Tenderfoot Lodge One Bdrm A guest from Surf City, NC does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 30 days in March, 2016 We used to live in Summit County so we are very familiar with the county and ski areas. March 2016 was a snowy month and the ski conditions were terrific. We were disappointed to see the same issues/problems with the condo that we experienced on our first stay in this unit in 2015. In two years of rentals, nothing was updated or replaced, carpets still had same stains and tearing at the seams. The bed is very uncomfortable and old. With steady rentals over the winter, it's a shame nothing has been done to improve this condo in two years.

Stayed for 32 days in February, 2016 It was a great condo. The view kept us entertained with the skiers coming down and the it was fun to watch the The condo was great. The views kept us entertained as we watched the skiers come down the slope and it was fun to watch the "groomers" at night move about the mt.

Stayed for 4 days in July, 2015 We were very pleased with our unit at Tenderfoot Lodge. It was very clean, well supplied with linen with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The view was beautiful. The location perfect.

Stayed for 59 days in February, 2015 Really enjoyed the location of the Tenderfoot condo!! Was happy with everything about the condo except the carpet! Carpet was heavily stained and frayed at the seams - this really detracted from the comfort and cleanliness of the condo. Kitchen well stocked and clean! Easy walking distance to ski slopes and entertainment!

Stayed for 47 days in December, 2013 This was an absolutely perfect, reasonably priced condo! We could easily walk to the Mountain House lift (10 min away) or walk 10 min. to the main road and catch a bus to Breck or A-Basin. It is a spacious, quiet condo (even over Christmas week) on the top floor with great views of the ski area. There is an elevator, luggage carts to help move your stuff, and a heated underground garage. We stayed for 6 weeks and felt very comfortable. It had everything you could want in gourmet kitchen utensils and a washer and dryer in the unit. We had some light bulbs burn out and maintenance was there with replacements really fast. The rental agents were always peasant and helpful, and because of our fabulous experience we are renting next year as well. This could not have been a better experience!!!
Great Condo - Bad Mattress!! A guest from Arvada, CO recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 This condo was absolutely beautiful, but my husband and I were both in pain the next morning after waking up from sleeping on a horribly uncomfortable mattress!!! The mattress is old, and has dips in it that give you lumbar back & neck pain that my husband and I have never experienced before! I would highly suggest a new mattress, which would make the condo pretty much perfect!! :)
I'll be back John B. from Houston, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 30 days in July, 2013 This was extremely clean and had EVERYTHING you would need to cook with. The location was great, look at the mountains and listen to the creek and humming birds.

Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 Having stayed there before, we were disappointed in lack of maintaince in bathroom sink leak, ruining the sink. A lamp in the living room with bad socket. These were reported on our last visit also. We do enjoy staying there and will return.
Mixed, but overall a good stay A guest from Arvada, CO recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 We stayed for a Sat. and Sun. night in April just after the close of ski season. It felt like the unit hadn't been prepped for our stay, or maybe just hadn't been used recently. There was dust on tables, and the dining room table had syrup and other food boogers on it. Other than the dishes and glasses, the kitchen was kind of a hodgepodge of items thrown into various cabinets. One cabinet contained a cardboard box of random items--probably should have been in a closet or elsewhere, but not a kitchen cabinet. Some basic items that are often included in a condo unit were absent: sugar (other than a couple packets with some Folgers coffee), plastic wrap or aluminum foil, plastic tubs for leftovers. Kind of picky, but factored in with the un-cleanliness of the surfaces, made it feel like we surprised someone by staying in this unit. Oh, and only 1 of the 2 keys worked for the doors, so I had to make sure I had the correct one each time we walked out the door.Otherwise, it was more than adequately provisioned with loads of towels, soap, TP, a fan, humidifier, vacuum, broom, comfy sheets and bed, etc. Loved the building, lobby area with fireplace and big TV, and hot tubs outside. With some different furnishings in the unit (dining room table, wall decorations, larger TV), this place would be a 3+ star unit in my mind, but we were left with a feeling of it as a 2.5 star. Maybe that is what a "Gold" unit is supposed to be. I did think the website photos were an accurate representation of the unit's overall appearance, so the unit was what I expected. We used a Groupon to stay there for a total of about $180 for 2 nights. At that rate, I would stay there again and recommend it, but would not do so at the full rate.
We had a great time. Rene L. from Denver, CO recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 The card key did not open the door when we arrived to the unit. The property manager arrived quickly to provide us with new card keys. Thank him for that.
