is getting old and it needs a remodel. That would enhance this perfect spot for family gatherings.
Nanci S. from Thiensville, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 We we're so happy to see our condo - it looked even better than the pictures. Very comfortable for 5 people. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, beautiful view from our balcony overlooking a creek. The only minor improvements would be a) instructions for the TV, VCR etc. We couldn't get anything to work: b) space heater for downstairs bedroom. None were there although condo info stated they were supplied: c) newspaper or starter kindling for fireplace. Otherwise our stay was great - easy check in and check out and a great location for skiing area resorts.
Cheryl W. from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 The condo was in great condition, there was even a humdifier in the master bedroom. The only issue we had was with parking. Someone parked directly in front of the stair opening, they actually backed into spot so there was very little room to get in around their truck and it was very icey.
Ben G. from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 our family thoroughly enjoyed the quaint rustic "feel" of this cozy condo overlooking the ten mile river. Great complex with all the amenities.
A guest from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 Everything about this place is great. The location on the river, the walk to town, quiet, clean, nice amenities and tasteful living quarters.
Gary C. from Arvada, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 The description of the property was very accurate. Our stay at Cross Creek 203 was very very nice. The view was wonderful and everything great. We did have one problem. The hot water ran out on the last day and no one was able to have a shower before we left. If no one has rented that unit, someone should check out the hot water heater. Other than that, everything was excellent.
Irina K. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 My family came from abroad to visit us and explore Colorado state. The Wildernest Vacation Rentals gave us a great opportunity to enjoy our stay close to mountains. We all had a great time and nothing could spoil our entire stay, everything went perfectly. Thank you for letting us stay at your home!Sincerely,The Kazakov Family
A guest from Aurora, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 Always have a great time at Wildernest, they are professional and keep everything clean and we will always keep coming back!!
A guest from Castle Rock, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2014 No towels for the pool?? One week before our stay the owners of #207 decide they don't want to rent and we booked 2.5 months in advance....the property management were nice but in the end they only care about the almighty dollar
Susan S. from Cypress, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2014 Beautiful condo and superb view of a stream. Outstanding value, full size washer and dryer. Convenient to the ski resorts. Only negative it got hot upstairs and turning down the thermostat didn't seem to help. Also, downstairs bedroom TV lacked a remote control so couldn't turn TV on. I wholeheartedly recommend this condo. I am a real person who stayed in the condo.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in January, 2014 This condo is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. The updated kitchen and bathrooms are a plus. We have rented this unit 2 years in a row. The only downside is the equipment in the kitchen. There is a miss mosh of kitchen utensils. The grater, potato peeler etc. appear to have come from the $ store and are totally ineffective. We brought our own knives, peelers etc. We had to request extra pots from Wildernest and they complied. The cookware was non stick, but no spatula to be found. If you are going out to eat, no problem. We like to cook in and appreciate basic tools. This is a high end condo and should be fully equipped. Perfect otherwise.
Tracy B. from Golden, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 I brought my daughters (ages 13 and 10) up for a weekend. The condo was beautiful, warm and very cozy for our mini getaway. We also appreciated the use of the pool and hot tub, even during the snow storm! We'd definitely like to come back and stay at Crosscreek 203.
Mara O. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 This property was amazing, far beyond our expectations. I will definitely use this management company again.
Tom L. from Panama City, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cross Creek 203. The unit was very clean, in excellent condition, and in a super location just off Main Street in Frisco. The kitchen is relatively new and fresh. We had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the community hot tub every day of our stay. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again. We had a minor issue with the wrong key being put in our packet but it was quickly resolved by the management company.
A guest from Edmond, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 updated nicely, very clean (downstairs beds and bedroom dusty, needs new or cleaned blankets or matress?, daughter could not sleep in room due to sneezing, did fine upstairs), organized (ie labels, etc) except several window cranks broken, vhs player broken
A guest from Albaquerque, NM recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2013 We have stayed in this condo before. It has been completely redone and is lovely. Would come back again. Albuquerque is spelled wrong, but the field is frozen so I can't correct it.
Kathleen A. from Littleton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 This is a great condo. It's in an older building, but it's totally updated & tastefully decorated. Great location, 1 block off Main St & right on the creek. We loved it & plan to stay there again!
A guest from Westminster, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 We rented this condo for 2 nights and could not have loved our stay any more. We loved the condo and all of its ammenities and especially the real fire place with provided wood! We plan to rent this condo again in the future.
Cross Creek, Frisco 203 an excellent place to stay
A guest from Longmont, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 Cross Creek 203, is very attractively renovated, well maintained and in an excellent location for skiing with views of the mountains and creek. Beautiful kitchen and shower, TVs in 3 rooms, comfortable seating and garage for the car. We would seek out this unit again for a future trip.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 This is a great location with beautiful views and convenient to town. We had a great time. My only complaint is that we couldn't get the thermometer(s) to work and had to sleep with the windows open because the condo was too warm. We will be back in the summer!
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in January, 2013 This convenient condo was beautifully decorated and modern. It was adorable! There was a problem with the heat as it was impossible to regulate. It was very hot even with the heat turned all the way down.It would have been helpful if there were more pots with fitting tops for cooking and sharp knives. Also, there were no fitted sheets and you could not tuck in the bottom sheet.Other then those minor problems the condo was a delight. I enjoyed my stay!
A guest from Monument, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2013 We've stayed at Cross Creek in the Fall and it is equally beautiful in Winter -condo well furnished and convenient to everything!
Steve L. from Castle Rock, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 Was only disappointed with outdoor pool and hottub not accessible = dirty and fireplace screen not secureed and maintenance never fixed. Otherwise very nice property listening to stream just outside while sitting by a great fireplace inside!
A guest from Fort Collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 We had a great experience. Very nicely remodeled unit on the creek. We had time to enjoy the hot tub and spend sometime on the back deck listening to the creek below. We will be back and request this specific unit again. Thank you.
Leslie M. from Pueblo, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 We truly enjoyed our stay at Cross Creek. The property was very comfortable, well appointed, and exceeded our expectations. The only negative we experienced was in trying to achieve the temperature in the facility. We could not figure out the thermostat. When we tried to contact someone about it, the notebook provided at the facility was not accurate. It listed two phone numbers, one of which we never received an answer and a cell number that was "out of order." Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed the two days/nights we spent. It was a beautiful time of year with the colors of the season and just a nip of coolness in the air. We definitely want to schedule a return trip.
A guest from Sandy, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 We had a wonderful time, just wish we had stayed longer. Everyone was just great and our property was just a dream. My husband had never stayed in a property such as this and he was very surprise about everything there. It was beautiful, clean and had everything you needed and then some We loved everything about our stay and will be looking at your company again for another mini vacation.
Colleen T. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 Great location along the stream and within walking distance of downtown. Nicely furnished. We enjoyed our stay.
We loved it! The pool was freezing but we had a blast.
Sarah C. from Greeley, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 We will write this place down. We loved staying here. The town was beautiful and the stay was great. Next time we will try to stay longer.
A guest from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 The Good Stuff: The condo is in a great location the decoration in perfect for a Colorado condo. The Stream out back is completely relaxing. The Not so Good Stuff: The windows are old and don't open/close without much difficulty, the pillows and mattresses not great and the drain in the master shower needs some Mr. Plumber. But overall a cozy and romantic spot.
Dave D. from Windsor Heights, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 Overall good! The unit does need some updated paint on the deck and exterior. In addition, updated pillows and mattress would be much appreciated.
A guest from Naperville, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 STOP BOTHERING ME! NO HOT WATER IN UNIT FOR TWO DAYS. NO OTHER COMMENTS. YOU ASKED FOR IT. DO NOT PUBLISH THIS REVIEW OR I WILL SEEK REDRESS. WILL NOT GIVE YOU A GOOD REVIEW BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT LEAVE ME ALONE!!
A guest from Broomfield, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 The unit was very nice and comfortable. The scenery from the balcony was breathtaking. However the two crank windows in the dining area had to be opened from the balcony because the crank was off (broken?). The insufficient amount of hand towels and wash towels was very inconvenient. One wet wash towel was left on the balcony chair. There were 4 hand and 2 wash towels for 5 people in the two bathrooms. The water in the pool both inside and outside was not clean.
Debra W. from Milliken, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 UNfortunately my husband had to have back surgery and we were unable to use our stay. Thus I can not give you a rating. We were very dissappointed and had looked forward to the weekend. I tired to submit w/o a star rating but it would not let me, as I am sure it would have been higher just fron the photos it looked very nice.
Jennifer R. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 The physical rental space was great. It is steps from downtown Frisco and a short drive to Breck and Dillon. We did wish there were some basic cooking supplies, such a cooking oil and a few more spices (salt and pepper were present). But these weren't a deal-breaker; we'd still return in the future!
Doris B. from Aurora, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 My husband and I and daughter and her husband from Seattle stayed and my son-in-law went in first and said it is drop dead gorgeous. Hearing the water from the river was so peaceful and we toasted marshmallows in the fireplace andenjoyed being in such a nature loving environment.
A fairly relaxing stay at Cross Creek 203 in Frisco
Jennifer R. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 Everything was wonderful except we were a bit disappointed that the outdoor hot tub wasn't running as we had so looked forward to the cool breeze on our skin while gazing at the stars. We were also unpleasantly suprised by no hot water when we showered. The heated floors didn't seem to work on the lower level and when we turned on one of the provided space heaters it continuosly popped the breaker. We did; however, love the location and the fact that we were butted right up against the rushing water. It was soothing to wake up to lovely views right outside the balcony. The kitchen was lovely and we especially enjoyed the fireplace. Check in and out was the easiest anywhere I have ever stayed. Hopefully the next time we come back the heat will work in all applications where it failed during this stay.Thank you.
A guest from Westminster, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 Enjoyed staying at Cross Creek 203 in May 2012. The condo was beautifully remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The clubhouse had a pool and hot tubs which were great for the kids. We were a short distance from the Frisco / Breckenridge trail, so we ran and biked there. We would love to stay in this condo again in the future.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 Relaxing, quiet, convenient to town, everything we needed, except VHS not in working order, unable to use. Had to call maintenance to turn on heat and no hot water first evening, but overall a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Would rent this property again.
Steven R. from Arvada, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 This condo was an excellent choice and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Great location nestled in the trees with the creek running right out the back, but close enough to town for shopping and dining. Would definitely stay here again.
Kevin P. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 The outdoor hot tub did not work during our stay. Kind of disappointing after a good day on the slopes we could not enjoy the outdoor hot tub.
A guest from Berlin, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in December, 2011 We had a terrific stay and loved the unit. We also loved staying in Frisco for a change. We would definitely stay there again. The unit could use some better pots and pans for those that like to cook.
Kris D. from Mesa, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 Our family came from 6 different states for the holidays. We absolutely loved the condo, location, the management team and the town of Frisco. We are planning to return next year for a longer stay.
A guest from golden, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 We had a very enjoyable stay. The rental is in a great location. The rental was clean and in good shape. The staff was helpful. Thankyou.
A guest from Parker, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 Beautifully renovated condo with a gorgeous view of Cross Creek from the balcony. Very convenient location in Frisco.
Kathleen S. from Sloan, IO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2011 I am actually reviewing for Cross Creek #305 (because I was traveling with a dog I stayed with my parents in the condo-my sister and her family were in #203). After looking at #203, our condo was very dated and worn. I actually feel that either #203 should have a higher rental rate or #305 should be lower--no comparison between properties!!! I have stayed at these condos several times in the past with my family and this is the first time I have been disappointed!!! The kitchen was lacking for supplies (no dish cloths, missing dishes, only one dish towel, etc). The sofa sleeper was NOT comfortable at all. Bathroom very small. Also, we have always planned well enough to be able to stay in a main floor condo with creekside access--this trip was planned last minute and we took the only two available condos. I will definately plan better next time!!
Didn't have hot water for the first 20 hrs. of our 2 day stay. Tried calling the after hours number as instructed and the phone
Steve C. from littleton, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 Compensation was not offered even though I informed employees at the main number the next day of the problems we incurred. It would be appropriate for compensation in this matter. My phone #
