Ski with the family
A guest from Saved, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 Skiing was great, the condo accommodated us well and was comfortable. Being from low altitude i don't think we will rent on the 3rd floor again.
A guest from Elmhurst, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2015 Awesome views of the mountains! Great place for a 6-8 people with 2 bedrooms + loft and 3 bathrooms. Clean and roomy, nice, cozy. Pleasant surprise to have 2 pull out couches - one in living area and one in loft, plus the bunk beds were unbundled so two single beds! Every person had there own bed. Kitchen was nicely stocked with basic things like dishes, very useful utensils, and smaller cookware - would have been nice to have larger sized cooking items like large skillet (only small one there), BIG stock pot (that would allow 8 people spaghetti) and a large 5-6 quart crock pot. Dishwasher a plus and worked well. Very disappointed that fireplace did not work and it took management 5 days (3 tries) to fix. During the fix-it time, maintenance did not leave any notes on the progress so we were in limbo as to when or if the fireplace would be fixed - management did not seem to be aware of the progress either. Since the fireplace seemed to be fixed on day 6 of our 6 day trip (gas sound when key turned on), we were not able to get it lit because there were no directions (no easy switch to turn on... did not want to mess with it....). Net, we thought we were going to have a fireplace as the property description listed, and did not. There was plenty of hot water for showers, bathrooms had lots of open storage and extra towels/bar soap provided. There were lots of games and books, limited movie selection (we always bring our own anyway). Clubhouse with 2 hot tubs was nice. Location is at the top of the road - about 3 miles up on a curvy road so a 4 wheel vehicle would be good to have if weather is less than perfect. We were ok with our 2 wheel drive van. Overall, very nice place but disappointed that fireplace did not work.
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Candy, Thank you for taking time to write an extensive review, we appreciate your input. We apologize for the issues with the fireplace.
A guest from Loma Linda, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2015 We enjoyed the club house. This condo needs some new furniture and mattresses. They need to purchase some skillets for the kitchen.
Dan B. from Edwardsville, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 I have stayed in the Timber Ridge condo's on numerous occasions. This condo was in a great location with incredible views and in need of some updating. The carpet in the bathrooms and the Tube TV were the most visible signs. The internet was very fast.
Rachel S. from Englewood, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2015 This unit is up 3 flights of stairs but that is the only problem with it. The view from that level was absolutely beautiful! The sunrises were gorgeous and you could sit at the table for hours staring out the window. The beds were uncomfortable, but the condo was very spacious and clean. The clubhouse is right out the front door which is a huge plus. The clubhouse has a racketball court, pool and 2 hot tubs.
John A. from Pueblo, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 175 days in May, 2014 Everyone here is great I was so glad to have been able to stay here and not A hotel like I said it was A home away from homeTHANK YOU Katie
Chris M. from Greeley, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2013 The heating could not be adjusted. The fridge wasn't producing ice. Couches not very comfortable. The DVD player had issues. We specifically booked at Timber Ridge for the clubhouse and pool and the pool was down for maintenance. It was supposed to be finished the day we arrived and 4 days later they still didn't have the pool filled and available. We asked for use of a different clubhouse and while very friendly, they wouldn't give us a code or access to another pool/clubhouse.
A guest from Wichitaw, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2013 The condo was great, plenty of space for our family and everyone had their own area and own bathroom. Kitchen, pool, hiking all great. I did get altitude sickness, though. Make sure you are ready for the change if you are a flatlander. Overall wonderful facility!
Finn K. from Evergreen, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 We are owners in timeshare 412 - since 1986. We LOVE Timberridge, and will be back for our own week on Aug 30. Unit 423 could use some repairs and updating, but is very cozy and comfortable. Views are even more spectacular from the 3rd floor. All the yrs we have been coming up there, I have been bothered by a "pump sound" in the bdrms. Sounds like a sump pump maybe? U only hear it at night - in bed. Could that be "muted? Sincerly Margrethe n Finn FBK.
A guest from Arvada, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 The condition of the rental was very clean and comfortable. Great location, right by the clubhouse. Swimming pool and tennis courts are a bonus. Tremendous views. Minor issues with the stove. Broken knobs and outdated. Other than that, nice overall experience.
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 The bedding (mattresses) needs to be updated. The beds did not have head boards. The cushions on the chairs on the front deck were completely shot and the chairs on the back porch were in terrible shape.Loved the location of the condo to the Rec Center and indoor pool which was a big bonus for the kids. Beautiful views of the mountains!Overall a very good stay.
A guest from Conifer, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 We met several family members at Timber Ridge for a family reunion. Our condo met all of our expectations. We had a reunion here 10 years ago and it was nice to see that the area has been so well maintained over the years. While showing a little wear and tear we found the unit spotless, beds comfortable and view spectacular. We will be back!
A guest from Naperville, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011 Property was great and the staff was courteous and helpful. The local police are very agressive in setting up speed traps. I find this distasteful.
Needs to updated, espcially the boiler system - had cold showers
Cynthia S. from Denver, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 overall the unit was okay - but some of the cookware needs to be replaced as handles are broken. Also, the boiler broke down during our stay - too many cold showers and management did not offer a discount for our troubles. Also, the alarm system and spraying the parking lot during our stay did not help at all. Mixed feelings on this situation. I still like the Timberridge Condos, but too many things (adverse) went wrong at this stay!
A guest from Littleton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 We love staying in this condo and have since 2003 but it is starting to need work that hasn't been done. The sliding screens on both doors need fixed they don't work, the oven cooks too hot and the refrigerator freezes your drinks and food.
Screens needed repair and window in the loft. Upon arrival the door to the deck was damaged and no screen on the door. The win
A guest from Nashua, NH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 uncomfortably warm. This should have been taken care of upon our arrival. However, the unit location across from the Community House was great; and the view was great. Everything else was very comfortable. The owners need to keep abreast of any damages incurred and respond before the next rentals arrive. Uncomfortable sleep sofas.
Dorothy I. from Loma Linda, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 We enjoyed our stay. The beds are not very comfortable. We've stayed here before and it appeared that the carpet had been cleaned--thanks!
