Vacation Condo Rental Description:
This is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in the Snowfire Condo complex on Squaw Valley Rd., approx. 2 1/2 blocks from the ski area. This unit can sleep a maximum of 6 people. This is a single level condo on the second floor.The living room has 42" flatscreen cable TV and a DVD player. There is a full-size futon as well as a recliner and arm chair.Kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances, including range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The dining table will seat 4 with additional seating for 2 at the kitchen counter. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, and access to a small balcony. There is a full master bath adjoining the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second full bathroom is located off of the hallway across from the second bedroom.There is a full-size washer and dryer in the hallway closet.

Angel Fire Ski trip Sheryl A. from Spring, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 We were missing some items like laundry detergent, kitchen sponge/wash cloth, extra paper towels. Not a big deal. Could not find vaccuum cleaner. Had issues with neighbor one floor above. They heavy-footed walked the floor quite a bit, especially above the master bedroom where there were quite a few creaks in the floor. They went to bed late and woke early. We noticed a few creaks in our condo's floorboards, too, and tried to avoid them as much as possible. All repairable. Overall the condo was nice and location we reasonable with the slope. We were told by the renting agent that there was bus service to the slopes from the condo. When we arrived, there was a permanent signed posted on the bus stop that no longer had service. That was disappointing. We did figure out a solution to get to the slopes and even walked a few times. Wasn't a bad walk. |

Snow Fire Condos A guest from Plano, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 Condo was well kept - but the fireplace wasn't working, a big let down. Also, not enough parking had to park down the street one night and hope our vehicle would be there in the morning - may have been caused by the 9 or ten folks in the unit next to ours. |

Ski vacation in Angelfire A guest from Austin, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 While the rental was very clean, it was very dated. The master bathroom had mildewed tiles in the shower and the water filled up when you showered. The toilet only flushed if you held the handle for about 15 seconds. The coffee pot needs to be replaced or descaled. The shuttle service to go skiing stops at Unit A so if you are using the convenient locker at the unit downstairs, you have to walk to the next bldg. and get dropped off at the other bldg. as well. It is a difficult long walk in ski boots and bus drivers won't take you to the next bldg.It was also very loud. You could hear everything above and below you. Katherine Matthews was very helpful. She offered to bring in maintenance to replace the fan in the master bathroom-it did not work, but we did not have this done during our stay. Katherine also responded to my complaint on the towels by bringing me different bath towels and washing the towels and bed sheets as there was lent all over, but the new blue towels were still un absorbent. |
