Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 My husband and I just wanted a quiet place to unwind for a few days and this this unit was perfect for us. It is small but fine for 2 people. We were told that the furniture had just been replaced and it was not only very nice looking, but very comfortable, and the king size bed was also very comfortable. The unit was well stocked. The best part was that it backs to wilderness behind it and there is a little water hole that can be seen from the unit and the deck and one morning we saw a momma moose and her baby drinking there. There were also hummingbirds and we saw a red headed woodpecker busily looking for insects on a tree right beside the deck. I would definitely stay in this unit again. The only drawback was that there were alot of stairs to drag our suitcases down and up, so if stairs are an issue for you this is not the place you would want. |

The only real issues we had were that the overhead light in the master bedroom did not work. We were told they would contact the owners and we never heard anything else. I understand that Summit County is usually very comfortable w/out a/c but given people come from all sorts of climate areas it would be nice if each unit would have a portable fan. We bought a fan then gave it to our niece for her home. All in all, the unit was very nice and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked.The property entrance was very dark and difficult to see at night. A light illuminating the sign would be helpful. |

Amazing views, great kitchen, perfect location for day trips into the mountains. The hot tub was dirty when we first found it, we let management know and they had it cleaned and refilled within a few hours. The only thing that kept us from giving it all five stars was the mattresses on the bed and sleeper sofa were both a bit uncomfortable, but still definitely doable. Great spot, beautiful property! We'll definitely be back! |

Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 The condo was in pretty good repair but we did find hairs on bedspread and pillows so you knowno one really likes that. My MAIN ISSUE was the reason I picked this property was I was told it had a hot tub. I was going to pick a property that had a clubhouse and pool but I fiquired that a hot tub would do. I was able to use it the first night but only 1/2 of the jets worked. The next evening I went to use it and it WAS CLOSED for repairs so I fiqured I could use the other buildings hot tub, after all they are the same complex right? Wrong, I didnt have a key into the other buildings hot tub room. This is wrong as I should have had access to EITHER of the hot tubs on propety just in cases of this where 1 isnt working you can use the other one. I was pretty unhappy about this but since it was after 2 pm saturday I couldnt complain. I was going to call on sunday but we went out and didnt get back until 5 or so so I couldnt complain then either. Not happy about this so I wont be staying in the watch hill complex again. Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Property Management We apologize for the inconvenience with the hot tub. There is only one building for the hot tub in the Watch Hill complex, that is why your key did not work in the other, because it was for another complex. With the cleanliness of the pillows, we do take these matters very seriously and I will let you know, that housekeeping was already informed and we will take action on this issue ASAP. All of this issues will be fixed and we hope that you will stay with us again. |
