A guest from Kirkwood, MO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 Process to rent was easy. Web site very helpful.Enough room for 2 adults. Would be very, very cozy with 4 people (not recommended).Carpets and area rugs dirty. Closet in bedroom awkward to use. Hot during the day(even with the doors open and using one of the two fans. Second fan did not work.) Internet service worked fine. Bed mattress is very firm. Kitchen was fine.
A guest from Whitewood, SD recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2016 Enjoyed exploring Dillian and the surrounding area. Thanks for Ariel for helping us find this wonderful place to stay!
ROBERT R. from Port aransas, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2016 Your staff was very good and the accommodations were as expected. You did a fine job of keeping the snow clear. The only negatives on the unit was:No burnable firewood. I requested firewood.Problems with the fireplace air draw.Vacuum was defective.Other than that, we will be back.Bob
Patty D. from Atlanta, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2016 We stayed in unit #308 at Timber Ridge and were unable to sleep because of the clanging and clicking pipes in the bedroom. We think it's from the steam heat causing the pipes to expand and contract. It was very loud and disturbing during the night when things needed to be quiet. We tried leaving the bathroom fan on overnight and also tried using a box fan for white noise overnight but the pipes would clang and knock and white noise didn't help cover the sharp sounds. We also tried turning off the heat which did not help. We basically were unable to sleep for 3 nights straight except in tiny naps. In addition the air was so dry that my mouth and nose would close up and I cannot sleep with my mouth open and dry all night. This unit needs a working humidifier for guests and also a warning that the heating system makes noise overnight and only guests who are heavy sleepers should rent the unit. Finally, there are no black out curtains in either the bedroom or living room where the fold out sofa was, and the ambient light is quite bright due to building and parking lot lights so the rooms where we were trying to sleep never got dark. I had to use eye shades which I fortunately had, though I still couldn?t sleep due to the pipes. This unit needs to be taken out of commission or these problems fixed.
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Patty, Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. We were not aware of the noisy pipes issue. We have contacted the property manager in order to resolve this issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences caused. If you have any other suggestions or would like to speak to a representative of Wildernest, we can be reached at
A guest from Spring Lake, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 Condo was well appointed, a very nice small, one bedroom. The only complaint is that the bed is as hard as a rock. The pull out couch bed was more comfortable.
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals James, Thank you for visiting and bringing the mattress to our attention.
A guest from Omaha, NB recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in January, 2015 WE REGULARLY USE WILDERNEST AS OUR LODGING RESOURCE FOR STAYING IN SUMMIT COUNTY AND WE HAVE DONE SO FOR OVER A DECADE. OTHER THAN A FEW VERY MINOR PROBLEM ISSUES, LIKE INITIALLY NOT PROVIDING ENOUGH KLEENEX,PAPER TOWELS AND OR WASH CLOTHS,OUR LODGING EXPERIENCE WITH THEM HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD!
William P. from Evergreen, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2015 The Unit was clean and organized. Like most older properties, it could use some updates like flooring. Other than that, I was very comfortable.
A guest from Stedman, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in December, 2014 Awesome as usual! We have been coming to Wildernest and specifically to Timber Ridge for over 20 years....love the facilities!
A guest from Carbondale, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 A couple comments #1: hangers were attached to rod, so no pullover top could be hung---odd.#2 while our unit was non-smoking, the unit next door was not. This essentially negated our smoke free expectation.
A guest from Longmont, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 Nice unit for getaway weekend, bed needs to be replaced(sinking to the middle), more attention needs to be paid to cleaning!
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 We are new to Colorado and wanted a quick weekend to decompress from relocation stress. A friend suggested Wildernest. I was impressed with the variety of choices and complete information on the web site. The reservation process was easy and the staff very helpful in selecting a condo. When we arrived everything was perfectly as advertised. We had a great stay. Enjoyed hiking nearby and generally relaxing in a beautiful setting and very nice accommodations.
A guest from SILVERTHORNE, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 The rental unit was nice, unit showed some wear. One problem when using the oven the exhaust fan did not work correctly, which causing smoke alarm to go off. Oven was clean so, the exhaust fan issue was not related to dirty oven.
Mark M. from Longmont, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 We had a blast and will stay there again in the near future. Condo was super clean, full kitchen, and excellent location. Go during the week and you'll have the whole complex to yourself probably. Great place to stay for any ski trip for Copper , Keystone , Breck , etc.
A guest from Aurora, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 The vacation rental was okay as we did not spend any time in the room except to sleep. The location was fine. We did not use the clubhouse but we did see people using it. It was affordable. We came in late and left early so we did not meet the property management team.
A guest from Highlands Ranch, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2013 The townhome was beautiful and clean. The amenities were thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. Look forward to a return visit.
Reviewed by: Christine C. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 We would have been more comfortable if it had a King size bed. It would have been better if we had a front door instead of having to come through the back door. The management company should have told us this because the unit number was missing and we struggled to determine which unit was ours. Our room was not clean or available until after we were in the area for more than three hours. We checked in at noon and was not notified our unit was available until almost 4pm. I was a little put off that the units did not have air conditioning. I am still confused why we had to take out the trash and clean up prior to our departure. I thought they had someone that did that. The property management was difficult to get a hold of and did not give you enough information when you checked in.We also rented another unit at Buffalo Ridge this unit was dirty the floor did not look like it was well vacuumed.
A guest from Davenport, IA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2013 All was well in the unit except the bed mattress. It definitely needs replacement. Also the screen for the main room was under the bed. We found it the morning of departure. It should have been in place.
Laura A. from Commerce City, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 This place was just what we needed! The condo was clean and well decorated with all the amenities of home. The clubhouse was also clean with many activities to choose from. It was a relaxing mini vacation that we will take again...maybe with the kids (they would love it)...maybe not!
A guest from Monument, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 Great location, view, nice apartment. Would recommend a hatchet or some kindling wood for the fireplace - all they had were big logs. Wonderful place!
Scott D. from Loveland, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 i have stayed in that same unit previously and have always enjoyed wife and i used to go there [timber ridge]unfortunately she died in 2001. this time i brought our daughter.we both had a wonderful time .thank you.well be back
Joe M. from Sugar Land TX, recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in January, 2013 I loved the 8 Nights I stayed at Wilder nest. It was so cozy. Wood fire place made the evenings go by w warmth & romance. Everything one would want from a 1 bed room apartment was right at my finger tips. My only complaint was that the mattress in the bedroom was not too comfy. Instead we utilized the pull out sofa bed which was quite comfortable by the fire place.
It was satisfactory. Rolled towards middle of mattress-no sleep
A guest from Loveland, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 It was fine, but seemed too crowded with funiture-in the way and problem sleeping as bed mattress kept us awake as we rolled towards the middle.
Jaime C. from Westminster, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 We love Summit County. Silverthorne is the perfect place to get away for the weekend. We visited Breck, went for a small hike, did some outlet shopping, and just relaxed in the condo and enjoyed our peaceful unit.
Tyler B. from Oklahoma City, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 Had an awesome experience. The only negative was our co/fire alarm kept going off, telling us to evacuate! We called the front desk and they said they would send someone when "they had a chance" meanwhile we didn't know if we were in danger on co poisoning or not. No one ended showing up and we just took the batteries out hoping everything was fine!
Kevin O. from Papillion, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 We loved staying at Timber Ridge 308! We have stayed in the Wildernest condos for years and really enjoyed this specific one. Very clean, nicely furnished. We plan on returning!
A guest from Overland park, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 We totally enjoyed our 4-night stay. The property has everything you need and more. The last week in September was beautiful for the aspen! One point of information: altitude is 9,720 feet--a "slight" adjustment from Kansas! Overall--great!
Steve J. from Bennington, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 nice little condo, cramped for 4 people, I had only two thank goodness. Bedroom mattress is shot, we kept rolling to the middle and slept very poorly. the next night my wife slept on the pull out couch.
Best place to stay in Colorado. Plenty of outlet mall shopping, restaurants, whitewater rafting, and mountain climbing to do.
Jeffrey G. from Witchita, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 The condominium my fiancée and I stayed in was well-stocked. The clubhouse, complete with racquetball court, swimming pool, two jacuzzis, and laundry facilities was about a 30-second walk. Completely quiet location with everything to do within easy driving distance: shopping, whitewater rafting, casino gambling, mountain climbing, swimming, tennis, fine restaurants, OR just buy a week's worth of groceries and cook everything in your fully stocked kitchen. Will definitely return for another visit.
April S. from Sand Springs, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 We have stayed at Timber Ridge twice because of location since we somtimes like to ski more than one resort and Timber Ridge has an indoor pool for the kids. The only thing I would recommend and that we will make sure next time it to always get a 2 bedroom condo for the extra room. 1 bedroom is extremely small.
