Great condo. The queen bed sucks
jen l. from centennial, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2016 Great condo and location. No complaints for the twin beds but the queen bed squeaks, sinks in the middle etc. I highly recommend the owner update that bed as we has two horrible nights of sleep..... Or should I say should be sleep.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 couch had a very bad smell, lots of stains on carpet, blankets for the fold -out couch also badly stained, in need of some updating, but everything worked
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 Property was nice and the weather was perfect. We recommend it for your getaway. One small thing to correct would be the wireless internet service. It cut out consistency and made Netflix impossible. This is our second stay in this unit and it won't be our last.
Jennifer S. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 The condo itself needs some updating but it was clean, had great views and was in a great location. If you like to be in the hub of things (middle of town, lake activities and amphitheater) this is the place for you. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 was because the staff should ALWAYS inform the guest when they make reservations that the check in is 5 miles away and that Sunday check out is closed and you have to use a drop box. Also, the fire alarm went off anytime steamy showers were taken and the internet connection didn't work, which was okay for us because it kept our kids off of their devices, but I know a lot of people that would have been irked by this.
Paul R. from Littleton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2015 To be fair, this was the New Year weekend, January 3 & 4. The 2 bedroom condo itself was large with great views of the lake. It was older but nice and the older units are larger which I like. Check-in was a disaster. We arrived at out unit just before 4:00 P.M. and found a management person checking out the T.V. system. He showed us how to use it and was most helpful. The room had not been cleaned yet so he called housekeeping and was told they would be right over. We went to the Arapahoe Cafe (a great place for those who have not been) to give them chance to clean the room. We returned to find the cleaning crew standing outside the condo. They did not have a key to get in. An hour later, the rushed cleaning job was done. I am also unacustomed to a condo unit that does not provide and condiments whatsoever. We got 2 small bars of soap and that was it. It was up to us to provide shampoo, creams, mouth wash, salt and pepper, coffee and everything else one might normally expect to see provided in a rented room. I happened to carry all that type of thing as a matter of course but this was the first time I actually needed it. On the very, very positive side, the rate quoted included everything. There was no additional charge for cleaning, supplies and other such items. Other companies have quoted a price then when you go to reserve, add another $100 + for cleaning, supplies, taxes and anything else they might make up. The internet did not work. We called maintenance who said they would be over and we never did see them.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 The location of the property was lovely. The condo just needs an updating and refreshing. The carpet was very dirty and the bedding (not sheets, but comforter) was very dirty and worn.
A guest from Hays, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 Although this is a more dated condo. It was clean and comfortable. The view is a delight in the mornings of the lake. Although there is parking lot and amphitheater traffic at your doorstep, we didn't seem to mind. Wilderness property was accommodating and friendly. The new coffee pot got it's workout as did the fireplace. Beds were comfortable . The only negative we found was the internet glitched a bit and the carpet could be cleaned or replaced.
Scott L. from Darien, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Location was great. Cold use some updating and the beds were not that comfortable. The kitchen lacked some essentials needed to make simple meals. The park was good for the kids but had cars in and out all day long. Still enjoyed the stay.
A guest from Louisville, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 We had such a nice time! The condo is roomy and comfortable with wonderful views of Lake Dillon. It is in a great location for nearby birding and butterfly hikes. There was a concert at the Dillon amphitheater on Saturday, and we were able to listen to the concert from the comfort of the Condo balcony patio.
A guest from Lawrence, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 Our family of four had a wonderful experience staying at Lake Cliffe on Dillon lake. We were right in the middle of all of the summer action of the area. There are plenty of restaurants in the area with great food and hospitality.
Chris W. from Independence, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 Amazing location on the lake. But, the internet was sketchy at best and often wouldn't work. The TV also often lost signal. The accommodations were adequate, but minimal. Property in good condition and pool was small, but nice. No HVAC control. Disappointed pilot out in fireplace and unable to use. Still WAY better than a hotel.
A guest from Brighton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 We would give the entire property a 5. With the exception of the carpet which was filthy (but scheduled to be cleaned). The unit was older but in good condition, very clean and well supplied. The kitchen had all the dishes, pots & pans, utensils we could ever need. The grounds were very nice and well kept. The sheets were clean and crisp. The bedspreads were old but clean. The check in and out process was quick and painless. We had a great view of the lake and enjoyed the entire trip. The clubhouse had both a swimming pool and two hot tubs. There was a nice changing room complete with showers. We will recommend to our friends and hope to return one day.
Lori F. from Cascade, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2014 We were satisfied with the rental overall. We had a couple of complaints such as the coffee maker did not work and there was absolutely the barest of essentials, ie; salt & pepper, shampoo (sample size), coffee filters. We cooked both nights that we were there and had to go to City Market to buy these commonly found items in most condo rentals. The location was great and so were the views!
James C. from Madison, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2014 a short walk to dillon shops & restaurants, easy access to ski areas & highway. good parking & access to club house.
Julie L. from Fort Collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2014 Slept 6 comfortably. Great location with nice views and access to Lake Dillon. Nicely tucked away and quiet, but still close to groceries, movies, liquor store.
A guest from Sao Paulo, SP recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2014 The location is the best. Everyting is very near. All the ski resorts we wanted to go was at max within 30 minutes drive (Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone). The apartment is very nice, big enough for my family of 5. It had all the acessories and appliances that we needed.
Lisa N. from Chadds Ford, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2013 It was easy to rent, easy to check in, and the only time we needed maintenance, the gentleman showed up within 20 minutes and was quite pleasant (I think his name was Perry) The location, on the lake is breathtaking. However, from the carpet, to the furniture, the cabinets to the appliances and even the cookware, we felt like we were in a time machine, transported to the 70's. It wouldn't take too much for this otherwise AWESOME condo to be updated to a more modern experience, given the amount charged for rental.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 Great experience from Wildernest from start to finish....great rental....views....location....only suggestion is decor needs updating.....not living room...that was cozy
Kent D. from Windsor, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 All was in order and as we have found the properties from Wilderness which is just as they have been presented when originating the rental. Just this time it smelled as if someone had been smoking in the unit.
A guest from Westminster, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2013 My daughter and grandkids and I had a great stay. It was all I wanted - a comfortable place for us all to get a good night's sleep, nice kitchen, lovely setting, close to skiing and stores, and quiet and relaxing.
Randy H. from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 Fantastic location and views - right on Lake Dillon, a 2-minute walk down to the shore. The town features a lot of great eating spots as well.
Tom K. from El Paso, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2013 I have rated all of the questions a five (5),very satisfied, with the exception of the question two (2). The stove should be replaced as it is old and not in good condition. Also better instructions for using the DVD and a list of available TV stations would have been helpful.I was particularly impressed with Katie Hastie who hndled all of our inquiries in a highly pofessional, courteous, and pompt manner.
Kathleen P. from Denver, 0 recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 I wanted to thank your staff for going above and beyond during our recent rental. I rented (or so I thought) the same unit 2 weekends in a row. When I showed up right after your closing hours on the second weekend, my keys were not in the night drop box. It was my error, I didn't rent the unit. Your staff let me in after hours and took care of me. Lucky for our family, the unit was available and we had a place to stay that night. Thank you so much! We have several more weekends booked in February and March at your properties!
A guest from Broomfield, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 rented w/ fireplace and wifi. fireplace broken, repaired after call, and no internet available.wobbly bar stools, blanket with tear, ect$100,000,000 View!
A guest from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 It was a good location for off season getaways. The unit needed light bulbs, better lighting in main bedroom bath, and in general. Nice fireplace. Nice views of Lake Dillon. Adequate kitchen, but would be nice to have known there was absolutely no basics like salt and pepper.
MANUEL A. from DENVER, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 Accomodations were great and so was the trip. It was our first time out to the mountains west of Denver and we'll definitely return!!Thanks!
Bret S. from Manhattan, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 As college kids, we don't get the opportunity to travel much. Our stay at this condo was terrific. I couldn't ask for more!
A guest from Thornton, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 Needs updating the 80's r over, we realize it was an older unit but new pictures, furniture and COLOR!!!! were needed, we would not stay in this unit again.
James M. from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 We were so mpressed with our stay in Dillon, we were steps away from the lake and amphitheater and enjoyed our stay. The condo we rented was clean and cozy. We will be back again next year.
A guest from amarillo, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 The location of the condo couldn't have been better, it was a wonderful view of the lake! Our kids loved being close to the pool and to the play area as well. The oven in the unit needs some work. Stove worked as it should, but oven had to be turned to 550 to cook and even at a higher altitude seems to be a little extreme... Lights in kitchen should be checked; not all are working and in the evening are much appreciated if all will come on! Overall, we had a great time and appreciated a place on the lake, for sure! Thank you :)
Ann G. from Fort Atkinson, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2012 We enjoyed our stay in Dillon very much. Thecondo was comfortable other than the bed. Wewill be back again next year!
Aleksander K. A. from Littleton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We had a good time. But I should mention that the night light by the two single bed room window the lighting for the steps, it was disturbing. The blinds are not doing the job, at all. The carpet could use a good cleaning. That's about it. All the best, Aleks.
A guest from Apex, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 Loved our stay. It was beautiful, convenient, and affordable. The management company was very helpful. The only drawback was some offseason construction.
Karen M. from Centennial, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 This is an older property but nice enough. The view is pretty & the park across the way handy with kids. The oven did not work. The pans in the unit are from the 70's, (you can tell by the harvest gold) & the teflon is peeling or non exixtant. Would have been nice to cook a meal but really not possible. The mattress was hard as a ROCK! Did not get much sleep. I would consider going back but would check to see if the mattress has been replaced. If not, I would stay elsewhere.
A guest from Golden, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 Enjoyed stay but found the living room carpet to be very smelly. We put sheets down so that we couldn't smell it when we sat on the couch.
A guest from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 Very nice location and overall pleased with our stay. Gas grill did not work but kitchen was well stocked. Would stay again.
A guest from Wyoming, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2012 This is a great condo complex to stay in if you are planning to ski at Keystone. If the Dillon dam road is open Breckenridge is about a 20 minute drive. Condo was comfortable and the flat screen TVs in the bedrooms were a nice touch. The community room with pool and two hot tubs was really nice - and clean. Bring your own coffee as none was provided.
Tony S. from Kansas City, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 Great location. Close to restaurants, amphitheatre, lake and playground. Nice view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. Kitchen and bathrooms were good. The worst feature of the place is also the most important - the beds. Given we were out and about most of the day, rest was key and the beds are in need of a serious overhaul. The mattresses and pillows were not comfortable and were overdue for replacement. I made a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond to find a comfortable pillow. Also, there wasn't any ventilation option in the master bedroom since we weren't allowed to open the windows. Not good on a summer night.
